I like how she mentioned the ocean environment destroyed the old house so she pretty much had to rebuild from the start. Didnt realize that happened though i know they have to repaint bridges over oceans constantly cause of the corrosion.
@@HereDiianas There's literally no reason to stop building near the ocean lol There's no risk or harm in it as long as you survey correctly and build correctly and upkeep responsibly (which could be said for load of other building locations as well)

This is one of the best houses I have seen on AD. Gorgeous structure, brilliant mix of materials in the interiors and love the way they have used green in their entire home.
Never saw anything by Ellen, but her personality shines through and love the way she talks about the children especially how she banishes them to watch the ocean as punishment!

Mid-century modern is my absolute favourite design so I love this house. The black marble is a bit dark for my tastes...I like and appreciate a much brighter, lighter home, but to each her own. Umm I’m obsessed with her and her home. Literally love it, it’s a lot of stuff in the home but it’s not cluttered.. it blends together and she reminds me of my mom 😂with the chair thing by the ocean..

The design of the house folds beautifully into the backyard which flows into the ocean. It is a perfect home for the water.

Mid-century modern is my absolute favourite design so I love this house. The black marble is a bit dark for my tastes...I like and appreciate a much brighter, lighter home, but to each her own. I LOVE the black excellence she features so her children have inspiration and representation. I had no idea about her kids. She's a walking talking Meredith Grey in real life if seems. She's so down to earth and bubbly. I love it.
