- The longest night of the year is upon us! I hope you enjoy this video of simple ideas for celebrating the winter solstice and making the most of Yule. I wish I was this artist! I've had people tell me homemade gifts arnt "real gifts" what do you think about that? Surely time and care means more than money but apparently note with some people

I have a little plate in my kitchen where I always have some treats to the spirit in my home. Seeds, raisin, bread... When it's time to celebrate something, like Yule for example, I leave something a little bit more yummy, like gingerbread, candys etc. I think it's good for the feeling of the home to take care of its spirit. 😊

I hope you had a lovely Solstice. We always climb to the top of a local hill where there is a stone circle to witness the rebirth of the sun and then dash home for a vegan fry up! I love the bear and the nightingale trilogy and is particularly lovely to read at this time of year. Blessings from a tiny stone cottege in Wales

👍Another main tradition for celebration of Yule is the serving Ham & for the ancient Celtic tradition for any celebration is the serving of six main dishes the proper number for a feast.

We had blizzard yesterday it’s was blowing it was 9-10 inches snow beautiful yet I made it to work this morning the plows cleared the roads. ItS supposed to be 50 mph windy the business are closing from that! I’m going to make the felt ornaments tonight!! 🦊 my sister loves foxes; my bro and GOAT 🐐

I love your video and thank you for posting this. Please, though, I just want to mention that care needs to be taken with raspberry leaf tea, as drinking it in pregnancy as it could induce miscarriage. Drinking it in late pregnancy is said to be helpful with birthing. Information can be researched, but raspberry leaf tea is not something I would give without a warning…

It is not real fur, and you can use whatever type of milk you like, I usually drink oat or soy..
