    I was at this show, was absolutely brilliant. Also on stage during that night was John Deacon, Clapton, Leonard Cohen, Black, Wet Wet Wet, T'Pau, Joe Cocker, Rick Astley, Mark Knopfler and the Bee Gees. Was a heck of a night!

      Howard Jones on keyboards as well. I’ve always thought that it would’ve been interesting to hear Phil play drums on So. Manú Katche did an amazing job on that album, but I was always interested how Phil would’ve sounded on the album. From what I’ve know (in terms of Peter’s solo stuff), Phil only played on his Melt album in 1980.

      Dont forget that Midge has been British music royalty since writing and producing “Do They Know It’s Christmas”. He became the Musical Director of the Prince’s Trust concerts in the mid-80s and I believe, still is.

    there are many many versions of "Sledgehammer" - for me this is the most powerful, best Gabriel vocal performance of this track - especially the end part - together with the whole band.

    At 1:40 you can most definitely see Phil Collins on the drums, which begs the question, is this the last time both Gabriel and Collins performed together? Most reports I've seen pin their final onstage appearance to either the 1982 Genesis/Gabriel reunion show or a one-off at a Gabriel show in 1983, though this clearly disproves that.
