I'd say that it is definitely time for Mayday, Jennifer. You don't necessarily have to react to it, but if you haven't heard Cam's version, definitely give it a listen to get a frame of reference.
Listening to Cam’s original version gives you context. Her version is also great, just a little different interpretation and a female lead. Both are beautiful. I hate to compare artists. I like them both. Thanks
Got to agree lovely. you are probably ready for Mayday. and if you wanna hear Chance, may I humbly suggest I'm Yours or Dive Bar Saints, which is a HF original
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny.
Jennifer I agree that you've earned and are ready for Mayday you know now all the guys and what they do normally and you might want to install a seat belt on your chair for this one. Fantastic reaction.
It's nice to see you take Home Free closer to your heart. I mean that in the best of ways... To hear Chance, you could listen to 'One Man Band,' or, 'I Can't Outrun You,' or, one of my favourites - 'Cover Me Up' - which, if you watch all the way to the end of the video, you'll get a warm and fuzzy surprise. If you wish a 'shock,' then 'Mayday' would be the one to listen to...
Yes Jennifer, I do believe you're ready for Mayday, I'll look forward to your reaction, also I'd like to suggest (before or after, no rush) that you take a look at HF's cover of Crosby, Stills and Nash's song Helplessly Hoping, it's an all vocal, no percussion masterclass in harmony and showing that simple doesn't always mean boring.
One of the things I appreciate about each member of Home Free is their ability to sing each word clearly understandable. Their pronunciation is unmatched. I've been to their concerts and they are as good as you see here. Yes I think you are ready for Mayday.
@@michaelshafer5192 Yeah, both are special. He did another romantic one that had a marriage theme if I remember right. He's got a great country voice. Better than many of my all time faves. 😂.
As soon as you were done filming, you turned it back to the beginning, turned it up and sang your heart out, didn't ya ? Excellent reaction. Thank you.
@@JenniferGlatzhofer lol so did all of us who grew up listening to this song on the radio back in the 90's. It's a song that you can't not sing along to hehe :-)
I really love your reactions! In this one, Rob sounded like a good southern gospel singer with the growls and power. I enjoy hearing analyses from different aspects. The things you hear and point out from a vocal teacher perspective versus a professional drummer, for instance, really helps someone understand and be able to appreciate the different pieces. The way you explain things is great! One I think you would really appreciate is Brothers In Arms. It's hauntingly beautiful. While there's a lot of harmony bvs, I know there's still a lot you can analyze with the different sounds they utilize. It's a very emotional song in my opinion. Anyway, thank you for such terrific reactions!!
As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that just can't be ignored ❣️❣️❣️
I love watching people try to duplicate Tim's notes. Sometimes they open their mouth to sing it and just nothing comes out. Typically followed by "nope, can't do that". 😃😃
You can really get an appreciation for Chance by listening to The Hound and The Fox featuring Chance. "Wayfaring Stranger", "Hurt", 'My Mother Told Me" ,"Soon May The Wellerman Come" "Sound of Silence, etc. They sound fantastic together!
Mayday TIME ! And you'll get to hear Chance, but if you wish to hear Chance at his best, check out *Cover me up* ...but you must promise to watch past the music, there is a surprise...by the way Chance picked the song, scripted the video & directed it as well....his voice is amazing in that !!
First time here. Good production. Really good content. You are very likeable. I hope to see more HF reaction. I really prefer my reaction videos to have an expertise in music. I think you cover the vocals well.
Wonderful reaction Jen. And I agree with @Jeffrey Crisp, you're ready for Mayday. And if you're not already familiar with it definitely take a listen to Cam's version first so you have familiarity with the song before reacting to Home Free's cover. Loved this reaction. You really dive into your reactions with enthusiasm. I love it! Lol. Most excellent! Looking forward to your next, as usual. 😁
Chance leads in I Can't Outrun You and he directed the video too. Cover Me Up and Born in the USA are also Chance led songs. Home Free's Dire Strait's cove of Brothers in Arms has Tim and Chance leading.
I would say you are Mayday ready. But maybe check out a Chance lead first? I can't outrun you is one of my favorite Chance features. Love what you do, you are so much fun and a joy to watch. 😊
@@JenniferGlatzhofer I agree...Cant Outrun You is my favorite Chance lead... After Mayday i would suggest their 'Folsom Prison Blues' cover, if you really want to get down and dirty with Tim. ;)

"Why. Why do I try." Because you like BASS. Just like the rest of us sitting here and Trying to hit those notes. Kind of like YOU. Great Post by the way.
Loved Rob in this song. Someone else called this "gospel Rob". They did an awesome rendition. Lots more for you to react to. Thanks for the analysis as I know very little about singing so it's great to learn how they've done it. It really makes me appreciate how many years of work & discipline they've put in to creating these beautiful voices. Thanks again 💕

Great review of our guys!!! #HomeFree is soooo incredibly talented vocally, as well as instrumentally when they play their various instruments, among other things! This is one of the favorites, but I’ve yet to hear any of their songs that I haven’t liked! Keep the reviews of them coming! #HomeFryForLife 🔥🔥🔥
Love this side of Rob. He really kills it. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off (they won in 2013) Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they wanted to do right by him. It’s such a good rendition. If you want to hear more of Chance, try I Can’t Outrun You, Yours, Helplessly Hoping. All great songs. Great reaction Jennifer.😀
Dear sweet Jennifer, I think its time for Mayday. And yes, there are several songs that feature Chance. One Man Band, Sea Shanty Medley and Brothers in Arms just to name a few

You've done Misty Mountain and Ring of Fire. You are definitely ready for Mayday. Excellent breakdown! One Man Band is good. Woman Amen/Female is one of my Favorites. Go rest High on That Mountain is beautiful. God Blessed that Broken Road is also phenomenal.
If you want to hear Tim in sub-woofer mode, then watch Peter Hollens and Tim Foust sing Misty Mountains. Home Free is a very deep rabbit hole for you to dive into, everything they do is great.
Thanks for your usual insightful reaction. I have never heard anything "wrong" in any of their work, and I've listened to everything on their channel. Looking through their appearances on other channels, I'd say they have performed magnificently since the group was born.
