To your Instagram point - how about geo targeted ads? Seems like you were talking about organic posting vs. paid geotargeted ads. Any thoughts on that strategy?
Hi Adam, I enjoy your content and the effort you put into your videos! I noticed that the 2023 marketing video is quite similar to the 2024 one. While it's great material, adding some fresh perspectives or new elements could help keep your audience more engaged. Just a thought from a fan who appreciates your work. Keep it up!
Hi Claudia. I appreciate your support! So happy to hear that you continue to enjoy our content. I noticed that you use your POS online ordering system for both locations. I typically recommend that restaurant have a direct ordering platform that is on the same domain as their website. The reason for this is because there are SEO benefits when people make purchases on that domain which can do wonders for your organic search rank. I would also suggest adding another keyword for pupusas since those get mentioned frequently in your reviews and are popular dishes in your cuisine type. Try “best pupusas in McAllen” and “best pupusas in Pharr.”
Interesting video but I don’t really agree with the social media part… We create a type of content for our restaurants we manage in a way that it’s a discovery finding a hidden gem in the area the restaurant is located. We target local pages like influencers of food pages and let them post about the restaurant. Also a combo Instagram and Tiktok has changed a small restaurant from being small to now having over 55% of all customers come directly from social media and between 300-500 customers daily. But I hear what you say and understand completely what you say, I think a mix between both is the best I would say.
Hi Adam, Our restaurant name is Tio's Cafe. We are on Simi Valley, CA we serve Breakfast , lunch and dinner. I created the restaurant my website, after the pandemic there is not much money, but I know it is very important!
Hey Claudia! It looks like your website must not be linked to your Google listing or you have your Google My Business listing linked to your website button. If you want to reply with your restaurant’s domain, I can take a look that way!
I've just bought shares in a 'relatively' successful restaurant that has been in business for 6 months. We're not at a stage where we're taking online orders yet, but one of our marketing goals is to get online bookings, obviously. I'm in charge of marketing and this video has been extremely insightful. Thanks!
True but he did an amazing job at creating this video. So much value. For free! It’s worth it and not easy to find this much value in such a great package.
Hey Adam, thanks for all the great feedback. I am a restaurant owner in Nusa Penida, Bali. My restaurant is The Rich Penida, serving international cuisine with a very diverse menu. From Asian foods to western.
Hey there! I found your Google listing and clicked on the website button, but noticed that it took me to an Instagram page. I would recommend creating a website and attaching it to your Google listing because websites are a great way for you to build a brand and win over new customers. Websites are also one of the best places for you to implement SEO strategies that will help you become more visible online and get in front of the eyes of more people who are looking for what you offer! If you already have a website, I recommend attaching it to your Google listing to ensure that your website is being associated with your restaurant. Thank you for commenting!
If you'd like me and my team to research your restaurant and send you ideas for how you could grow your marketing, please list the name and location below and we'll reach out!
Hey there! Thank you for commenting. Your website and online ordering platform are already integrated under the same domain, but creating individual item pages could really boost your SEO and give you greater visibility when people are searching for the kinds of dishes you offer in New Haven or Shelton. You have a high rating of 4.6 on Google reviews for your Shelton location, which is great! However, you only have 66 reviews. What this means is that the 4.6 average doesn't have a lot of credibility. A great way to standout and build your SEO is to have a lot of great reviews that back up the high rating. Encourage your customers to leave reviews and mention the items they tried. Since "cachapas" and "arepas" are frequently mentioned and popular among your customers, consider using these as primary keywords in your online content. Phrases like "best arepas in New Haven" and "best cachapas in Shelton" can help attract more customers searching for these dishes in your area. If you want more tailored advice for your restaurant or want to see how you can implement these strategies, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website, Owner.com. We also have a bunch of content already uploaded that you may find helpful so feel free to check those out too!
Hey Micah! Thank you for dropping a comment. I clicked onto your website and I’m seeing that there is a lot of text for me to read through but not a lot of photos that show me what I can expect from your business. I always recommend that restaurant owners make photos of their food a primary component of their main landing page because most website visitors will click away from a website within a few seconds if they are met with a lot of text. The same is true for any online menu. Adding photos of the food items makes it a lot more likely that the website visitor will feel tempted to either place an order or come visit your restaurant in person. Photos of food goes a very long way in driving sales! I would also recommend adding keywords to your website that will help you appeal to local searches and reflect popular dishes within your cuisine type. Try “best pub in Newark” or “best fish and chips in Newark.” Thanks again for commenting and feel free to check out the other content we have available in this channel if you liked this video.
Hey there! I have some familiarity with Torchy’s. I believe the franchisees use a corporate website at all the locations with a bit of limitation in terms of what you can edit on that site for your specific location. Do you know how much flexibility you have with your website? I can provide more actionable feedback knowing what you can and cannot change yourself. I did look for Torchy’s Tacos in Nashville and I’m not seeing a Google listing. Do you have one yet?
Hey there! Thank you for commenting. You already have photos on your main landing page which is a great start. I would recommend having photos appear first so that it’s the very first thing that someone sees when they arrive on your website. The reason for this is because people are not likely to continue engaging with a website when they’re presented with text, but photos of food can do wonders in capturing someone’s attention and encouraging them to continue scrolling. I also noticed that you offer online ordering, but when I clicked on your online ordering button, it took me to a different page. I typically recommend that restaurants attach their online ordering platform to the same domain as their primary website because search engine algorithms love to recommend restaurants in search results that they know will lead to a paying customer. When you have a detached online ordering platform, you were not being credited with the online transactions you are receiving and your SEO isn’t seeing the benefit of online sales. I hope this helps!
Hello! I looked at your Google listing and it seems like you do not have a website. If you do have a website, be sure to attach it to your Google listing in order to build your SEO. If you don’t have a website, I would recommend that you create one. Keep in mind a few things when creating a website for a restaurant: include high-quality photos of popular menu items on the main landing page, if you offer online ordering then have your online ordering platform attached to your website domain, and be sure to use keywords that are relevant to your area and cuisine type. If you create a website and want me to review it, feel free to comment again and I’ll take a look!
Hey there! I’m seeing several location on Google when I search for “Salt Indian Restaurant in Bangalore.” Do you own one specifically or are all of the locations yours?
This is awesome Adam, so much useful info. Gerringong Pizza in Gerringong, New South Wales (Australia). In the process of getting good photos to put our menu on the website with photos, with dedicated pages for each item.
Hey Calvin! It looks like you’ve implemented several SEO strategies to your website already. That’s awesome! I did a quick search of the other pizza places in your area. It looks like there’s a great opportunity for you to stand out from the rest by simply building credibility with your community in a way that nearby restaurants have not. If someone sees 10 pizza places in their search results when they search for “best pizza in Gerringong” and they all look pretty similar, then it can be the little details that make the difference and who they decide to click on. I would recommend maintaining a rating over 4.0 and to build up your quantity of reviews by encouraging customers to leave a review on Google and mention their favorite dishes in the written section. The other restaurants in your area have anywhere from 50-250 reviews so being the one restaurant in the search results that has far more is going to make your pizza spot more likely to draw the attention of potential customers. Hope this helps!
Hi Alexander! Something I noticed on your main landing page is that there isn’t a clear image of your food items. Putting a high-quality photo as one of the first things that someone sees when they visit your website will help you get their interest and encourage them to keep scrolling instead of clicking away from your website. Add keywords to help you with search rank as well. Try “best sushi in Lima.” I did a quick search into the other sushi restaurants in your area that are appearing in top results on Google. Most of the results include restaurants with several hundred to thousands of reviews. I would recommend encouraging your customers to leave reviews and mention the dishes that they tried in the written section to help you better compete with local restaurants. Thank you for watching this video and I hope this helps!
Hi Adam, I opened my resturant at 22 years old and have now been open for a year. The resturant is called Juice pub and eatery in Flagstaff AZ. Im hoping to improve the searchablity in the winter months when tourism slows down. Managing is more my specialty and this year Im hoping to grow my marketing skills.
Hey Christa! Love to hear that you’re working on expanding your skill set. I’m happy to provide some feedback. The first thing I see when I visit your restaurant’s website is that I have to read through a lot of text right away. Putting text in front of website visitors can actually hurt your conversion rate and deter people from engaging with your brand. People are looking for quick and easy answers about what they can expect from your restaurant when they visit your site so I always recommend that restaurant websites have a focus on images of popular menu items and limit the amount of text. Photos entice website visitors in a more effective way than text so a change like this could really improve your conversion and how people interact with you online. Take a look at talkintacos.net to get an idea of how you could do this! I also noticed that your online ordering platform is detached from your website. I recommend having OLO that is on the same domain as your website. Detached domains mean that search engines are perceiving people going to and using your online ordering platform as them simply clicking away from your restaurant which can hurt your SEO. Thank you for watching! Hope this is helpful for you.
Hey there! I would recommend making photos of your popular dishes more of a focus on your website. People are likely to make a decision on whether or not they are interested in a restaurant within the first few seconds that they are visiting your website. The best way to capture someone’s attention is to put photos of food right in front of them. This entices people to be curious and continue scrolling. Add keywords to your site like “ best Italian food in London” to help you reflect popular searches nearby. I searched for your competitors in the area and the top results on Google have thousands of reviews. I would recommend increasing your number of reviews to better compete with surrounding Italian restaurants. Thank you for watching and taking a moment to comment. I hope this is helpful for you.
Hey there. I love to hear that you like our content! I looked at your restaurant website, and the first thing I noticed is that the homepage is pretty wordy and doesn’t include any photos of your food. I would definitely recommend taking high-quality photos of your dishes and making those the centerpiece of your website. The reason for this is because you want to capture attention quickly when someone first clicks onto your website. They are more likely to click away if they see a lot of words and are more likely to stay and continue scrolling if they see delicious food right in front of them. Try adding keywords like “best Turkish food in Maastricht” and “best meze in Maastricht” to help you increase SEO.
are you saying make a (non visible) page on the website named after the top selling menu items/top key phrases people search for on google regarding the type(s) of food sold by the restaurant? 12:01
Hello! We are currently only available in the U.S. We have a ton of content uploaded on this channel if you're interested in resources to help you improve your restaurant marketing and online strategy. Feel free to check those out!
Hey there! Happy to take a look at Goat & Ram. One of the first things I noticed when I first found your restaurant on Google is that you have an awesome average rating but not a lot of reviews to give that rating credibility. I did a quick search for pizza places in Mesa and the top results all include restaurants that have a high rating and have several hundred to thousands of reviews online. In order to compete with these restaurants, I would recommend increasing your number of reviews. I also noticed that you have a way for customers to order online, but there is no online order platform linked to your website. I would recommend adding another landing page to your website where people can order from because this could really boost your SEO and online visibility. Search engines love to see that people spend money on a specific website and are more likely to recommend you in results if this is true for your restaurant. We do a lot of this for other pizza restaurants using the Owner.com platform. If you’re interested in seeing how this could possibly work for you too, then feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website!
Hi Alex! I took a look at your website and online ordering platform. I would recommend adding photos of your menu items to your online ordering platform because putting photos of your food right in front of people can do wonders in enticing hesitant customers to place an order and encourage people to add more items to their ticket than they originally planned. I would also recommend adding keywords to your website that will help you reflect searches that are relevant to you in Laredo. For your restaurant that could be keywords like” best live music in Laredo” or “best tacos in Laredo.” If you’re interested in seeing how our platform does all of this for other restaurants, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com!
Hello! Restaurant marketing for food trucks may change a bit if your food truck is mobile since a stable location is needed for your Google listing which is a foundational piece of your online presence. Fixes food trucks tend to align with similar marketing strategy as brick and mortar restaurants.
Hey Khang! Thank you for commenting. I did a bit of research on your restaurant and website. One of the things I would recommend is that you add more photos of your popular menu items to your main landing page as one of the first things that someone will see when they visit your site. As it stands right now, you have a lot of text for people to read through in order to learn about your restaurant. I typically recommend that restaurant owners avoid putting a lot of text in front of their online visitors because it can actually deter people from wanting to engage with your site further because reading text is considered “high effort.” Putting photos of food in front of people will not only entice them and let them see the food that they would miss out on if they didn’t choose your restaurant, but it also can really help you with increasing your SEO and how much people are engaging with you online. A great way to use text on your website is through keywords. Keywords for your restaurant could be “best cornbread in Portland” and “best seafood boil in Portland.” Thank you for watching!
Great video with tons of knowledge. We would be interested to hear more about your company and offerings to see if you can help us grow sales and reach
Hey there. I'm elated to hear that you're interested in our platform! Feel free to head to our website at Owner.com and sign up for a free demo. Someone on our team will reach out.
Hey Kyle! Glad to hear that the content in this video was helpful! I took a look at your website and I noticed that the first thing I see when I’m on your website is a carousel of photos with text overlay. Following that is some text about your restaurant. I would recommend moving some of the high-quality images of food that you already have on your website a bit further up to be more of a focus point when someone first enters your website. Typically, someone will decide whether or not they want to continue scrolling on the restaurant website within the first few seconds and the best way to get someone’s attention is to show them food that they would miss out on if they didn’t. I noticed that you have a trifecta concept attached to your brand. However, in order to increase your search visibility I would recommend highlighting keywords that most reflect what you offer. Try keywords like “best steaks in Virginia Beach” or “best cocktails in Virginia Beach.” Both of these reflect the fine dining aspect of your restaurant and the laid-back lounge side of it too.
In social media, specific location range can setup in payment ads. And social media files appear in google map too. Also business owner should focus on google map and request customer to review in google map. That will help to attract customers
Hey Sydney! The first thing I noticed is that you have a 4.7 average rating but not a lot of reviews to give that high rating credibility. I would recommend increasing your number of reviews because not only will this help you better compete with other restaurants in your area, but will also make you stand out in local search results. I see that you also offer online ordering. When I clicked on the “order online” button, it took me to a platform that is detached from your main website. I typically recommend that restaurants have an online ordering platform that is on the same website domain as your main site. The reason for this is that you want all of your online transactions to be credited to your restaurant domain because this can do wonders for your SEO. If you’re interested in seeing how we approach online marketing strategy for restaurants like yours, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com. Otherwise, we have a lot of great content on this channel that you may like if you enjoyed this video!
Hi Adam, our restaurant is called Restaurante Califórnia, a traditional Portuguese restaurant in Parede, Cascais in Portugal! We would love to know what we could do to improve our website and searchability. And awesome video, loved it!!
Hello! Thank you for commenting. The first thing I would recommend is to reconfigure your main landing page so that your website has a focus on high quality images of menu items instead of text. High quality images do a much better job of converting online traffic into customers and keeping people engaged once they land on your website. Take a look at a website like talkintacos.net to get an idea of what this could look like for you. I also recommend increasing your average rating and number of reviews. I did a quick search of your local competitors and it looks like the top ranking search results in Cascáis all have a 4.6 average rating or more and over 2k reviews. Increasing these for your restaurant will help you better compete with the current top search results and set up a strong first impression when people find you online. I appreciate your interest in what we do here at Owner! Our platform is currently only available in the United States but we consistently post content on this channel that you may find helpful as you navigate restaurant marketing.
Hey Adam, for creating a page per menu item, can this be done if I'm using TOAST for online pickup ordering but Spothopper for Website Design? Do the new pages need to be done on the TOAST ordering page? Is that even possible? or is it better to have a web page on our own site and then the listing page links to the Ordering Page? Thank you!
Hey there! Each company will have their way of setting things up for you. I just posted a video comparing Toast and Owner.com. Feel free to check that out!
Hey there! Thank you for taking a second to comment. I would recommend adding keywords to your website. Try “best Indian food in Dublin” or “best butter chicken in Dublin.” These not only reflect your area but also popular search words for your cuisine type. Adding keywords will help you better appeal to the search algorithms and appear on top search results nearby. I noticed that you have an online menu as well 8 always recommend that restaurant owners add high quality images of their food to any online menus or online ordering platforms. Photos have a great effect on conversion rates and on your ability to upsell someone’s order. I hope this is helpful for you and thanks again for watching!
Hello! I’d be happy to take a look. I found your restaurant on Google and the first thing I’m noticing is that you have a 3.8 average rating. Your cuisine type is pretty competitive, especially in cities like San Diego so I would recommend increasing your average to above a 4.0 in order to better compete with local competitors. People like to be sure that they are going to receive good service and delicious food if they choose to go to a restaurant and reviews are one of the ways that they will determine if this is something that you can offer. Raising your number of reviews will help you increase your credibility with the San Diego community. I also recommend including images of menu items on your online ordering platforms and virtual menus. The reason for this is that it will help you entice website visitors to want to eat the delicious food that they are seeing leading to a higher conversion rate of online traffic to buying customers. Thank you for commenting. I hope this helps! If you’re interested in seeing how the owner platform does all of this for other restaurants in your cuisine type feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.
Hello Eduard! I noticed that your online ordering platform doesn't include any photos of your food. Having high quality photos can entice a hesitant customer to place an order or add items to their order that they didn't originally plan to get. Emphasize your popular dishes such as Chicken Shawarma and Lamb Kebab through keywords. Try keywords like "best shawarma in Woodridge" or "best kabobs in Woodridge" on your website and Google My Business listing to attract more customers searching for these popular Mediterranean dishes. Given your high rating, encourage your satisfied customers to share their experiences through Google reviews. This will not only boost your online presence but also attract new customers that are looking for a reputable Mediterranean cuisine restaurant in their area. If you're looking for more specific advice or want to see how we implement these strategies with thousands of restaurants, feel free to check out our website and sign up for a free demo. We'd love to chat!
Hey there! Thank you for watching. I’m glad you’re enjoying our content! The first thing I noticed when I clicked onto your website is that you have a lot of text on your main landing page but no photos that show me what you offer. Typically people are looking for quick answers about what you offer when they are visiting a restaurant website. I always recommend that restaurants put high-quality images of their popular dishes on their main landing page to help increase online traffic conversion and encourage people to engage with the website further. People are a lot more likely to click away when they are presented with a lot of text. I’m also seeing that your online ordering platform is attached to a different domain than your website. This means that you are not seeing the benefit of having people spend money at your restaurant through your online ordering platform. I would recommend getting an online ordering option that is connected directly to your domain to help you increase your SEO. Thanks again for watching and I hope this helps. If you’re interested in seeing how we do this for other restaurants in your cuisine type, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.
Hey there! There are lots of AI resources online. Getting familiar with ChatGPT could be a good place to start if you’re brand new to AI. There is tons that you can do with it!
Hey there! It looks like you don’t have a website. I would recommend creating a website because they are a very important tool in order to build your online brand and attract new customers online. A strong website can make a huge difference in your SEO. When you create your website, be sure to make photos the centerpiece of the main landing page and limit the amount of text you are showing your customers first thing. Be sure to also attach your website to your Google listing!
Hey Cyrus! I noticed that your website includes a lot of text in order to get a message across about what you offer. I would recommend limiting the amount of tech that you were presenting your website visitors with and instead making photos the highlight of your site. The reason for this is that text is a lot less likely to capture the attention of someone who is visiting your website and can actually deter them from engaging with your brand. Reading through text is considered a high effort activity for consumers but photos are an easy way to show up what you offer and give them insight into your restaurant without them having to use brain power to figure that information out themselves. Photos can really make a difference for conversion rate. Nothing wins people over more than seeing food and drink right in front of them that they will miss out on if they don’t choose your restaurant! Adding text to your website should be intentional. Try using keywords such as “best beer in Petaluma,” “best chicken sandwich in Petaluma,” and “best ribs in Petaluma” as they both reflect popular offerings at your restaurant and common searches in your area. These can help you improve your search visibility. Thank you for watching!
Hey Ryan! Thank you for watching and commenting. I’d be happy to take a look at your restaurant! I noticed that your website first greets website visitors with a lot of text followed by photos of drinks. I would recommend making photos of your popular food items a focus on your main landing page. The reason for this is that people are often looking for quick answers to their question when they visit a website: what can I expect from the food this restaurant offers? People often click away if they are met with a lot of text so making the switch to a more photo-centric main page can help you keep the attention of your website visitors and convert them at a higher rate. I also noticed that your online ordering platform is on a different domain than your website. This means that you are not seeing the SEO benefits that come with people spending money online at your restaurant. I recommend attaching your online ordering to the same domain; so in your case this could be something like “comotruckee.com/order”
Hey Brandon! Thank you for watching and supporting our channel. I’d recommend adding keywords to your website to help you appeal to local searches that are relevant to what you offer. Try “best wings in Conyers.” This will help Google recommend you when people search for wings in your city. I noticed that you have online ordering options but not one attached directly to your website. Having people buy your food through your website could be a huge way to improve your search visibility and gain online traction. Wings tend to be popular online so this could be a great investment for you to boost your marketing strategy. Thanks again for commenting!
Hey there! The first thing I see when I visit your website is a lot of text. Typically, I recommend that restaurants include high-quality images of their popular items as one of the first things that someone will see when they visit your website. There’s a bit of a science behind putting images in front of people will make them more likely to want to engage with your restaurant online. Nothing grabs someone’s attention more than photos of delicious food! I would also recommend adding keywords to your website that reflect what you offer. For you this could be something like “best steakhouse in Derry,” best pub in Derry,” or “best beer in Derry.” I think keywords like this on your website will help you appeal to local searches and increase your search visibility. I appreciate you taking time to watch our video and comment. There is a lot of content already uploaded on this channel that you may be interested in if you liked this video. Feel free to check those out!

Hi Adam, our restaurant and attraction is called The Playlist, serving italian cuisine and we have performing servers, in Chattanooga, TN. We would love to know what we could do to improve our website and searchabilty.
Hi again, lily! I ran The Playlist through our free Restaurant Grader tool at Grader.Owner.com It looks like you’ve got a 50/100 overall website health score, and only a 13/40 on Google SEO. Your restaurant’s website has some key errors that impact your ability to rank on Google. I put together a full report for you here with the issues, and what you can do to fix it: grader.owner.com/t78lOjXKaJII/report?name=The+Playlist&city=Chattanooga
Hello! Thank you for commenting. The first thing I looked at is your website and online ordering platform. I’m noticing that your online ordering platform is on a different domain than your website. This means that the SEO benefits that you would typically see with people purchasing from you online is not being credited to your restaurant because your online sales are not associated with your restaurant domain. I would recommend attaching your online ordering platform as a separate landing page to your current domain. Example: eltoromexicanrestauranttn.com/order I also typically recommend for restaurant owners to make photos of their popular dishes a primary focus point of their main landing page. The reason for this is because website visitors will make a decision on whether or not they are interested in what they are seeing within the first few seconds that they are visiting your website. The best way to get someone’s attention and increase your chances of them becoming a paying customer is to show them photos of food that they would be missing out on if they didn’t choose your restaurant. I appreciate you taking a moment to watch our video and comment. I hope this is helpful for you!
Hey there! I’m seeing both food truck and B&M locations listed. Is there a specific one you’d like me to look at or are you affiliated with all of them?
Hello Roman! I'd suggest adding photos of your dishes to your online menu. People are more likely to place an order or come in to the store when they see the food they would me missing out on if they don't. Adding photos could also increase your average ticket size! Try adding keywords to your website like "best English breakfast in Wakefield" or "best breakfast in Wakefield."
Hey Taylor! I took a look at your restaurant online and one of the first things I noticed was that there’s only one small picture on your main landing page on your website that shows the food that you offer. I would suggest adding more photos to your main landing page, because you only have a few seconds to catch the attention of whoever is visiting your website, and one of the best ways to do that is by showing them the food that they would miss out on if they didn’t keep scrolling. I also noticed that you have an online menu and a direct online ordering platform. Both of these do not have any pictures of your food items. I always recommend that restaurants include high-quality photos of their food on the menu because it entices people to place an order if they were hesitant before or encourage them to select additional items because they were tempted when they saw those photos right in front of them. While you do have a gallery page, you want a lot of these pictures to be on the online ordering platform because it’s easier for them to give into the temptation they feel when looking at pictures of your food since they are already on the page where they can place an order. Your online ordering platform is also on a different domain than your website. I would definitely recommend putting your online ordering platform on the same domain that way all of the traffic and the orders that come through this online ordering platform can contribute to your SEO. Right now you aren’t seeing the SEO benefits because it’s on a different domain . If you want more advice on how you can optimize your website or if you want to see how our platform does all of this for you feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com. We’d be happy to chat.
Hello! I clicked onto your website and the first thing I’m seeing is that I am greeted with a lot of text. I can’t tell what you offer based on just a quick glance at your website. People who are visiting restaurant websites are usually looking for quick answers about what a restaurant offers and text will likely make them turn away instead of stay engaged. I recommend putting high-quality images of your food items on your main landing page and making those the focus. This will help you not only give website visitors quick answers but also will help you entice potential customers with photos of delicious food that they’d miss out on if they didn’t choose to visit your restaurant. This small change can really help you with your online conversion rates! Try adding keywords to your website like “best seafood in Valletta” or “best oysters in Valletta.” These will help you appeal to searches based on your city and popular dishes within your cuisine type. Hope this helps! Please feel free to watch our other content if you’d like this video. There’s even more content on the way as well!
Hi Adam, we recently just opened our second location of MeYou Thai in Las Vegas, Nevada. We would love to get insight on how to improve our outreach to the community and drive customers in. Thank you!
Hey Steven. Congrats on opening up a second location! One of the things I always recommend for newer restaurants is to start encouraging customers to leave reviews in your Google listing to help you quickly build online credibility and help your restaurant stack up against the other options that will be showing up alongside yours in search results. Your average rating is great but building the number of reviews behind that average would be a great step! Try using keywords in your website that help you appeal to local searches that are relevant to what you offer. Try “best Thai food in Las Vegas,” “best pad thai in Las Vegas,” and “best drunken noodles in Las Vegas.” Thank you for watching and good luck as you continue building up business at MeYou Thai! If you’re interested in how we cover marketing strategy for other Thai places like yours, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.
Hello! Thank you for watching and taking a moment to comment. Based on what I see on your website, it looks like there are two locations. I would recommend having two separate landing pages for each location so that you can build SEO that is specific to each city and have city-specific keywords. This could really boost each location’s search rank and visibility. Try using keywords that reflect cuisine type and popular mentions in your reviews. “Best Indian food in Arlington” and “best happy hour in Arlington.” Same for the Alexandria location.
Hi Sirlene! I noticed that your Google listing does not show a website for your restaurant. I would recommend creating a website because they are very important in increasing brand awareness , SEO, and converting online visitors into paying customers. I would recommend using keyword on your website to help you with search visibility. Try “best Mexican food in Kokomo” and “ best tacos in Kokomo.” Both of these reflect popular searches in your cuisine type and area. Thank you for watching our video. I hope this is helpful for you and feel free to keep an eye out for our new content. If you’re interested in how our platform does all of this for other Mexican restaurants then sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.
Hey there! Thank you for commenting. Try using keywords like “best Chinese food in Scarborough” and “best cocktails in Scarborough.” Both of these are popular searches in your area and relate to what you offer which will help you boost your search visibility.
Thank you! Happy to hear that you liked the video. I found your website and it looks like you don’t show any photos of the food you offer on your main landing page. I always suggest that restaurants have high-quality images of their most popular items located at the very front of your website because it’s one of the best ways for you to get someone’s attention and entice them to keep scrolling. Your cuisine is also pretty competitive in your area so I did a search of local competitors and how they stack up in local search results compared to your restaurant. When people are seeing you in search results, it’s easy for every restaurant to look the same as they scroll through the list. An easy way for you to stand out against your competitors is actually to give your restaurant more credibility through reviews. Encourage your customers to leave reviews on your Google listing and mention the dishes they tried in the written section. This will not only help you increase your search visibility, but will also help you stand out amongst the other options when people find you online. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to sign up for a free demo on the Owner.com website if you’re interested in seeing how we do this for other Italian restaurants in your area. Otherwise we have a lot of great content coming out on this channel soon with even more free restaurant marketing insight!
Redwood Smoke Shack Texas inspired bbq in Norfolk and Virginia Beach Virginia. I would love to have you give me some tips. I love the content, keep it coming
Hey Robert! I saw that you have your website online ordering connected to your POS ordering platform. Due to your website and POS online ordering being on two different domains, you're not seeing the SEO benefit from having people spend money at your restaurant through online ordering. Having online ordering attached to the same domain could do wonders for online visibility. I'd also suggest adding keywords that reflect what is popular in your cuisine type and your restaurant. Try "best brisket in Norfolk" or "best burnt ends in Norfolk." Same for the Virginia Beach location but swap out the cities. If you want more tailored advice for your restaurant or want to see how you can implement these strategies, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website, Owner.com. We also have a bunch of content already uploaded that you may find helpful so feel free to check those out too!
Hey! So glad to hear that you’re loving the content. We’ve got a lot more on the way! I would recommend adding keywords to your website to help you with search ranking. Try keywords that reflect popular dishes and your restaurant type. For you that could be “best pizza in Richmond” or “best beer in Richmond.” This will help you get picked up by the algorithm when people search for things that are relevant to your restaurant. When I search for “best brewery in Richmond,” all of the top results have a couple hundred reviews and your average rating competes well with them. One of the big things you can do to help you stand out from the rest as your search rank improves is to have more credibility than the competitors that people will see alongside yours. People want to know that they are going to have a good experience, drink good beer, and eat good food when they visit your restaurant. One of the ways they determine this is by looking at the reviews. A 4.7 average is more impactful with 1k reviews than 200. I would recommend encouraging your customers to leave reviews on Google and include dishes that they tried in the written section. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’d be happy to take a look at Thai Star for you! I clicked onto your website and the first thing that I see is a lot of text. I would recommend making your main landing page more image focused. Add high-quality photos of popular items so that this is the first thing people see when they click on your website as this can really improve the way website visitors engage with your brand and increase your online conversion rates. I would also recommend using keywords on your website such as “best Thai food in Addison” and “best pad thai in Addison.” Both of these reflect your cuisine type and a popular item. Hopefully this is helpful for you and if you’re interested in seeing how we do this for other restaurants in your cuisine type, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.
Hey Charbel, can I get your email address or any contact information? I run a small agency that helps restaurants focus on more important things of the business while we take care of their marketing and social media presence. Our efforts have proven to increase revenue for our customers. If you would like to know more, I am more than happy to chat.
Hello Charbel. I'm glad you took away some learnings from this video! I searched for your restaurant and it looks like you don't have a website. I would suggest creating one because a website is one of the best ways to improve your online presence, show off your brand, and compete with restaurants in your area! Add keywords to your site like "best Middle Eastern food in Cambridge" and "best falafel in Cambridge."
Hi Adam, our restaurant is called Irving Street Tapas, a Spanish Tapas Restaurant & Bar on 13th Avenue Portland ! Would love to know what we can do to improve our website and searchability
Hello! Thank you for commenting. I took a look through your website and one of the first things I’m seeing is that there are no photos of your food on your main landing page. I always recommend that restaurant owners focus less on text and instead show their website visitors photos of their popular menu items. This is because photos do a great job of enticing people with visuals of all the delicious food you offer and captures their interest quickly. On the other hand, text will actually deter people from wanting to engage with your website because most will not want to read through several lines of text. Photos will answer your website visitor’s questions about what they can expect from your restaurant without them having to use much mental energy the way text does. This can do wonders in increasing the amount of time people spend engaging with your website which increases your search visibility. Pictures also help with conversion rate because nothing entices people more than seeing the food that they would miss out on right in front of them if they didn’t choose your restaurant. Try using text for keywords on your site like “best tapas in Portland” and “best steak in Portland.” Thanks again for watching. I have a ton of content already uploaded if you want to check those out too. Even more on the way!
Thank you for the video. This is really informative. I really enjoy the video and also Hi Adam, my restaurant is called Rose Garden Thai Cuisine in Murrieta, CA! Would love to know what we could do to impove my website and searchability.
Hey Paul! The very first thing I noticed when I visit your website is that you are redirecting your online ordering traffic to third-party platforms. I would recommend implementing your own direct online ordering platform in order to not only save money for both you and the customer but also having online orders processed through your website can help you boost your visibility. Search algorithms love to recommend restaurants to people that they know will result in a paid transaction. I would also recommend using keywords on your website to help you appeal to local searches. Try keywords such as “best Thai food in Murrieta” or “best Pad Thai in Murrieta.” If you’re interested in seeing how we cover things like this and other SEO strategies for restaurants, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.
Thank you, Jeff! I did a quick search of your Tex Mex competitors nearby and it looks like the top ranking restaurants in your area all have over a thousand reviews to several thousand. recommended increasing your number of reviews to not only better compete with the restaurants that are ranking at the top for TexMex, but also to give your high rating more credibility with the people who find you online. I also noticed that your website recommends that people order through third-party apps if they want their food delivered. If you want delivery to be a big part of your business or if it already is, I would recommend offering a direct online ordering option for people who are looking to get food delivered through your website. This could not only save you and the customer a lot of money but also could really boost your SEO. Search engine algorithms love to see that people spend money on a particular website. Thank you for watching!
Hey Joshua! Thank you for commenting. It looks like the website button on your Google listing takes me directly to a page where I’m redirected to your online menu. I would recommend giving your main landing page a bit more purpose and adding high-quality images of your popular food items as one of the first things people will see when they click on your website. You only have a few seconds to show off what you offer before a website visitor will disengage and click away. Putting photos of food in front of them is one of the best ways to capture their interest. Use your website as a place to use keywords as well. Try “best bagels in Lincoln.“ Thank you so much for watching!
Hey there! I looked up your restaurant online and I noticed that you do not have a website. Having a website and attaching it to your Google listing is hugely important in building your SEO and in increasing awareness of your brand online. I suggest creating a website that gives people way to see what you offer and get a better understanding of what to expect if they were to go to your restaurant. Add high-quality images of your food items to your main landing page to entice people to continue scrolling. Use keywords on your site like “best Chinese food in Punjab Mohali” and “best chicken momos in Punjab Mohali.” Thank you for watching and taking time to comment. I hope this is helpful!
Hi adam, i want to market my restaurant i opened about 11 months ago, it had good sales during beggining but started to decline i dont know if its the season, customers seems happy with the food and everything but i want more traffic to the restaurant, need some advices
Hey there! I took a look at your website and it looks like your main landing page doesn’t include any photos of your menu items. The first few seconds that someone is on your website are vital to capturing someone’s attention. To keep people engaged and encourage them to keep their interest in your brand, I would recommend adding photos of your popular dishes to your main landing page. Photos of food can go along way for online conversion rates. I also noticed that I got a pop-up that advertised your happy hour to me after a few seconds of scrolling on your website. I would recommend using keywords that reflect your area and happy hour. Try adding “best happy hour in Miami” to your website. Thank you for commenting!
Hello Adam, our restaurant is Warriors Taphouse in Virginia Beach. I would love to get your thoughts on what we could do to improve our website and search ability. Thanks. Dave
Hey there Dave! I clicked on your website button and I’m getting an error message saying your website is blocked. Fixing this issue would be a great step one in getting your search visibility on track!
Hey Jack! While our platform isn’t available in NZ yet, I’d be happy to give you some insight based on what I see online for your restaurant. I clicked onto your website and noticed that your food isn’t the focal point of your main landing page. The first few seconds that someone visits your website are especially critical because they are going to make a decision on whether or not they want to continue scrolling in that time frame. I recommend that restaurants include high-quality images on their main landing page and make those the focal point that will entice people to continue scrolling and engage with your website. Visual aids of your menu items can do wonders in converting website visitors into paying customers. Thank you for supporting us all the way from New Zealand!
hey all, here's the platform I mentioned in the video. See how it works 👉 www.owner.com/demo?
Heaven Gates restaurant tunisia ( nabeul )
Liked the video but the volume of the music in the background was so distracting I turned it off half way through.
Thank you for the feedback, Laura. I'll keep that in mind for future videos!
Your videos are so well crafted, incredibly good information, easy to undestand and the editing is on point
Thank you! I love to hear that you enjoy our content. We have a lot of content already planned so stay tuned!
Adam is the real deal. I was sold the first time I talked to him regarding my restaurant.
Wow, thank you! I love what I get to do for restaurants so I’m glad you’ve had a great experience with us. I appreciate the support!
You earned my trust and follow.
Thank you for putting this out. Helpful!
Thank you for the support! More content on the way.
To your Instagram point - how about geo targeted ads? Seems like you were talking about organic posting vs. paid geotargeted ads. Any thoughts on that strategy?
my thoughts exactly.
Keep it up!
Love your content! El Itacate (Pharr and McAllen, TX)

Thanks!
Congrats on the new business venture. Wishing you luck!
the music bro...volume vs your speaking is distracting
Music volume needs to wayyy lower
Agree music loud and offputting
True but he did an amazing job at creating this video. So much value. For free! It’s worth it and not easy to find this much value in such a great package.
Yes but not so bad. I guess wearing headphones is better.

Hello!
I saw that there are three locations. Is there one in particular that you’d like me to look at or all three as a brand?
Somos Handcrafted Arepas in New Haven and Shelton CT. Thanks Adam !

The Willow Tree/ Newark- England
Great video look forward to hearing your recommendations!
Try “best pub in Newark” or “best fish and chips in Newark.”
Thanks again for commenting and feel free to check out the other content we have available in this channel if you liked this video.
Love all the info going to be doing a launch 4 Torchy taco in Nashville wanted to see your insight
Do you have one yet?
wow, I learn so much good info about how to gain more restaurant exposure from your videos! thanks for sharing!
Hey Jason! Thank you so much for your support. There is a lot more content on the way!
Adam is the real deal. I was one of his first customers and continue to work with his company.
Hey Adam, our restaurant is Nourish Wellness Cafe in Northampton, MA! Grateful for any insight, thank you!
Hey Adam just came across your video.
Great video by the way 👍 Learned a lot
'Al Afia Mandi' : Charminar, Hyderabad, India .

@@owner-com Hey, so this is a client we manage. All the locations are managed by us.
The Taco Man Taqueria , in upland , Ca. Would really appreciate a review
Thank you! 🙌
Asu Maki, Lima, Peru.
Try “best sushi in Lima.”
I did a quick search into the other sushi restaurants in your area that are appearing in top results on Google.
Amazing content!! Caldesi in Marylebone, Belsize and Campagna - UK. Thank you!!
Thanks from France
Thank you for watching!

Amazing content, thank you!
Restaurant mandalin, Maastricht the Netherlands
Great video. Subd. I’m gonna focus on google seo for sure!
Awesome! Happy to hear that you liked this video. Lots more on the way!
what do you mean by ‘creating pages’. how do you dot that? 10:25

hi dear, is the platform available in Germany?

fantastic insight. greatly appreciated! pizza restaurant, Goat and Ram - Mesa, AZ
Thank you Adam for all of your insight!
Cosmos Bar & Grill
Laredo, TX
For your restaurant that could be keywords like” best live music in Laredo” or “best tacos in Laredo.”
If you’re interested in seeing how our platform does all of this for other restaurants, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com!
another good idea for anybody looking to start a restaurant business.serve beautiful and delicious food and drink.it's better for business!
Great food and drink go a long way!
Can these same tips be used for a food truck business?
Hello!
Restaurant marketing for food trucks may change a bit if your food truck is mobile since a stable location is needed for your Google listing which is a foundational piece of your online presence. Fixes food trucks tend to align with similar marketing strategy as brick and mortar restaurants.
Hi Adam. My restaurant is My Brother's Crawfish. Portland Oregon. I need to learn this!
Keywords for your restaurant could be “best cornbread in Portland” and “best seafood boil in Portland.”
Thank you for watching!

PRIME 54 chophouse and lounge
Virginia Beach
QC Market, Beach Haven NJ. Thank you!

Hi Adam, our restaurant is called Restaurante Califórnia, a traditional Portuguese restaurant in Parede, Cascais in Portugal! We would love to know what we could do to improve our website and searchability. And awesome video, loved it!!
By the way, because we’re a restaurant based in Portugal, can owner/ai work in Portuguese or only in English?
Amazing content! Spice Aroma in Ireland/Dublin
Hi Adam, restaurant is called Hasta Mañana Cantina, San Diego CA
Hi. Very good videos. Thanks.
Ed’s kitchen in Woodridge IL

Awesome content. Hawk's Nest Restaurant Hamilton Michigan

Hi, Adam our restraunt is called Shahi Roti in North Bay, Canada
Hey Adam! The restaurant is Brewsters Beer Garden, Petaluma, CA. Looking for more insights! Thanks!
Como, Truckee CA. Love this. Thank you 🙏
Hi! What do you do if you dont offer delivery?

C and C Wings and Grill in Conyers GA thanks man
Hey Brandon!
Having people buy your food through your website could
be a huge way to improve your search visibility and gain online traction. Wings tend to be popular online so this could be a great investment for you to boost your marketing strategy.
Thanks again for commenting!
Hi Adam,
Thanks for the vid.
The Bentley Bar in Derry, (restaurant/bar/steakhouse)

I ran The Playlist through our free Restaurant Grader tool at Grader.Owner.com
It looks like you’ve got a 50/100 overall website health score, and only a 13/40 on Google SEO. Your restaurant’s website has some key errors that impact your ability to rank on Google.
I put together a full report for you here with the issues, and what you can do to fix it:

El Toro Mexican Restaurant Murfreesboro, TN. I would love to hear about your recommendations!
Example: eltoromexicanrestauranttn.com/order
I also typically recommend for restaurant owners to make photos of their popular dishes a primary focus point of their main landing page.

How could i learn to do what you do for restuarands nearby
Great content Adam. Cafe Vie The Bistro, Ossett, Wakefield
Thanks
Hello Roman!
I'd suggest adding photos of your dishes to your online menu. People are more likely to place an order or come in to the store when they see the food they would me missing out on if they don't. Adding photos could also increase your average ticket size!
Try adding keywords to your website like "best English breakfast in Wakefield" or "best breakfast in Wakefield."
Love your videos! The coal bunker in Fallbrook,ca

Hey Christopher!
I’m not seeing a website attached to your Google listing. Do you have one?
Palazzo Preca restaurant would love to learn more
Try “best Thai food in Las Vegas,” “best pad thai in Las Vegas,” and “best drunken noodles in Las Vegas.”
Thank you for watching and good luck as you continue building up business at MeYou Thai! If you’re interested in how we cover marketing strategy for other Thai places like yours, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.

Spice Kraft
Arlington Va
Hello! Thank you for this video.
The Jungle Mexican Cantina, Kokomo Indiana

Try using keywords like “best Chinese food in Scarborough” and “best cocktails in Scarborough.” Both of these are popular searches in your area and relate to what you offer which will help you boost your search visibility.
Nice video! Piccolino Ristorante, Bayonne NJ
Staten Island NY
Loving this!!
Triple Crossing Beer, located in Richmond, VA
Thanks for your content Adam.

Hello!

Amazing Video!
Thai Star in Addison/Dallas, TX
Love the video, it was very informative and I learned a lot
Hi Adam, our restaurant is called Wrapro Falafel and Grille in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Try using text for keywords on your site like “best tapas in Portland” and “best steak in Portland.”
Thanks again for watching.
Try keywords such as “best Thai food in Murrieta” or “best Pad Thai in Murrieta.”
If you’re interested in seeing how we cover things like this and other SEO strategies for restaurants, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.
Great content! Tex Mex Smokehouse (Pearland, TX)
Loved it! We are Lincoln Bagel Co. In Lncoln, UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Try “best bagels in Lincoln.“
Thank you so much for watching!
Hi adam, our restaurant is callled tibetan bowl,a Chinese restaurant in punjab mohali
Use keywords on your site like “best Chinese food in Punjab Mohali” and “best chicken momos in Punjab Mohali.”
Thank you for watching and taking time to comment. I hope this is helpful!
Hi adam, i want to market my restaurant i opened about 11 months ago, it had good sales during beggining but started to decline i dont know if its the season, customers seems happy with the food and everything but i want more traffic to the restaurant, need some advices
Hey there! I’d be happy to provide some insight on ways to improve your online presence and sales. What is the name and location of your restaurant?
I love your videos, social 27- Miami Florida
Great video man. Not sure if you work with brands outside of US. Soy & Ginger Auckland, New Zealand
