Dino Rex is about dinossaurs fighting to overthrow the government. It's ridiculous and I love it. Also blocking is holding down and not back, and triceratops is a charge character that has to hold back to charge. And in case of a draw, you can actually play a real fighting game, because the two tamers will actually fight and they're kinda like normal fighting game characters.
Sadly "Frame Fighter"(a side mode in Warframe) is no longer in a playable state, assuming it ever was to begin with. Otherwise that easily takes my pick for worst fighting game. If you want to know why there are a handful of RUclips videos that show what it was like.

@@emilior934 how can it rip off a game that doesn't come out until 2 years after it, and Primal Rage doesn't even have playable humans until the canceled sequel, which was made years later
Can't believe you didn't mention how Sudden Death works in Dino Rex. If the last bout of a match ends in a double KO (both dinos kill each other at the same time), then the *human warriors*, who usually run around at the bottom of the screen directing their dinos, have to fight it out in sudden death! There is like a whole second fighting game in this game, that almost never matters and that most players will never see outside of the arcade mode final boss (which forces it)!
I'm so glad you mentioned the Dickles thing because I noticed it immediately and found it wayyy too funny to enjoy alone. I needed to know someone else caught it too
I've never had a chance to play it, but I'm fascinated by Naughty Dog's attempt at a fighting game (back when they were only two people, mind you) Way of the Warrior for the 3DO, a very low-budget Mortal Kombat clone. They couldn't afford to hire a composer so they just licensed a White Zombie album for the soundtrack and the final boss was allegedly created by taking photos of a Jurassic Park toy from McDonald's. To its credit, it featured unique font for each character's name years before Guilty Gear, and it may have also been the proto-platform fighter by virtue of having stages with uneven floors and power-ups that fall from the sky.
I actually thought he put Primal Rage in the thumbnail and thought "ooh boy that's gonna piss people off", clicked to see if it was either that or just a game that looks like it.
I forget what the game was, but I remember seeing one that had no hitstun. That is to say, your opponent didn't flinch when you hit them. And this game was an anime fighter, so it had the expected combos as well. Just imagine that for a moment.
Holy cow Jurane's sprite proportions are all over the place. Even just in her idle stance her back arm looks JACKED, and her forearm in her spear hand goes to like 4-feet long.
Blandia was one of the games available in an Arcade back in the 90s in my hometown in Mexico. It was one of those games you can tell the owners got for cheap and couldn't get rid of later so they just keep it with no maintenance (by the last years, the cabinet had not art stickers and there were cigarette's burns on the controls) even if no one ever play it.
The RUclipsr Theory Fighter made a great video about double KOs (Named "The Problem with Double KOs in Fighting Games"), in it he showcases that Dino Rex actually has one of the coolest double KO systems. I won't spoil it because I want people to go watch it, it's a great video and it's only like 7 minutes long.
LOL JM saying, “I guess this is meant to be… suggestive…?” Bro, you don’t have to guess. It’s okay, we all had childhoods where we 🎉 to pixelated sexiness. You ain’t fooling me 😂

Well, except that game was RISE OF THE ROBOTS and if you know what I'm talking about, you can imagine how it felt. If not, please take a look. It may be the king in your next video
Say what you will about Dino Rex, but no game from 1992 could match the spectacle of those launching attacks that send your opponent flying for like 3 screens, destroying everything they go flying past. Shame about the entire rest of the game, though.
So Blandia appears to be a (spiritual) sequel to an obscure 1980's arcade cabinet published by Taito called "Gladiator" that featured Gurianos as the main character. It was a single player game that featured that same armor removal system. Levels were composed of weird side-scrolling sections followed by 1 v 1 boss battles that look a lot like Blandia's gameplay. Gladiator was definitely a weird game but was a pretty fun playthrough for its time.
And Gladiator has a boss called Irene, that is a precursor to Irriana from Blandia and she can get her chestplate removed. In Japan, her boobs are shown, full frontal
Nothing will ever beat Shaq Fu. I will give it to them for trying something new, but whatever it was, a fighting game is the very last thing it could have been.

Strip Fighter 2 for the Turbographix 16 is among my top 10 worst fighters for how unresponsive it is. Also, "Blandia" has a Laughable title, and so fitting as that's what it is: Bland.
If you block Jurane's unblockable, the spell hits one time and it does NOT make any damage. They can still set up an infinite and win if they have the life advantage though.
The worst fighter I know of is Heavy Nova. It is on the genesis. The main problem is that of the four characters, two are palette swaps, and only one of those two can block (which is just holding down in this game btw). The other two instead just become fully invincible when they crouch, which obviously is a problem, but also the timer is almost 8 minutes long.
I have a soft spot for shaq fu. It was so cool to me as a kid, just a random baskeballer kicked into another dimension where he fights mummies and demons and shit. I never played Blandia, but after looking at this I immediately realized that this game is a sequel to Gladiator from 1986. When I was a little kid, Gladiator looked cool because it had large, appealing sprites for its time and fun mechanics. Blandia doesn't look as fun to play. My vote for worst fighter is Slaughter Sport for the Genesis, though I heard that the original PC game (Mondu's Fight Palace/Tongue of the Fatman) had more going on for it. It's also very clear these characters aren't even fully complete, as some of them don't even have attacks assigned to certain buttons.
