I like the point about online dating. I think once you know who YOU are in Christ you can discern who you should give your time to in online dating. The setting (online vs traditional) may be different but your morals and values should remain the same.

I talked about this on my channel. There is no one in my church and my city only 5% Christian. I am shocked how many men call themselves Christian yet just want to hook up or sextext. Its nasty out there. I think God wants us to not u at sit there and do nothing. God blesses our efforts and we should be proactive. Its the same for our health, marriages, family, and finances. I can spot scammers and pervs reveal themselves fast. Its just a pain going through the muck to find the treasure. My pastor and elder said they would check out any man who I am thinking of courting. So any man needs their approval before even getting serious. I think that was the smartest dating step I ever made. I think there is nothing wrong with online dating. Just like "normal" dating discernment comes into place. I think the Christian community takes dating way to seriously and tend to take the fun out of it. This was a great video!

As an older woman, I can testify that Online Dating is a Devils playground. I absolutely loved the idea of being able to go online to meet people. I have physically met VERY FEW in a decade. No matter which site it is, the majority of profiles are scammers and another percentage are people looking to "hook up". 🙄 I never found someone to "date" and would not recommend it for anyone over 50 who is wanting a serious and Godly relationship. On the good side, God gave me several opportunities to witness for Him in conversations, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.
I disagree, I believe with much prayer and being led by the Holy Spirit, you will know who to engage with. Many many profiles I skip over and know that he is not the one for me. I am over 50 and met someone and we now attend the same church (long story but a miracle). Information about him has been confirmed to all be true. Even with this meeting, I am taking it slow and trusting God to work out His plans for us.

I tend to agree with you, it ended up being more of a distraction because most of the potential "mates" were not typically Christ centered men. Deleted the apps and using this time to grow closer to God and leave the rest to God.
Best are the traditional way, in India it’s the neighbour, relatives, family friend or even church members will try and help you to find a life partner. This way is much safer than online dating. I’m happily married to an Australian Christian guy, husband is caring and family oriented . Thank you Jesus.

Yes, but you can still get screwed over even through the traditional way. I trust in God how I will find my significant other, but I do have to say things aren't the same in India compared to the U.S., especially finding someone from a relative or friend, sis.

On-line dating doesn't work. I've tried different dating websites. I'm waiting patiently and trusting in God to bring the right women into my life. I know it's my responsibility to ask her out when we meet and that's what I will do. You have to meet God in the middle. He'll bring the right person but then you have to take a leap of faith!

I have been online dating for years and have only gone on maybe two dates. Neither one successful, one guy was a bit of a jerk tbh and the other wanted more physically than I was willing to do. I've never had luck with it and I feel the men I'm attracted to aren't attracted to me, and only much older men or men in far away countries are interested. Yet I still do it. However I do have that feeling that God has something better for me each time I even start chatting with a guy. And yeah there's a lot of so called Christian guys who just want to talk dirty online and I mean a lot!! So watch out for those, I shut them down quick.
I just feel weird about dating online. It feels as though you are shopping for a spouse. I feel that meeting people in person is much easier, since you get to know the whole person and not just their profile picture/texts. I've also had some somewhat unpleasant experiences on christian dating sites. I'm praying that God will bring the right man in person and I continue to put myself out there and seek first the Kingdom of God!

In my opinion and experience, online dating is the worst! The quality of guys or girls are more into hooking up. They will not mention that on their profile until you actually meet them. Too risky for my liking, and time wasted. Develop interests outside of "on-line dating".

Met a guy on CM- im from canada, hes a mexican in crescent city california!!loved him, his family and his church! But the whole situation became emotionally and mentally abusive!not only him but his pastors wer condessending and making all sorts of false accusations! I was doubting eveything about myself!! They blamed me for so much and made him doubt my relationshup wt God completly!! It really depends on the dating site and we should always be wary of people who lie on their profiles. I tried dating apps a few times and I was always a little bit skeptical, plus dating apps cost money. I would prefer meeting in person through friends or family.
I don't know but been a Christian for long time and I learned to have discernment spirit because even in church people's comes with wrong motives and end hearing the word of God and change their lives. I also have tried online dating sites like, Hitwe, Zooks or even Christian Mingle, but I haven't had any luck with finding the right woman for me, but aside from that, I still have Faith that God can and will bring the right woman to me in His time. Aside from that, you can never be too careful with whoever you chat with online, you'll never know if that other person is a fake or even a scammer or a catfish, honestly :-).

I'm almost 22, God has given me a desire ever since I was little, I always wanted to be a mom and wife. I've never been on a date before or had a relationship with a guy outside of just a casual friendship. I work from home so I don't get out much and there aren't any guys at my church that I'm interested or them interested in me. Even though I am young would you suggest dating online? I’ve signed up for every single church event that I could go to to meet people. Unfortunately, there is only bars around here to hang out (I live in a college town).

I went to dating site since when I was 18 and everything you said is true but for me there's nothing wrong with it atleast it's something you are comfortable with. I am more comfortable talking to them online first before meeting them. I've learn a lot from it and now that I'm tired Doing online dating I wanted something in person lol. Online dating is worse because I have come across ghosters, players, manipulators, etc. my last date was nothing but a sex addict so I dumped him immediately and he was a player. Online dating maybe be a good choice if there’s not many Christians singles in your area but it’s frustrating when you meet someone but they live 500+ KM away so there’s not even a chance of even trying to go out on a date or establish a friendship...well maybe a friendship is possible but not necessarily on a more personable level if you lived closer to one another. Just some thoughts from experience. I truly want God to write my story but does this mean that I should sit back and literally let God bring forth someone to start a friendship? Like literally drop him on my doorstep (like what happened with a few friends of mine) Or should I just “get out there” and try?🤷🏼♀️
I had the oddest thing happen. I was on a forum and I met somebody that I felt was God sent. It freaks me out how much we have in common. I certainly don't want to jump to conclusions. I asked God for a sign and God answered. This is weird . Would God bring two ppl together so randomly??? Or satan?
Traci H keep praying abou it. Bring clarity and to reveal who they really are. Sometimes God can act quick. For example, I pleaded with God on a Sunday morning to let me know if the church I've been going to was for me. I got my answer the same day. Since I've been gone I saw what I needed to see.

I am almost 21 & I am working in an environment with only women (I'm a teacher) & I go to church where my college youth group consists of 4 guys & 3 of them are married. I have been single for nearly 6 months & I ended things on good terms with my ex so I have no attachments. I've been praying to God & preparing myself & I plan to continue doing that. I want a Christian dater
I'm 22 and I've never been on a date with a guy. But I never went to college. I'm working at my church but all the guys that work and/or go to my church don't seem interested. But I'm also introverted and when I try to talk more I'm just brushed off or ignored, not to mention people immediately assume I'm flirting and make it a point to yell as loud as possible about it right in front of the guy. So idk, I have been heavily considering it aswell. I was always told horror story's (dad's a cop) about online dating so I wasn't gonna try it... until I got a new coworker who also has a cop dad who told her horror stories aswell but she tried it anyways and set VERY strict boundaries about how and when and where they met up for dates until she was comfortable with him coming home to meet her family. She ended up marrying him. Now I know I'm not her so my experience could be a little different, but hearing how cautious she was kinda helps me know that I can put my foot down and let the guy know I'm not about to let him catfish me.
All in all, I feel like if I'm cautious about it and if I let a friend or two know, or my older sister since we are close, then I should be ok with at least trying it. Because I'm tired of being ignored in real life. I REALLY desire to meet someone naturally in person, because I have close best friends that I've met naturally, but when it comes to guys it's like I don't even exist sometimes. (It also doesn't help that I actually really gave it a good try one time with a guy and it failed so bad that I'm now kinda frightened about the idea of always making the first move) so yeah. I'm going to pray about it for a little while longer, maybe till the end of the month, and then if I'm still leaning on it Imma try it.

I struggle with this question I am a believer and my first partner by marriage was not. My second partner by marriage also was not a believer. My partner died 6 years ago. My struggle is I have renewed my faith and don't want to transgress God's law. Do I need to not ever marry a believing person until my vows to first partner are completed by death . Can you suggest verse?
I would say if your most recent spouse passed away you are free to remarry. That's my best application of Scripture but you should study that topic yourself to see what you feel about it
@Look 2 the Word The Truth is remarriage to another person while the first wife or first husband is still alive is considered adultery, so if your first lawful husband is still alive, regardless of whether he is a believer or not, you should remain single. The only thing that can break a marriage union which is a covenant is death.

I'm glad to see that you are a believer now, and my advice for you is to stay single or, if possible, reconcile with your first husband. The will of God is for you to make heaven and not live the lifestyle of an adulterer. Adultery via remarriage leads to hell.

It is difficult specially as a disabled man that does not get out much or drive. I have been doing online dating for a number of years, and I have yielded few results. I have asked out women in public however I think dating in this century is difficult online or offline. You have women playing mind games, a possibility of being killed or raped, people these days are selfish and they are usually not thinking about other people. I watched a video where there was a group of women that were giving what they thought to be good dating advice, and the number one reason that Christian men do not get dates( by their standards is because they are boring) how selfish. Then theres women that are just money hungry or just want attention. Why should the ball always be in the woman's court? I have spent years trying to improve myself so I could attract a woman, and ill pursue women like God would have me to do, but I get the short end of the stick every time. Also there are women that enjoy being treated like garbage, and I refuse to treat a woman like that.
I can feel your pain and dissapointment , and i pray that the Good Lord Jesus comes to your rescue... pls read philippians 4:6 ..this verse answer every doubt in me , and it reminds me that God is always available to listen to our needs .... i pray God blesses you with a decent partner

I feel for you brother... when I got save, I guess I became boring...when I was running with the devil I always had a relationship with a woman... I know the relationships were not healthy and often became toxic!!!! I am not a bad looking man!!! It tuff to find a person who will love you for who you are.... Like Jesus!!! unfortunately we live in a world without love, hope and forgiveness we all need.... I pray for the whole world....
