By far the best car builder I everr saw on social media! What really blows me away is how the doors and hoods snap shut so tight and accurate with the gap spacing so even all aound! I can go on about this guy.I love building cars too and I'm proud of my builds but this guy is a Rembrant of car model builders!
Bravo ! 👏
What an absolute beauty. You don't see a DS kit everyday. The degree of detail everywhere is shocking. My most sincere congrats. I can only wish and hope that one day some brand manufactures a great forgotten, forsaken and neglected classic Citroën: the GS.
This is probably the third time I've watched this video, and I am more blown away by the attention to detail than I was the first time I watched it. I swear if someone handed me a Citroën DS key, I'd try to start it. These have always been one of my favorite cars and you keep making me want one even more.
It's actually even more impressive second time around . Mind boggling patience and skill . Had one in the '70's , they were sensational to drive . I admire your talent . Thankyou
Amazing 1/24 Scale Mount... It was a real car in miniature... I don't even have the words to describe the phenomenal work of goldsmiths... A lot of Love, a lot of Patience, Dedication and a lot of Professionalism.. A Golden Hand. Congratulations and keep going... A Hug of Admiration
If we combine technique with love for what is being done, we can only obtain one thing: a work of art. I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart in recognition of the reproduction of one of the most beautiful and revolutionary automobiles in history; namely the Citroen DS in whose design participated: the Italian designer Flaminio Bertoni, the French aeronautical engineer André Lefèbvre and the engineer Paul Magès.
This is the second time I've watched this video because the attention to detail is outstanding. You have all of the right tools I can tell. I have a fully built Citroen but the level of detail is far less. It has always been one of my favorites. Keep up the good work!
I said before... Imma say it again ... You better win prizes or get exposed in a museum. I cannot imagine how much one of your kits could be sold for tbh! Your skills are mind boggling!
My friend, everything you do with these vehicles really impresses me. You are a great artist and I admire you. I hope you will upload more videos. I am up to date. Thank you very much for this great work that you do and how detailed you are and thank you for keeping an eye on me. the comments of your subscribers I admire you congratulations.
You take the term “artist” to a new level. Your workmanship is almost impossibly high quality. I have a request, and I have a feeling there are many others who would like to see it: would you be willing to make a video focusing on the materials you use and where you source them? Items such as the many different thicknesses of alloy sheet, the metal, plastic and vinyl tubing I keep seeing? Then maybe touch on how you manage to shape aluminum sheet into u-channel to form things like window frames and radiator supports? While it is fascinating to watch, I would love for you to share some of your secrets for accomplishing these fantastic builds.
@@A4Garage Thank you! I’m sure that, from the perspective of a master craftsman who is intimately familiar with the process, it did seem to have been well enough demonstrated. To a bumbling idiot like me, however, it appears to happen as if by magic, and even with liberal application of Pause and Rewind the process escapes me. How you are able to bend a u-shaped channel formed of 0.1mm or 0.2mm aluminum sheet without deforming the profile itself is still beyond my comprehension. I know how this is done in industry with the use of presses and dies which serve to stretch or shrink certain areas as needed, but to do so by hand is something else entirely. Again, it almost appears to happen by magic. 🤯 Thank you very much for considering my request. Your builds are far beyond my abilities, but they still serve as inspiration to try to improve.
l am absolutely dumbfounded by this mans dexterity, what a model of such a beautiful car, we had the Safari edition many many years ago, and this brings back memories, thank you.
Vraiment ... bravo ! ❤
I was fortunate to help a friend a teeny tiny bit with a restoration of a DS, same color scheme as your model. What an amazing car. New subscriber from Alberta, Canada here, cheers!
Your attention to detail is amazing. I can appreciate the amount of research you have done before you even start. Money could not buy that model with all the hours you must have put into it. Mind blowing. Congratulations.
Your attention to detail is beyond brilliant and you have the precision of a watchmaker. This was poetry in action, I wish there was a heart button. Thumbs up.
Your builds are superb, the level of detail you put into these builds are only matched by incredible skills at scratch building and fabrication. Truly incredible, but even this word feels almost insufficient compared to what you achieve with these builds. Thank you for sharing your creations with us.
Another amazing build from A4 Garage. The DS is a true classic car, to see it transformed into 1/24 scale by this magician is an absolute treat. Take a look at the boxer engine, the best little copy of a working engine i seen in a long time. As far as model building goes, it does not get any better than this.
My goodness. I’m not even sure how to express how impressive that was. My first video of yours I have seen. You have amazing talent sir. Artist seems lacking to define your skills. I’m a subscriber now. Thanks for sharing your time and passion.
What an amazing amount of details, It's always an inspiration to watch your build and how much more to learn in this dying hobby. Thank you so much for always taking the time to record your build and share with the community. Looking forward to your next build.
wow! Time travel back to the 70ies, when I had two a these. Oh, memories! Thank you for creating this masterpiece. The precision is insane. What really blew me off was the engine compartment. ❤❤❤
🇫🇷in French (magnifique)My father have one and i began to drive with it.I can say your engine is absoluty as the réal one with the hydraulique suspension congratulations for your work. All is as the réal car and Colors inside and outside are beautiful
seeing you make all those changes is exciting..... you're too good, unattainable. I have been assembling kits for 30 years but when I look at you I feel like a beginner.. congratulations you are a champion !! ..
Fabulous build .. and I love your presentation style as well. We used to have a DS21 Pallas and it wouldn’t be a million miles from the truth to say “This the most comfortable car I’ve ever driven / being a passenger etc. Despite the mushroom brake pedal” which if you weren’t careful you could put the car on its nose 😅 thank you for the memories and a great build. 😊
Spectacular!! 😮Never seen anything like this done, then I'm a lover of this car, I have 12 models but I'd like to have it real!!! A patient and delicate work, super congratulations !!👍👍
You are an artist and have created a masterpiece ! All the details of the real cars are here, in the right colours, on the right place. Purely amazing ! And the bleu d'orient is a a wonderful colour to let the depth of the paint and the forms of the car shine through. All my congratulations !
I would absolutely LOVE to see you build a Hasegawa 1967 Toyota 2000GT. That seems like it fits your style/vintage/interests in subject matter. You would absolutely be phenomenal at it!
I actually clicked on the video because I thought this was an actual car being restored lol turns out it was even better! If only Citroen put this level of attention to detail in the things they build, you would see more of them. Great job! (To the guy who owns this channel, not the Citroen people) lol
Wow that's all I can say. Absolutely fantastic and brilliant and a work of art. That's what I call pure model making. Love all attention detail, like it was the real thing. I wish I could model as good as that. Keep up the good work. 👌🙂
The skill effort and passion to execute these models to such a high standard matches the original cars ! Or exceeds it! The world of incredible historical cars is infinite, the A4 garage will get very full... I bet rich folks who display their cars at Pebble Beach would pay you to make a model of their own car.
Those aiming headlights are the pièce de résistance on this model. Positively amazing to be able to render a functional detail of that nature at this scale.
Citroen DS is not only a car. It's a piece of art, same as your job.
Agreed !
١
A piece of art, 100% agree 👍
Your videos make me want to build plastic models and at the same time make me not want to build them.
Fantastic job!!!

MAKES MY EFFORTS LOOK LIKE PRE-K SCHOOL PLAYTIME. YOUNOT ONLY BUILD, YOU CREATE DETAILS I NEVER KNEW COULD BE DONE BY HUMAN HANDS!!!!

Merci
Extraordinary. Now you should make a CX, the epitome of Citroen engineering and elegance.

That engine is a total work of art. Amazing detail. Well done.
This is not just a scale model, it is a piece of art and a beautiful object. Kudos

Quel travail !!!! bravo !
Equal parts artist, engineer and master builder…each piece looks as if it could drive off into the summer sunset. Spectacular work…as always.

Your skill with intricate details is superb.
Incroyable, magnifique!!!!!
Gdybym miał taki model, to byłby z otwartą maską cały czas. Pieczołowicie odtworzony silnik. Imponująca dokładność i cierpliwość 👍
Your attention to detail is beyond brilliant and you have the precision of a watchmaker.

The most beautiful miniature car I have ever seen! An more, it's for me the best centtury's car. I like ID and DS citroën.
Belt clips on spare wheel can be clipped! Stunning!
What a Magnificent model of an exquisite car.
You take model making to a whole new level of skill.

My father owned a few. I helped him clean them. Every detail you've shown here is very familiar to me...even the jack stand!
A master craftsman exceptionally talented, building a model ,one of the world's most innovated and beautiful automobile of twentieth century.👍
An incredible masterpiece, both the original and your work!

A stunning build of what many consider to be the perfect car.
Well done
Master piece, transformed by a genuinely skilled modeller - respect!!
Straordinario, complimenti.
It's a literal piece of art. The car and this build. Bravo!
One thumb up is not enough. DS, the most beautiful car ever. And those who have never driven it do not know about Comfort.
Don't think my eyesight and skills would be good enough to accomplish the details that you make look so effortless.
It was the Citroen DS that I first found on your channel. On of, if not the, most beautiful cars ever produced. Amazing work as ever!!!
Bravo 🤗

The mushroom is fine once you know it
How brilliantly elegant and simple was engineering of old cars. Easy to assemble and easy to repair.
The insight of your engineering skills is amazing.
You sir are a true craftsman.
I've grown up a long time ago, I'm already in my seventies, but your work makes me childish delight! 👍
