It was like Bella was awkward and terrified as she started to walk down the isle with her dad but then she raises her eyes, sees Edward, and from that moment on she looks impatient to finish the walk and stand with him. She kept her eyes on him and didn't seem hesitant, anymore.
I have a theory behind this. I think when she turned and finally saw Edward I think Jasper felt Bella freaking out and wanted to help her calm down. Idk just a theory.

Exactly! I can honestly tell you that I was the exact same way at my own wedding!!! I was 21 & terrified! Having a panic attack! I’m not good in 👠 so I literally asked my dad to hold me tight so I didn’t fall!!
Then I saw my soon to be husband… He looked SO HANDSOME AND HAPPY, GENUINELY HAPPY!!
I swear everyone else may as well not been there because all I could see was him!!
We just celebrated our 22y anniversary on the 19th of this month! Still going strong! Still watch each other when the other isn’t paying attention! ❤

I don't even watch the twilight series, but I came here for this scene. Everything was on-point, the dress, the facial expressions, the make-up. I don't think a wedding scene could get any better.

i disagree because they got her whole entire look wrong. That dress was supposed to be a hell of a lot better. The hair was in Braids and it wasnt... the makeup was plain and this entire scene was plain compared to the novel..... the book description was a lot better than this and sad to say the best written because the first three books in the series were the worse composed.

I think those smiles at the end were a slight character break. Just Rob and Kristen feeling genuinely a little embarrassed about how long the kiss went. I remember Rob saying it took forever for them to yell cut. Lol

My goodness… I bawled when I saw this movie/scene in theatre when this song “Flightless Bird” played during the wedding vow scene here…. It was the perfect song choice given its success in the first Twilight prom scene movie.. ❤️ 🥹

Not a bit - We did it on our wedding day. Not only is it a natural thing to want to do (but also one encouraged by the auidence!!!), but to be honest there is no need to notice the surroundings at all at that moment. Of course, it is much better if God is brought into the wedding - a rather rare thing in American movies, including obviously the one shown above.
