Hi, i really appreciate this teaching! I have experienced 'paint skins' made from our house paint. Typically it was when I was wiping off my paint brushes. The nice part is that the skins match our room decor. I have not used them in art, but thanks to your encouragement, I think I will in the future! Thank you again!

I keep a plastic dishpan with an inch of warm water & 2 or 3 drops of liquid soap on the floor nearby & drop my stencils (paint or texture paste) into it after wiping most off with a cheap paper towel. To clean, I do the whole batch of stencils, one at a time; rub stencil lightly with a small dish scrub brush on each side. Rinse in clean water. Lay them out individually on an old towel overnight to air dry.

How much dilution do you do matt medium to water ?

I discovered taking my used dryer fabric softener sheet and using it with tissue paper or napkins in this process.

I used goo gone on a Talbots mailer! Just because I couldn’t wait! It worked
