SSJ9K is more short skits where as TFS pretty much gives you the plot of DBZ but with more humor and some changes. In my opinion TFS is on a whole other league. The amount of work they put into VA, editing, and writing is amazing. If you've never seen DBZ you can pretty much watch the Abridged series and still get the story of DBZ. That's the best way to describe DBZA. Of course to each their own but I'd say DBZAs comedy is just alot more clever where as SSJ9K is just really in your face. No disrespect to SSJ9K, theirs an audience for that and I have enjoyed some of his content in the past but not nearly to the extent of DBZA. Another thing with DBZA is that it isn't all comedy. TFS knows when to take a moment seriously. Gokus first SSJ transformation, Future Gohans death, Ultra SSJ Trunks vs Cell, hell even to a certain extent Vegetas death.
