Love this video. I still haven't tried the Jade Roller yet. I keep looking at it online but now I think I will definitely pick it up. I do facial massages a few times a week and I do love my NuFace device. I've been using it for just a few weeks so hoping to see results in a couple more months. Thanks so much for sharing!

try Gua Sha. I have both the jade roller and gua sha but I reach out for my guasha more often then the jade roller. tbh I personally don't see the point of jade roller it's just sitting my freezer :))) Love love nuface!

You can put oil over mineral powder :)
The one I like best is bare minerals. Had the best coverage. I put mine on light with a big fluffy brush ( like for blush or finishing powder) .... I find the smaller ones put too much on and I look like I’m wearing too much.

Don't keep ur finger on the HF device once it touches your face let your finger off. Gin Amber is an esthetician and has a couple great videos.. one is advanced I think
She also sells the best derma roller ever. It has true needles and not that stupid wheel most of them have the wheel. She actually breaks them open and shows them on the inside..awesome.
Thanks for all the tips and youre really beautiful.
Ps- use only 100% cotton gauze over the skin for HF device it helps produce more Ozone Oxygen...and glides easier....also there are different gases in the probe sets. Some have neon gas, some have argon gas...you can order individual replacement probes or whole sets on Amazon with whatever gas you choose.. one gas is better for ACNE, the other for mature or sensitive skin I forget which one is best for what..... watch Gin Amber for a mini lesson. Important to know for new buyers. Thanks again.

Trust me ladies I started taking care of my face at a early age and I use vitamin C every morning and I teabag with herbs like green tea how, you make like your going to drink but, you don't add cream or sugar nor drink - 😊 you cleanse first and then with a brush I use a make up brush that looks like a paint bush for art and you dip and paint the tea all over your face and neck and always behind your ears women I work in this field behind your ears a must - ok now, you wait for it to dry add a dab of your moisturizer rub all in and sleep! When you wake in one day you'll love me! 😊 I do this every evening 45 yrs and vitamin C - I do my A & seaweed and black clay treatments once a week - you make a schedule; when it comes to serums it's very important not to use the same one every day, you need to switch off , because your skin will become used to it and it won't be as effective!!! Now, I'm turning 60 yrs old not one again, not one wrinkle ! My girlfriends look so old it's scary however, I've done this for 45 yrs . I do my full body too ! Since I was a baby my mom first applied - If you do not take care you will regret because aging is not pleasant for women. If you can't afford fancy tools and all that a box of green tea bags and buy a good moisturizing cream, I use ponds the oldest cream in history it's what 3 bucks ! The vitamin C serum if you can't afford the 10 bucks, buy the capsules don't drink split them open and let it seep out into your hand and put it on your face cheap! No tools , no worries, message every other night . Don't get sucked into creams and serum that you think work great cause they cost more it's hogwash! Also, stay out of the sun as much as possible it's not your friend think stranger danger cause that's how bad it is and lastly, always carry a tiny little spray bottle, I found mine at the dollar store fill it with water and spray your face periodically - this keeps your skin so moist and supple , please it's important and always try to only wear make up when you are going somewhere Speacial.. MAKE UP is your enemy such chemicals - if you have to please just wear a concealer on your eyes as always color in your eyebrows, as it makes you look younger and lifted along with mascara & lipstick the closer color to natural as possible it's youthful. There you have it stay clear of all that unnessary costs the plastic surgeon I work for was a huge blessing .. you always hear your skin needs hydration so true but then they are selling you something for it "hello" all you need is water in a spray bottle, you spray it obdurbs and dries the best hydration ever kids. Go to my Facebook when people meet me and I tell them I'll be turning 60 this August - they literary jaw drop, they take me for 45 yrs old if not younger of course my fashion helps 😁 another subject ! But, I been active for 45 yrs start early and trust me it feels awesome to hear you look younger don't it ? It's never to late to start either!! Nightly messages a must - keeping pores aka face clean and make sure to "steam" your face once a week! Remember, "behind" your "ears" being when you get jowls that saggy skin that looks like it's hanging it's because the skin behind your ears isn't tight any longer as you age it loosens and please do your neck and mask once a week and exfoliate once a week that's cheap all you need is a little sea salt. It sounds like alot its not , take notes and make your schedule! Get your supplies needed always set them on your table so each day and night its all there ready to roll! This women here in video absoulety beautiful and she will age gracefully she's starting early . Best of luck ladies facelifts make you ugly! I want to age but, at the continued pace I'm going .You have no clue how quick age arrives ! Blessings to you all! 😊

If you use high frequency please never lift it off the skin and break contact as it will shock you turn it off before letting it lift off your skin and you’re meant to use a body wash / cleanser / oxygenating cream with it. I’m a beauty therapist we use this at the salon please be careful with these machines x

Use your finger to ground it before you touch it to your facial skin then take your finger off of the probe. It doesn't work if it remains grounded with your finger. Also, you should pulse the spot treater on and off the skin to create the current to stimulate the gas (not oxygen) to heal the blemish quicker. Hope this helps!

First and foremost your skin is amazing. Second, the jade roller may be resin so make sure you are getting a real one for the effects from the actual stone. Even a fake one will give you the rubbing benefits.
As for the Nuderm, I have it. It works! I saw results immediately! I do not see much from the comb yet but my cystic acne around chin is gone and my face is tight! I am going to by facial gauze to enhance the treatments at home. I paid a little more because after reading Amazon reviews I wanted it immediately, but still for $70 it is still worth it!

Loved this vid and how thorough and informative you were! Also, the demos showing how to use the products are so helpful for newbies! Just wanted to mention with the high frequency wand, you can use good old 4x4 gauze pads (they are easily available in any pharmacy section). Just unfold them and place over your face :) This is what we used in esthetics school and what a lot of estheticians use.

The face net is called gauze in case anyone wants to know. Also with the high frequency you put your finger on first apply the probe to skin and then take your finger off. Apply your finger back onto the probe when you want to take off and apply the probe back onto the skin

  • @luanapoerio

Those jade rollers are probably not real jade and its probably just resin. I work in the jewellery industry and also watched a video recently, he went to china hunting for real jade and used a uv light to find the natural substances. Finally bought one from the market however when he got it checked, resin was detected so even when he was sure with the UV light it was still fake jade. Xx

Seems like the cupping would stretch the skin and cause more sagging? I have a high frequency device and I read you could use cheesecloth over you face for better gliding and contact instead of buying a specialty face cloth, it works great, and it's cheap. 😉 Question...should I use the high frequency immediately after derma rolling, or wait a while?

Sheryl Crowley 1st off, did you buy the same high frequency gadget that she is showing in this video? Secondly, did you take the initiative to educate yourself on a high-frequency facial device? Thirdly, have you taken the initiative to research different methods to decrease and reverse the laugh lines? What about collagen supplements? Have you added them to your daily regiment? If you want a quick rushed facial fix, then you will reap those wanted results: a rushed looking face.

Such a fan of Dr. Mona! I love that she is a doctor and is totally open to using and encouraging people to try these at home devices. And why? Because they work..as with anything, you have to use products and devices consistently to see any visible results...that's why estheticians aka skin care specialists/therapists recommend home care products..because one facial a month is not going to be the only way that you are going to achieve the skin that you desire...thank you for the great vid Dr. Mona!

You’re supposed to put your finger on the glass before you apply it to your face, and every time you let go of the wand you’re supposed to put your finger back on it to prevent shock. Shock isn’t just painful it’s bad for the skin. So MAKE SURE YOUR FINGER IS ALWAYS ON THE GLASS BEFORE APPLYING TO SKIN (then remove your finger while it’s on the skin) AND BEFORE LIFTING it off the skin, PUT FINGER BACK ON THE GLASS.

no problem just be careful with the glass probes. Also in the video Mona showed how not to shock yourself by putting a finger on the base of the probe then touch the face but she never took her finger off it once the probe was touching her face. It wont be effective that way once it is on your face you can lift your finger off but then put the finger back on when you are removing it or moving to a different area. Good Luck :)

Ughh I don’t know exactly how to describe this but this video is SO QUIET, just like when you’re alone in a dr’s office, waiting for them sitting on that paper they roll over the seat. You know what I’m talking about?
Well, every single movement you make, bc there’s literally SILENCE as “background noise”, your every single movement sounds exactly like the sound that paper makes when you adjust yourself while sitting on it haha I never noticed how badly that sound bothers me till now that I’m actually experiencing it outside of a dr’s office 😂

I LOVED watching this video!! can you please continue to make videos on things having to do with skincare (tips, gadgets, nutrition?)
also, this might be far fetched because I don’t think it’s very common but do you have any recommendations for people who have acne rosacea AND impetigo? I’ve had cystic acne for years, got diagnosed with acne rosacea in the end of 2017 and then got diagnosed with impetigo this year in 2018. I’ve changed my diet to mostly plant based and and starting to use more natural products on my skin but it just feels like an ongoing cycle of white heads that are impetigo (I can tell they’re different from normal whiteheads because they have that golden fluid and crust when they pop-my doctor told me that’s impetigo.)
if not, that’s okay too lol but I really enjoy your skincare videos. thank you for taking the time to read this create helpful content for us! 💌💌💌

Wow, thank you so much Rosie Liu . I’m trying to limit my dairy intake but oooh goodness do I love sweets 😅 lol but I just might have to take the plunge and remove it all together. Thank you so much for all your helpful tips! I am definitely going to look into them and try them out. thank you again and I hope you have a good rest of your week! ☺️💌

A good brand for rosacea is origins. They have a mushroom brand specifically for that and I have noticed a difference in mine while using this. It is slightly pricey but I only have two of the products. And origins is a healthy brand so I feel safe using it. They also have acne treatment but getting rid of dairy is a good start. Trying not to touch your face (I always rest my face on my hands which isn’t good because of bacteria) and not wearing makeup for as long helps. When I’m not going anywhere all I will do is my skin care and no makeup and as soon as I get home I take the makeup off.

I think that more insight on some of her gadgets is needed. I’m an Esthetician and I would not recommend you using the high frequency the way you are. Also, you might want to be careful how you load and unload those glass electrodes. They are fragile and can break in your hand. It has happened and can happen. Please do your research, ask your own esthetician for safety tips, before purchasing. Not all skin types can use this device!

when you use high frequency you need a gauze to put on your face and after using high frequency safer

    • @miss_S

suji M gauze isn’t mandatory, it’s simply to help decrease the spread of bacteria and mainly to help the tools glide more easily across the skin. Not to worry!

That (face net) is known as "gauze". With high frequency machine, if you want to pop out a pimple, just touch that with the corner of glass device and make it close, away, close away, until that material comes out.

      @fayaziz8860 6 лет назад +2

Monika Marciniak sorry for the delay response. So NUFACE trinity is a facial toning device. Comes with gel. What I learned is after you wash your face, do not dry, keep wet and apply gel; so this way you use a very small amount of gel. Then you follow the direction using the device. Truly I’m seeing the result. Bought mine from Nordstrom.

Hi Dr. - can you please clarify if red light and or near infrared light can cause fat loss? I have read several articles that say each of those do cause fat loss and there are many companies that advertise red light for this purpose. If it melts fat, then why are people using it on their face? I already experienced fat loss on my face with radio frequency which was a terrible experience. Can you please clarify? I would love to use led light but I am afraid of having more facial fat loss. Thank you.
