@firstnamelastname754 Even if lethal is gone that still hasn't changed that his abilities still remained the same unless is significant change like Aatrox for example that would be great, but this dude has true damage, magic damage double crit and whole lot of other abilities that is way too much for a champion kit to have. Eventually, Riot in the future would probably release another similar garbage like lethal tempo again and I won't be surprised that he'll be top lane first pick. Don't get me wrong there is still champion like Arkshan, Pyke and overloaded champion that is destroying the game even till this day and yet they still release new champion instead of fixing them.
@@firstnamelastname754I mean compared to other champs in the game, Yone had inherently more to his kit… If we view him exclusively as an AD mid, compare him to Qiyana or Talon as 2 other AD mids. Qiyana has 2 ways to CC, in theory the same as Yone. Except 1, she needs to use terrain to have her Q root and 2, is her Ult like Yone’s second form of CC. Qiyana ult imo is far easier to execute and can far more reliably hit multiple people. In addition, yone’s Q doesn’t have to deal less damage for it to CC. In addition to this, Yone has shielding built into his kit, crit also, magic and true damage none of which Qiyana has. Even without lethal tempo, Yone can make use of PTA and Conqueror still, both strong runes in their own right and at the same time, Yone has enough base damage that semi tank version builds are actually viable making him far harder to kill. Talon as the other example has no CC in his kit, more mobility for map movement but isn’t more applicable in fights honestly. He’s not bad, he can be obnoxious in his own right (most champs are when ahead) but both Qiyana and Talon imo require substantial more ganks or outplay vs their lane opponents to ever threaten kills/getting ahead vs Yone. I forgot to even cover Yone’s E which enables 2 things, 1, being able to dodge substantial amounts of hard CC that would otherwise result in chain CC’s and death, 2, the gap closing potential it has while offering a get out of jail free card by recalling. The champion isn’t ridiculously OP right now, but a good Yone will always be a threat and strong, it doesn’t require substantial buffs to be a potentially strong pick. Whereas other champions do, that’s all I’m getting at tbh.
The champ will never be balanced, as said on the start of the video. You can not have tank with mobility and damage, you need to have 1 of those 2 things. Only way I see him balanced as he is now, is reducing his HP bar during his ult by half with all other resistences. The champ would be still played, still would require skill expresion, but would be "riskier" to switch from tank to bruiser. Now he can do it on the fly. Just knocksomeone, dash through them, ult and enjoy kill, while the team is focusing you, because they think they can kill KSante in his ult (hint: they cant)
That explains why I have been encountering so many of them lately. As a main Singed it has not been particularly hard for me persae, but I always see my team get killed by them. On 1v1 or 2v1 I always kill him but always almost dying myself all the time.
It’s not just ksante. Dante say it best. The current state of league continues to buff tanks and ADC. Showing that the statement wanting to change the game from one shot to dynamic fighting. We have tanks who can just buy warmogs not even even armor and walk on enemies. Champions like skarner who can spam abilities like a mage. Or now the ADC meta where Caitlyn, Draven and Jhin reign supreme cause they can one tap. The kits are a small piece of the problem it’s how much the items change the meta. One single component made any champ with AP damage instant meta in jungle you’ll be called trolled if you don’t go ap jungle anymore.
Bro ksante is so nerfed. He is easily the weakest toplaner with 46% win rate he is almost unplayable in soloq. The thing is the champ is just good in proplay because its different, so he is still played there.

I THINK he meant Ornn is your staple for a tank. Extreamly tanky, plenty of CC, very low mobility (litrally 1 dash that can be interrupted) and 1 spell that makes him breathly unstoppable but doesn't dispell the effect. Nothing too fancy. Some may argue he deals too much dmg but as a general idea this is perfect tank.
I still feel like the average Player isn't really gonna hate K'Sante cuz of how he is at that moment. They hate him because of the influential people (content creators and pros) opinions on him in the past

In my elo people play on the PBE and even if they didn't they *DO* pick up the nuance of a champion in just the single game. Maybe 10 games to get really good. It's the same as Camille. People were good with her in game 1.
I think part of the issue is that League is getting faster and faster over time, both with champion mobility as well as game time. Riot needs to slow the game back down, allow games to last longer, and reduce damage so fights aren't battles of 1 shotting each other.
Would be good tbh but class system makes it near impossible to do so while being balanced. Using assassins as the main example what happens when the game doesn't let you one shot? The assassin class falls of hard as that is what the entirety of the class does(class system is a mistake)and they either buff all the assassin chars(they will probably still do DMG when building tankier due to this) or buff the assassin items(other classes will build this and also start one shotting people)

I immediately turn off any pro game that has ksante, azir, or yuumi. They aren't enjoyable to watch anymore since they are so over tuned for pro play and riot is absolutely incapable of making any meaningful change to balance them. Riot is just absolutely garbage and doing any balancing to this game. It's pretty pathetic.

He only shines mostly on high levels of play/proplay because of the nature of gameplay there. In an average soloq game, other champs that have high snowball potential yield better results since ksante is not snowbally in nature

Possible changes in my opinion: increase base damage while decrease resistance scaling, reduce converted damage with r, increase needed q for empowered q from 2 to 3 or 4, decrease time that w can be channeled
i started one trickibg ksante in draft because the champ is extremely fun if played right and u get those rages out of enemies, however he is THE WEAKEST toplaner to solo carry so i cant play in ranked as a low plat
This champ ruined the skills matchup in the top lane due to him can be win almost every matchup when he used R no matter the deficits. When a top tier pro used him, he looked great. When a bottom tier pro used him, he still looked great.
The thing is K'sante isnt much worse than aphel,zeri and yuumi but the difference is zeri and aphel require a lot of skill to bring their full potential and were nerfed before that happened and yuumi wasnt that op just was very safe and consistent while K sante has the potential of zeri and aphel but also the safety of being a tank .
Ksante takes a lot of skill to be played correctly. Exactly like aphelios on release Soloq wasn't a problem as people didn't know how to use the champ. Pro knows and the same goes for ksante. Ksante needs more skills than you think
I mean once aphelios was nerfed he's been pretty balanced but ksante has had reworks and several nerfs and is still one of the strongest champs in competitive
Worst part about this BS 10 in 1 character was made so absurdly overtuned is almost guaranteed because of the political reasons. He represents league's African people and also happens to be gay. Of course they planned to make him extremely strong and popular even before releasing him. You could point out that the same logic doesn't apply to other 200 year champs like Smolder, Aphelios or Zeri, but you can't convince me that K'sante doesn't stand out even compared to them. Because despite being constantly refered to as a "difficult" or "high skill ceiling character" he is still an extremely durable and therefore forgiving champion, who can be very strong and useful even when playing from behind, that was shown by pro players lots and lots of times. You cannot say the same about Zeri, Aphelios or any other BS 200 year champion that Riot recently blessed us with. Riot is mostly known for their newly released champs, the champs are either broken; literal children; furrys or all of the above. Allot is said with every champ released, we need more of those manly men and female champs like Darius, Garen, Illaoi, Poppy etc
the problem with the champ is that riot thinks they made him "less tank" by removing some hp armor etc when ult. but he still keeps passive's like thorn or randuin. idk why they did go with this champ idea. i think the ult's active part is a good idea they should have went with something different that fits a tank role

I THINK he meant Ornn is your staple for a tank. Extreamly tanky, plenty of CC, very low mobility (litrally 1 dash that can be interrupted) and 1 spell that makes him breathly unstoppable but doesn't dispell the effect. Nothing too fancy. Some may argue he deals too much dmg but as a general idea this is perfect tank.

The problem is not KSante himself, the problem is that Riot is not going to stop releasing champions like him. Once in a while such champions make their way into low elo and it's pure hell for us from there

In my elo people play on the PBE and even if they didn't they *DO* pick up the nuance of a champion in just the single game. Maybe 10 games to get really good.

I think part of the issue is that League is getting faster and faster over time, both with champion mobility as well as game time. Riot needs to slow the game back down, allow games to last longer, and reduce damage so fights aren't battles of 1 shotting each other.

Would be good tbh but class system makes it near impossible to do so while being balanced. Using assassins as the main example what happens when the game doesn't let you one shot? The assassin class falls of hard as that is what the entirety of the class does(class system is a mistake)and they either buff all the assassin chars(they will probably still do DMG when building tankier due to this) or buff the assassin items(other classes will build this and also start one shotting people)

The game is too big, and the audience too addicted. They could do everything short of breaking into your house and smashing your fingers for being rude in all chat, and people would still play. Complain a lot sure, but they'll still play.

I immediately turn off any pro game that has ksante, azir, or yuumi. They aren't enjoyable to watch anymore since they are so over tuned for pro play and riot is absolutely incapable of making any meaningful change to balance them. Riot is just absolutely garbage and doing any balancing to this game. It's pretty pathetic.

He only shines mostly on high levels of play/proplay because of the nature of gameplay there. In an average soloq game, other champs that have high snowball potential yield better results since ksante is not snowbally in nature

This champ ruined the skills matchup in the top lane due to him can be win almost every matchup when he used R no matter the deficits. When a top tier pro used him, he looked great. When a bottom tier pro used him, he still looked great.
The thing is K'sante isnt much worse than aphel,zeri and yuumi but the difference is zeri and aphel require a lot of skill to bring their full potential and were nerfed before that happened and yuumi wasnt that op just was very safe and consistent while K sante has the potential of zeri and aphel but also the safety of being a tank .
Ksante take skills too hence the pro player abusing him while he suffer in solo queue. The kit is just overload and power needs to be shift around
Ksante takes a lot of skill to be played correctly. Exactly like aphelios on release Soloq wasn't a problem as people didn't know how to use the champ. Pro knows and the same goes for ksante. Ksante needs more skills than you think

Worst part about this BS 10 in 1 character was made so absurdly overtuned is almost guaranteed because of the political reasons. He represents league's African people and also happens to be gay. Of course they planned to make him extremely strong and popular even before releasing him.
You could point out that the same logic doesn't apply to other 200 year champs like Smolder, Aphelios or Zeri, but you can't convince me that K'sante doesn't stand out even compared to them.
Because despite being constantly refered to as a "difficult" or "high skill ceiling character" he is still an extremely durable and therefore forgiving champion, who can be very strong and useful even when playing from behind, that was shown by pro players lots and lots of times. You cannot say the same about Zeri, Aphelios or any other BS 200 year champion that Riot recently blessed us with.

I am glad there are people out there that understand this part. It's stuff like this that bothers me endlessly. I live in the nation that legalized gay marriage first and I will gladly go to war so they can keep that right.
