Fufu is a very popular dish known widely to West Africans, and the preparation differs from country to county, and region to region. Fufu is eaten with a multitude of soups ranging from light soup, palmnut soup, ebunuebunu, groundnut or peanut soup, just to mention a few.
INGREDIENTS:
Plantain
Cassava
Potatoes
* For fufu powder, use the following ratio: 3 parts of plantain flour to 2 parts of cassava flour to one part of potato flour.
* For stove top fufu, use 2 parts of home made fufu flour to 4 parts of water. Add more water to obtain your desired texture, that is softness or firmness.

Nana God bless you plenty for me oo. Nana I have purchased my Presto dehydrator,it was delivered on Tuesday. I couldn't wait to make my own plantain and cassava flour for Fufu. My husband is pure kwahu man so he can't live without fufu, however I have been wondering how to make the fufu powder myself but no ideas at all so I always boil the plantain b4 making my fufu. Nana after I closed from work today, I told my nephew take me to the grocery store so I can buy plantain and cassava. Its 12:25am in Canada here and I'm peeling the plantain. I also ordered 4 extra trays making it 10trays so I can make more powder. Ah Nana, Onyankropon Nhyira wo paa. Much love😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
you are the best 👌🏾✌🏾

Enjoy my darling sister, awwwww you’ve ignited something in me ,l’ve enjoyed the video thank you,👍👍
Really, It looks sensational and delicious
The food dehydrator is indeed time saving, back then we usually use natural sunlight to dry the plantains and cassava, which takes time to get dry properly. I love the end result of this preparation, it looks so good! Thanks for sharing with us.😍
Tojestical thank you so so much ❤️
I watched a video of these people in Africa making fufu. They just mashed the plantains and cassava raw with no powders.
So why make this into a powder first?
Looks Delicious!!!
Love it!

Yummy yummy awesome food
I have tried fufu before in the US and loved it but can't find it back home. An idea just came to my mind to make my own fufu flour since plaintain, cassava and yam are all available here. Your video makes me think this is sooo doable. I will try making it myself. Thanks a ton for the tips.
That was a very exciting lesson 🙂
You are awesome! Thank you 😘
Greetings from jamaica 🇯🇲 Trelawny this is dumpling flour but our dough is boiled, fried or baked on the firewood, in canada l add a little baking powder 11/2-2tsp or 1tbps full plus nutmeg and make pancakes. If you want some protein you can add 2table spoon of chickpeas reduce cassava flour by 2table spoon ful and add 2table spoonful of sugar. Fry in little oil. Use a brush to moisten the pan prior very very little oil. Eat with any stew especially vegan stew 😋 . Or make roti. Or use it to make a delicious plantain cassva cake 🎂 or pudding You can make waffles or fried dumplings or festivals.
Big up the Afro culture. One Nation under God. Our diet is endless use coconut oil or palm or our vegetable oils as much as possible. Forget about olive oil read up how it is process with lye and only the extra extra virgin is good rubbish. Go back to our great Great grandmother's cooking.
Thank you so much for a wonderful video and the twist on tun cornmeal.
Awesome 👏 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow! Thanks for this Sis. I will definitely try this. Please do a video on the soup too. Muah, your aficionado from Lagos Nigeria.
