I love seeing Summer outside in your videos and Emily's snacking. Emily has inspired me to have a snack cupboard and it's well used! You certainly do find some superb park ups with great scenery. Norway's most dramatic scenery is supposed to be inland so can't wait to see where you go.
Nope. Norways most dramatic scenery is generally considered to be the fjords. Which are, naturally, by the coast. The inland areas are somewhat higher up in places but generally much flatter. People expecting Switzerland style mountains or whatever will be very dissapointed!

Such a joy to watch your films! You must be a true natural at filming as your cinematography, storytelling, fun observations and inventive approaches are all top notch, professional, and with astoundingly beautiful results! You could easily be quite an asset working for someplace like Skillshare to help others explore your approaches and equipment choices.
If you feel you are running out of time consider doing one part of the trip in Sweden:. Take as much time as you want enjoying Norway one way, but not much point driving almost the same, slow route back. Sweden is beautiful too, but has highways, no fjords, no tunnels, is flat, has generally much better weather and is even a little cheaper. You can cross Sweden North to South in 3 days if have to or in 2 weeks taking it much easier..
If the ice cream was taken back and put in a freezer, it would be a snack. If it's bought and eaten, its a treat. I would like to see this enshrined in law.

Geilo, Ål, Gol are very traditional norwegian landscapes with several old buildings and churches. Beitostølen is a winter heaven, used during the cross country cup. If you go that route Jotunheimen national park is a great place for walking. A bit to the east is Rondane another great national park. If you choose to go east instead of north to Beitostølen, you can go through another traditional valley with Gålå, Fåvang and Ringebu. Ringebu Stavkirke might be worth a visit. If you manage to get that far north Røros is a traditional miningtown on the UNESCO list. It's a well known destination. There is a lot to see east of the mountains as well, just as much as on the west coast, but the nature is more green valleys and high mountains with glaciers and old wooden buildings and traditional arts and crafts. If you want to see Lillehammer perhaps you should take a look at the lake Mjøsa, it's norways biggest inland lake. Good luck on your tour, and I hope you get more sunshine.
Falling in love with my own country, watching your vlogs fram Norway! We started vanlife this year, did the Bergen route same way as you, then one down south (Jøssingfjorden) and then we went to the French alps (LOVED IT!!!)!

There’s nothing like taking your time, too many people are in a rush these days you need to be able to breathe in the fresh air and look at the scenery, bugger the time table you only get one life so live it, all the best girls and well done on fifty thousand subscribers.
I went all around the med when I was just a kid and I didn’t really take it in, don’t get me wrong I had a fantastic time, then in Europe with my parents, after leaving school I joined the military and only got to go to one place and that was when we had a punch up with the Argentinians suffered severe injuries and that was my lot with them, I’ve been a warehouse worker,lorry driver, security guard all of which were not that well paid, I have my own house and vehicle lost both my parents in the past few years and would dearly love to do what you do, but health and finances are not willing so I follow you and a few others who are van lifing it around the UK and Europe and enjoy life through your little adventure’s, so when I say enjoy life to the fullest you had better or I’ll kick your arses,well I would if I could but can’t, keep up the great work ladies and enjoy 😊

You could have put the van in a ferry like Hurtigrute In Bergen and sail straight to Bodø. It take circa four days from Bergen to Bodø in a boat/ferry. You then could drive the entire way south on the way back... or go straight to Kirkenes if you wish to go all the way north. Best way to escape the rain.
@@sroberts605 yes, the ferry I’m talking about takes vans, buses, trucks etc and passengers... in the past, it used to be the main route of the transport of people and goods to the northern most part of Norway. The boat will stop in every big port along the way. The ferry/boat departs daily from Bergen to Kirkenes and takes seven days to reach Kirkenes which is very close to the very top of the Norway territory. Check the map to see the distance I’m talking about.
At least you had good weather ! , when i visited the waterfall a couple of years back it was pouring it down with rain . It rained that much it created waterfalls going along the sides of fjords pouring onto the road where there arent any waterfalls !

We had a summer holiday in Norway about 20 years ago. We took our Land-rover Discovery (ferry from Newcastle). That Norwegian ferry and the walk-behind waterfall were part of our trip too.

If you pop by Lillehammer, there's a open-air/outdoor museum called Maihaugen you might want to visit if you like that kind of stuff. Falling in love with my own country, watching your vlogs fram Norway! We started vanlife this year, did the Bergen route same way as you, then one down south (Jøssingfjorden) and then we went to the French alps (LOVED IT!!!)!

There’s nothing like taking your time, too many people are in a rush these days you need to be able to breathe in the fresh air and look at the scenery, bugger the time table you only get one life so live it, all the best girls and well done on fifty thousand subscribers.

I went all around the med when I was just a kid and I didn’t really take it in, don’t get me wrong I had a fantastic time, then in Europe with my parents, after leaving school I joined the military and only got to go to one place and that was when we had a punch up with the Argentinians suffered severe injuries and that was my lot with them, I’ve been a warehouse worker,lorry driver, security guard all of which were not that well paid, I have my own house and vehicle lost both my parents in the past few years and would dearly love to do what you do, but health and finances are not willing so I follow you and a few others who are van lifing it around the UK and Europe and enjoy life through your little adventure’s, so when I say enjoy life to the fullest you had better or I’ll kick your arses,well I would if I could but can’t, keep up the great work ladies and enjoy 😊

You could have put the van in a ferry like Hurtigrute In Bergen and sail straight to Bodø. It take circa four days from Bergen to Bodø in a boat/ferry. You then could drive the entire way south on the way back... or go straight to Kirkenes if you wish to go all the way north. Best way to escape the rain.
Do those ferries take vans do you know?
@@sroberts605 yes, the ferry I’m talking about takes vans, buses, trucks etc and passengers... in the past, it used to be the main route of the transport of people and goods to the northern most part of Norway. The boat will stop in every big port along the way. The ferry/boat departs daily from Bergen to Kirkenes and takes seven days to reach Kirkenes which is very close to the very top of the Norway territory. Check the map to see the distance I’m talking about.

At least you had good weather ! , when i visited the waterfall a couple of years back it was pouring it down with rain . It rained that much it created waterfalls going along the sides of fjords pouring onto the road where there arent any waterfalls !
If you have a chance visit a Stave Church, traditional wooden church and on your way down as if you can visit Grieg's birthplace it is amazing.

We had a summer holiday in Norway about 20 years ago. We took our Land-rover Discovery (ferry from Newcastle). That Norwegian ferry and the walk-behind waterfall were part of our trip too.

If you pop by Lillehammer, there's a open-air/outdoor museum called Maihaugen you might want to visit if you like that kind of stuff.
It's got some old history, some new history, and a Stave Church and a indoor exhibit with history from the ice age to our modern times.
