Theres an excellent Japanese restaurant (Yurakuen) at the Diamond Hotel in Manila. Stayed there while our Kapa Haka group were performing at the different universities around Luzon and an ethnic dance festival which was opened at Philippines Women University and closed at the PCC. There was another restaurant i enjoyed at Tagaytay. The dining area of the restaurant is on a balcony on the side of a cliff overlooking the Taal volcano, such precious memories ❤

Yup it's 5,500 pesos per person but as far as fine dining goes they're pretty good value!
