To be fair, the name Goku Black has similar implications in Japanese as Dark Goku would in English as an indicator of an evil or corrupted version of Goku.

There is still no clear explanation on exactly HOW that form was achieved and is highly inconsistent throughout the series. Sometimes its perfect ki control, sometimes it doesn't drain stamina, sometimes its drains so much stamina that they have to be careful not to spam it. Inconsistencies out the ass lol.

Gotenks was there ..... for a few seconds... whoop de fuckin do!! :/ Piccolo was killed off due to a shitty callback to Piccolo dying to protect Gohan iconic scene which actually felt deeply insulting by how casually they brought him back off screen. Gohan "powers up" but honestly it was just painful to watch because how pitiful he looked. Thank you for making a mockery of my 2 favourite characters Super :/ The least the anime could have done was diverge from the movie and give Vegeta the kil but nooo!!!! That would actually been good because Vegeta fuckin deserves that kill not fuckin Goku!!! However the anime did one thing good. When freeza destroyed the earth this time it actually had some emotional impact because we see all families and loved ones dying. Props to the anime for that. However all that impact is removed anyways when Whis turns back time. So much for that.... Even though I'm glad Videl and Pan came back. Have I made it clear enough that I DID not like the RoF arc in Super lol???

That's actually what I ended up doing. Gotta Say, the pace of battle of the gods made more sense in the anime. But that's just my take.
