What if your not having a ceremony? And just want to get legally married?

Ok so we are not religious whatsoever and are looking at what other kind of affiants are possible. Any advice?

Hi, to get my new ssc with new last name, must I wait for the marriage certificate to come in the mail, or can I use the marriage license that was signed at the wedding ceremony?

The officiant is the one who normally mails it back to the county courthouse. But if they didn't do that & you have it in hand. Mail it back to the county courthouse that issued the marriage license w/o any need for it to be notarized.

Hi there Rev. Marc. Do these rules apply to a Pennsylvania Self-Uniting Marriage license?

Overall they are similar. The only difference is no officiant. Therefore, you will have to fill and file everything out your selves. You will also need two legal aged witnesses to sign the marriage license. Not sure if they changed that yet. Hope this has helped you guys.
