That's pretty cool. Its good to have options like that, especially if you're really attached or used to playing with a certain controller. And would like to use that on other devices. Pretty sweet!

Since it has the Nintendo port I wonder if it'll work on the Wii using the bottom of the Wiimote when playing GameCube games...I'd definitely use a Switch Pro Controller if possible
It is an interesting experiment. I tried with the 8Bitdo Retro Receivers but the console froze. Who knows with these ones
I'd say no as the wii would be running as a gamecube and wouldn't even look for a wiimote

After updated firmware to v1.28 or higher, user must switch the mode to "white light" while connecting to a PC, MAC, or LINUX computer. Then, you can connect your "white light" Magic NS to Sega Astro City. Now you can use XBOX One controller(wired), PS4 controller(wired), and Nintendo Switch Pro controller(wireless) on your Sega Astro City mini.
Just FYI you can use a WIRED xbox 360 controller on the playstation mini classic.
Did you try holding start and pressing down to change the orientation of the buttons on tg16? Worked on the Retrobit ones

Great video, would you happen to know if this works on the actual consoles or if there's something like this out there for systems like PS4/Xbox one/Switch? I have a few 8bitdo controllers and I really wish I could use them with the PS4 and Xbox one.

The Logitech PS2 controller is the best wireless controller for the original systems.

You didn't test the Neo Geo Mini. I remember it not being compatible with any third-party controllers.
It works just fine, wasnt going to test every console on camera. But ive done other videos using controllers on the Neo Mini... Natively yeah 3rd party controls dont work but with these different type of adapters weve been able to use whatever we want on the Neo Mini for a long while now, so didnt think it would be shocking or anything to show it work. But it does work

Im sure this is a dumb question......if i use this dongle with my hyperkin wireless scout snes controller (its the one for actual snes or supa retron and not thr snes classic version) , on my snes classic will i have the option to go back to game selection without having to get up and reset?????? Only controller i know of that will do this on the snes classic is the 8bitdo snes classic controller. Gues il jst have to buy that if i want that option.....anyways Just curious if u knew and thanks for great content!

Using this with sn30 pro in switch mode for pc engine mini and I have an odd issue when pressing up/left up/right on the dpad it gives the opposite left right inputs. I have emailed them about the button 1 and 2 issue also.

If the controller works for the Switch it will work with this adapter. The 8bitdo Arcade stick works fine.
