Make sure you are using heavy weight paper, and the paint is mostly scraped off, but still damp when you apply water. Keep experimenting - you'll get it! Took me a few trys before it happened every time.

instead of water can you use the bubbles in combo with this?
Sounds plausible, although I haven't tried it. Sounds like an experiment waiting to happen. Let me know how it goes!
I never could get this to work. How wet is the paint when you scrape? Do you let it almost dry?

Cool! I'm going to try my 'cat control' squirt gun & see what happens (besides scaring a cat)
I think I'll also try an inktense pencil for scribbling
