hey all, Talkin Tacos uses our platform to grow their online sales. It automates a lot of what you see in this vid. See exactly how our platform works 👉 www.owner.com/demo?
As a guy who owns a restaurant and bar marketing company and writes books on this exact subject, I was prepared for another "Rah Rah Social Media" video. I gotta say this info is spot-on and teaches sustainable methods that really work. Good job Adam, you nailed it!
Hey Erik! Thank you so much for the kind words. It can be hard to find quality marketing resources so I try my best to make content thats easy to digest with easily applicable strategies. I have a lot of content coming so feel free to check those out as they come. I appreciate the support!
Hey Adam, I just discovered you today and I'm so happy. I own two restaurant : Meylaw - Annemasse, France & Neji, Annemasse, France thanks to you I am installing an online ordering module this week in the first restaurant :')
I just discovered you about 10 minutes ago. I'm still watching the video (about to watch the #3 item on your list). Seriously... VERY informative and great value! You've earned a new subscriber here. Looking forward to seeing your other videos and implementing your ideas to my marketing! Thank you, sir!
Hi Adam, just discovered your video & channel about 15 minutes ago. Only halfway through the video and already saved it so I can reference it again and work on these things for our restaurant. Appreciate you and the info you're putting out there for other people in the restaurant industry!
Wow, this is awesome to hear! Thank you for the kind words. I have lots of other content already posted on here and even more on the way so feel free to check those out too if you liked this one!
Hi Adam, I enjoy your content and the effort you put into your videos! I noticed that the 2023 marketing video is quite similar to the 2024 one. While it's great material, adding some fresh perspectives or new elements could help keep your audience more engaged. Just a thought from a fan who appreciates your work. Keep it up!
Hey Bob. I'm elated to hear that you've joined the Owner platform! Thank you for putting your confidence in us. I'm excited to see how your restaurant grows on our platform!
Hi Adam, I’m so thankful to have found your channel! My wife and I are just starting to take over her family’s restaurants. We own Krispy Chicken and Yum Korea in Weston Florida. I’ll definitely be watching all of your videos and looking at your website in the near future! Would love to hear your feedback on our restaurants! Thanks for any feedback, and thank you for all the value provided in this video!
Hey Adam! Taking on restaurants is a huge task and I’m glad to hear that these videos are helping you and your wife! I did take a look at both of your restaurants and one thing that I noticed is you make photos a primary piece of your main landing page for Yum Korea but less so for Krispy Chicken. I would recommend making your Krispy Chicken website a bit more centered around photos and lessen the text pieces. The reason for this is that when someone visits your website, they are typically looking for quick answers about what your restaurant offers. If they are presented with a lot of text, they are more likely to click away than they are to become more interested in your restaurant. Instead, try mimicking your website at Yum Korea and make photos of your focal point at Krispy Chicken as well. This can do wonders in converting website traffic into paying customers. I also did some research on your local competitors, and I would recommend increasing your number of reviews at both locations to help you better compete with other restaurants that people are going to be comparing yours with in Weston. Encourage your customers to leave reviews on your Google listing and mention the dishes they tried in the written section. Good luck on this new chapter with your wife! Im starting managing now the restaurant in Brickell (305 peruvian) . The market is there but the restaurant is failing and never get so much costumer. Thanks for you video. Im seaching a good marketing tools that can help me to improve.
Hey! Thank you for commenting. It looks like you have a website, but it is not attached to your Google listing. I would suggest linking your website to your Google listing so that you get all of the SEO benefits. Right now you have six reviews and a 4.3 average. I would suggest working on increasing the quantity of reviews that you have on Google. When people are viewing restaurants online, they want to know that the restaurant they choose, has a high probability of being delicious and living up to their expectations. One of the biggest ways that people do this is by looking at how credible a high average rating is for a particular restaurant. A 4.3 with 300 reviews is going to be more impactful than a 4.3 with six reviews. You only have a few seconds to get someone’s attention when they click on your website, so make sure that you are putting high-quality photos of your food at the forefront of your website. This can entice people to continue scrolling and see the food they would miss out on if they did not eat at your restaurant.
Hello Mehdi! Thank you so much for the kind words. It makes me happy to know that our videos are helping restaurant owners thrive. Do you own a restaurant already or were you wanting to open one up?
Hey Saaya. Thanks for the comment! Love to hear that our videos are helpful for you. We have a bunch more videos coming with more tips so be sure to check those out as they come. What's the name of your restaurant and location? I'd be happy to give you more specific feedback.
I appreciate you saying that, Justin! Just reviewed your website and had the below tips for you: Best keywords for Melt Yard are going to be "best burger in Marietta", "tacos in Marietta", and "bar in Marietta". Looks like you're doing some of the basics on the website (like collecting emails), but I think you could really benefit from SEO to rank on Google. If you want my team to help you with that and your email marketing + online ordering, I recommend booking a demo at Owner.com
Hey Ryan. I’m stoked to have you joining our platform! Luckily, a lot of the major things we suggest for restaurants to do to improve their online marketing strategy is taken care of when you join our platform. You’ll see during onboarding and even afterwards with your restaurant success manager that we help you get set up with a optimized website, keywords, photos, etc. Something you can do in the restaurant is encourage customers to leave reviews on you Google listing and mention the dishes they ate. This helps with search visibility and keeping your average rating high will give you a better sense of credibility with people who find you online.
Hey Daren! I saw that you have your website online ordering connected to your POS ordering platform. Due to your website and POS online ordering being on two different domains, you're not seeing the SEO benefit from having people spend money at your restaurant through online ordering. Having online ordering attached to the same domain could do wonders! I'd also recommend adding keywords that appeal to popular dishes. Try "best poutine in Umatilla" or "best burgers in Umatilla." Thank you for supporting our channel and feel free to check out our website at Owner.com and sign up for a free demo! We'd love to give you more insight based on what we've seen work for other restaurant in your cuisine type.
Hi Randi! Thank you for watching. I appreciate the support immensely! I took a look at your website and online ordering platform. I saw that you do have photos on your main landing page, but none on your online ordering menu. Having high quality images on your online ordering can do wonders for converting site visitors into paying customers and can increase your average ticket size by enticing people with visual aids. Try adding keywords too. For Magnolia Room that could be "best Southern comfort food in Tucker," "best mac and cheese in Tucker," and "best catfish in Tucker." Feel free to sign up for a free demo on the Owner.com website if you're interested in seeing how we approach online strategy for thousands of other restaurants!
Really transparent information no need to search many things and also easy to understand for new marketing management as me thank you Adam for all the information.
Hey Muhammad! Absolutely love to hear that our content was easy to understand and is helping you out with your marketing management. We have a lot of new content coming soon so feel free to check those out as they publish! Do you own a restaurant or are you a marketing agency owner?
Hey Scott! Thank you for the kind comment. I'm glad to hear that our content had some useful tips for you. I searched up your restaurant and I noticed that you're using Skytab for online ordering and online ordering platform is attached to a different domain than your website. This means that when people click onto your online ordering and spend money on there, your restaurant domain and SEO aren't seeing the benefit of that. Keywords for you would be "best burgers in Plymouth," "best steak in Plymouth," and "best cocktails in Plymouth." If you want more help with your restaurant, feel free to check out some of our other videos or visit our website at Owner.com and sign up for a free demo of our platform meant to help restaurants like yours with these kinds of things.
Hi Adam! Thanks for the super helpful video! My family owns a small chain of restaurants- Diana's Mexican Food in Carson, Ca/Norwalk, Ca/ Gardena, Ca/ El Monte, Ca. I want to help them boost their online presence and generate more sales so we're going to try to start fresh with some ideas. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback on the existing content and pointers for where to go from here. Thanks again!
Hey Alma! Just seeing this. Really appreciate you commenting - actually know the brand Diana's and love it. I'm from SoCal and my mom Toni is good friends with Tensha Berry - who I assume is your aunt? Checked out the website and lots of thoughts come to mind around improving the SEO of the website, the conversion rate, and some of the strategies we've seen work best for Mexican restaurants at a similar price point over the years. For example, Diana's needs location landing pages set up for each location (Carson CA, Norwalk CA, Gardena CA, El Monte CA) to boost conversion rate and search engine rankings. It also needs to diversify out of just having UberEats ASAP which are costing it huge amounts of customer data. I think it would probably be easier to cover it on a 15 minute call. Feel free to email me if you want to hop on a call (Adam@Owner.com) to go through it all for you -- happy to share pointers for free
Hey Christine! I noticed that your Google listing has a really great 4.9 average but only 24 reviews. People tend to gravitate towards restaurants that not only have the high average but also have a lot of reviews to give that average credibility. Encourage customers to leave reviews and mention the dishes they tried in their review. Your empanada menu page has the same photo for all empanada options. Try doing sliced dish photos. This could entice more customers by allowing them to see the delicious fillings you have inside of your empanadas. I'd recommend keywords as well such as "best empanadas in Naples" or "best sandwiches in Naples" to help you with search visibility.
Hey Isaac! Websites are one of the best tools a restaurant can have to grow their presence online and make implementing these tips more impactful. Have you had trouble creating one?
Hi, Adam. Thank you so much for the video. 🙏 I'm currently managing a Mediterranean Restaurant called Zest Grill House in Sun Valley, CA. First I was working as a cashier over there, then the ownership promoted me but it is all sooo neeeewww to me. Are you giving any educational online classes by any chance? I'm literally so impressed 👍👍👍
I appreciate the kind words, Liyana!! No online classes at this point but Zest Grill House looks like a perfect fit for our platform Owner.com (and signing up comes with access to a Restaurant Success Coach on my team plus a Facebook group where I share more exclusive content). Might be worth giving a look! Really appreciate your kind words and comment. 👀 ♥
Also, huge congrats on going from cashier to manager. That is very impressive, and most people never make that jump! The owner must have seen greatness in you, and I can see why if you're watching RUclips videos on how to improve their business.
Just gound this vid, its super informative. I was wondering about the modifiers you mentioned (w chownow and toast), it work w square? I own: Aliceas NY Bagels and Subs in Rio Rancho NM.
Hey! Square online ordering does allow you to set some modifiers but you’d have to ask your point of contact at Square to find out exactly what modifiers you can make or you can likely find it in your online customer portal.
Thank you for this valuable information. I've watched 3 of your videos so far and find your tips extremely helpful. I create reels for The Cafe at OM in Spring Hill, FL. What are your suggestions for the business? Thank you!
Thank you for taking a second to comment, Yulia! I looked through your restaurant’s Google listing and website and it looks like you already market yourself as being organic and plant based.the demographic that is most likely to be a customer in this cuisine type is Gen Z and Millennials These two groups really enjoy being rewarded for their loyalty, strong online presence of the vendors they consume from, and authentic branding. If you’d like more tips on your restaurant’s online presence, feel free to head to our channel and watch some of the other content we have up!
Hey there! Thank you for watching and commenting. I looked through your website and the first thing I would recommend is to make photos of your menu items more of a focus on your main landing page. Your website currently presents online visitors with a lot of text that they have to read through to learn about your restaurant. This can actually deter people from engaging with your restaurant because website visitors are typically looking for quick and easy answers about your restaurant and text requires a higher level of effort from them. Instead, put photos of your most popular menu items right in front of them which will not only entice them with what you have to offer but will also give them more information about what they can expect from your restaurant in a way that’s far easier to digest for a website visitors. I would also recommend adding keywords that appeal to local searches and your cuisine type. Try “best butter chicken in Halifax” or “best tikka masala in Halifax.” Thank you again for watching. Feel free to check out the other content we have on our channel as well!
Great video btw you look like will tennyson I'm trying to go through all of your amazing videos are there any specific ones related to market campaign your wanna suggest
LOL, I don’t think I’ve gotten the Will Tennyson one before. Marketing is a pretty wide scope so we have videos that dive into more specific topics. I would suggest our SEO for Restaurants video or scrolling through and watching our Shorts. You may find what topics interest you through those and find full length videos on our channel that go deeper into it. Did you already have certain topics in mind that you wanted to learn about?
Hey Jaurel! Sorry for the delayed response. Got swamped recently! Try "best sushi in College Station," "best sashimi in College Station," or "best cocktails in College Station" since you guys mention that being a specialty on your website! Thanks for the support on our videos!
Hey Natalie! Thank you for taking time to comment. I'm always happy to hear that this video was useful for someone. I took a look at your website and you don't have SEO-friendly keywords that could help your search rank. Since you guys specialize in vegan and Italian food you could try keywords like "best vegan food in London" or "best Italian food in London" Putting photos of your food to the menu could also be a great addition. Customers love to see pictures of the food available to them, and are more likely to make a purchase when there is an image of food right in front of them. I have a bunch of content on this channel that you might find helpful too so feel free to check those out for more tips!
Hey Ken! Sorry for the slow response. The month has been packed! I googled your restaurant and saw that you specialize in Italian food. You also have over 700 reviews and a lot of them mention seafood. Some keywords for your restaurant would be "best Italian food in Vineland" and "best seafood in Vineland," Feel free to check out the other videos on our channel or you can visit the Owner.com site and sign up for a free demo. Would love to show you a bit more of the strategies that could make a difference for your restaurant's online presence. Thanks for supporting!
Hey! Glad to hear you enjoyed this video. For Crepe Castle's online presence, incorporating specific keywords such as "best breakfast in Oshawa" could improve search engine visibility. I also noticed that you have an order online button on your Google listing but not on your website. If this is something you want to emphasize or see more business on, I’d suggest attaching your online ordering system to your website and include high quality photos of your dishes in that online ordering platform too.
Hey Andres! I took a look at your website and saw that you offer online ordering and a digital menu. A huge opportunity for you guys is to have photos of your dishes. People eat with their eyes so they are much more likely to add additional items or place an order at all if they can see the food they'd be missing out on if they didn't. I would also suggest adding keywords. In your case, you could try "best tacos in Stow" or "best Mexican food in Stow." This will help you appeal to commonly searched terms within your cuisine type and boost your search rank. Feel free to check out the Owner.com website and sign up for a free demo. Would love to chat about other things we could do to elevate your online presence!
This was incredibly informative. We are a Gluten free Mexican restaurant in Toronto called El Pocho We are the best Mexican restaurant in Toronto! Now how to we execute all this fabulous information!
Hi Christina. I'm so glad that you liked the video. I took a look at your restaurant online and all the photos of food in the reviews section looks awesome! Something I noticed is that your website doesn't have photos of your menu items on the main landing page. Adding high quality images will help you capture the interest of your website visitors and make them more likely to become customers. The same applies for your online ordering platform; add high quality photos for each of your menu offerings. People are more likely to add items to their order if they can see the food they'd miss out on right in front of them. Thank you for commenting and supporting our channel!
Thanks for commenting! I checked out your website and with such a great menu, I'd recommend giving each menu item it's own page so your restaurant can show up when people are searching "best wings in Victorville" or "best burgers in Victorville" or "best tacos in Victorville". A few other things I noticed was there wasn't any kind of reward offered to customers for joining your email list. I'd recommend adding one like the $500 reward one we offer all of the restaurants that work with us automatically to help build their customer lists. If you want a few more tips, book a demo with our team at Owner.com and we can chat some more. Just tell them I sent you from RUclips Thanks for watching!
Hey Sabina! Try using keywords like “best Nepalese food in London” or “best Indian food in London.” This will help you boost your search rank. I’d also suggest adding photos of your food to your online ordering platform. It encourages people to order and add extra items to their cart. Thank you for supporting the channel!
Absolutely gorgeous information.... I am in the process of setting up my very first restaurant in the city of London "England" and this is exactly what I was looking for... thanks mate. A+++
Absolutely love to hear it! We have a lot of content already uploaded on this channel that you may find helpful as you get things up and running. Lots more coming too. Good luck!
Hello! Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad that out content has been useful and easy to follow for you. I searched for your restaurant but wasn’t able to find it. What street is it on?
Hello there! We have a lot of resources posted online if thats what you're looking for. Go to the Owner.com website and you'll see a resource button up top. We have both case studies and a blog with different posts that you may find helpful!
Hello Keli! Thank you for commenting. I appreciate the support and love to know that you had some takeaways from this video. I took a look at your website and the first thing I’m seeing is a lot of text. When someone is visiting a restaurant website, they are typically looking for a quick answers as to what you offer and what they can expect from your restaurant. Since you only have a few seconds to get someone’s attention, I always recommend adding photos of popular menu items as one of the first things someone sees when they visit your website. You also have a great 4.6 average rating but not a lot of reviews. I would recommend increasing your number of reviews so that your high rating can also have a lot of credibility behind it. Make it easy for your customers to leave reviews on your Google listing and encourage them to mention the dishes that they tried in the written section in order to help you with local search visibility. Feel free to check out some of our other content if you liked this one!
What an informative video! I was wondering what to do/where to create a website? My parents are the owners but neither speak English and I am trying to help our restaurant in the Dallas area.
Hey Daniel! Love to hear that our content was useful for you. Making a good, highly effective website can be a bit tricky. What's the name of your parent's restaurant? Maybe I can steer you in the right direction.
Shoot an email over to brandy.vega@owner.com. She can send you over some website creation options. I did scroll around the site a bit and noticed that the "order" button doesn't seem to be working. Do you have a online ordering platform?
Hey Gabriela! Thank you for commenting. I searched for it on Google and saw 4 different locations. Would you like feedback for a specific one or do all of them fall under the same umbrella?
Sure, try it out! Some marketing strategies can vary from country to country as the social cultures value different things but the ones mentioned in these videos should still be helpful for you!
Hey Lisa! Thank you so much for your support and for leaving a comment. Wow, you guys have a ton of reviews on Google! That’s always an awesome thing to see as a prospective customer and great for your search rank. It looks like you have an ActiveMenu ordering platforms. Normally what you’d want is to have an online ordering platform that is attached to the same site domain as your restaurant’s website. The reason for this is because all the SEO benefit that comes with people scrolling around and spending money on your ordering platform is missed when it’s on a separate domain like yours currently is. Adding photos of the food you offer to the platform would also be a great way to encourage people to order! I would also suggest revamping your website to be a bit more user friendly and modern. Feel free to check out our website, Owner.com, and sign up for a free demo. We’d love to chat about how we do exactly these things for other restaurants like yours!
Hey Mady! Thank you for supporting our channel. I would recommend increasing your number of reviews and your average rating. One of the things that people look at when they are looking online for a restaurant to visit is how likely it is that they will enjoy their experience if they choose to become a customer of yours. Your reviews are one of the first things they will look at to determine this! Encourage customers to leave reviews and mention the dishes they tried. This can help your search visibility as well. It looks like you don't have a restaurant website. I'd recommend creating one because its a great way to show off your brand and menu items. If you already have one, be sure to link it to your Google listing. Feel free to check out the other videos on this channel for more restaurant marketing insight.
Hey Alisia! The first thing I would suggest is increasing your amount of reviews. Wings can be a competitive cuisine type so making yourself stand out by having credibility with existing customers will make you more appealing to potential customers that are finding you online. People want to make sure that they will have a good experience and eat delicious food when they choose a restaurant and reviews are one of the first things they will look out to determine if this is true for your restaurant. Currently, the top ranking restaurants for wings in Winter Garden have a couple hundred reviews to over 1000. I got a pop-up that gave me the option to place a carryout order. I clicked on it and it took me to a “coming soon” page. A few things to keep in mind when you launch your online ordering is to have high-quality images of the dishes because this entices people to place their order or add additional items. Be sure to have a place for people to leave reviews on particular items and have suggestions for “commonly paired items.” These could help you increase your average ticket size. Thank you for supporting us. Feel free to check out the content we have posted on our channel for more insight.
Hey Hessah! Sorry for the late response. You have over three thousand reviews on Google which is a great for your SEO! Since you focus on breakfast food, some key words for your restaurant is "best breakfast in Riyadh" and "best shakshuka in Riyadh." Thanks for your support!
Hey! Thanks for the comment. Some keywords for you would be "best Turkish food in Walsall," "best Shawarma in Walsall." Falafel is one of the most notable menu items according to customers in your reviews so "best falafel in Walsall" would be a good one too! Thanks for taking time to comment and support our video! Feel free to check out some of our other videos for more tips!
Hey there, The example you saw is something we offer the restaurants we work with as part of our all-in-one marketing platform. If you want to check it out for your restaurant, be sure to book a free demo at our website Owner.com. Thanks for watching and supporting!
Hey Sukhpreet! NYC is a competitive place for restaurants with there being such an abundance of options for potential customers. If I search for Indian food in Times Square, there are 5 options before you. While you have nearly 1k reviews, it could be a good idea to push more customers to leave reviews on your Google listing to compete with the restaurants in the top spots who are over 2k. Highlighting popular items in your cuisine type can attract people looking for popular Indian dishes in your area. Using keywords such as "best Indian restaurant in Times Square" or "best butter chicken in Times Square" on your website and in online content can help improve your search rankings. You currently offer online ordering through a separate domain (saarnyc.thefastbite.com). Integrating this directly with your main website could improve your SEO, making it easier for customers to place orders and enhancing their overall experience. If you want more insight, feel free to sign up for a free demo on the Owner.com website. We're happy to chat and show you how we do this for thousands for restaurants!
Hey Adam, I have a counter service restaurant in Brooklyn NY called Bowl. , I would be super grateful for your input on how I can increase my customers
Hey there, Courtney! Try using keywords that reflect your restaurants cuisine type. For Casino Inn Bar & Grill this could be “best burgers in Alpine” or “best beer in Alpine.” I also noticed that a lot of your reviews mention things about the events you offer. Keywords like “live music in Alpine” or “karaoke in Alpine” could help you appeal to people searching for events you offer as well. Thanks you for leaving a comment and supporting our channel!
Hello Adam...such an amazing work. I sooke to yourbtean regarding ny restaurant but apparently yiu only operate within the US. I want a branch of owner in my country, hie can we work tgat out. Same operations, same strategies just different countries. Can we discuss that please
Hey there! I’d be happy to take a look. I looked through your reviews and popular items to come up with some keywords for you to use on your website. Use these as primary keywords, such as "best Italian food in Gallatin" or "best Chicago style pizza in Gallatin," in your online content to attract more customers searching for these specific dishes. Your website directs customers to a separate domain for orders. Moving your online ordering to the same domain as your website can significantly improve your SEO, making it easier for new customers to find you. Your menu has a variety of appealing dishes, but only a few photos. Adding photos to your online menu could entice hesitant customers to place an order. This visual appeal can lead to an increase in the average ticket size since customers are more likely to add additional items to their order when they can see what they'd miss out on if they didn't. If you want more tailored advice for your restaurant or want to see how you can implement these strategies, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website, Owner.com. We also have a bunch of content already uploaded that you may find helpful so feel free to check those out too!
Hey there! I took a look at your website and it looks like it goes directly to an online ordering page. I'd suggest getting a website and have an online ordering platform attached to the same domain. Add keywords like "best coffee in Portland" and encourage customers do leave reviews on your Google page to boost your search rank. Thank you for supporting our channel and feel free to watch our other content videos for more marketing tips!
Hey Susan! I found your restaurant online and noticed that you’re using your POS system for online ordering. I always recommend that restaurants use an online ordering platform that attaches to the same domain as their website. There is a lot of benefit in SEO when people spend money on your site so having your ordering system on the same domain as your website could be a huge opportunity for SEO growth! I’d also suggest adding keywords like “best burgers in Cle Elum” to help you appeal to the Google algorithm when people in your area are searching for burger spots. If you want more insight, feel free to check out the Owner.com website and sign up for a free demo. We are always happy to chat and show you how we do it!
Haha! I don’t think I’ve seen anyone point this out in all the time this video has been up. It’s customary in some cultures, but definitely odd in others.
hey! sorry for the delay, missed this comment. highly recommend trying out our new product (Owner.com/AI) to get a new high-converting website for your restaurant in a few minutes
this is super helpful, tips on photos and al text is definitely game changing! We have a family owned Italian restaurant called La Calabrese at Ocean on the Gold Coast, Australia. Would love if we can get some feedback from you!!
Hi Rae, I'm so happy to hear that some of the tips in this video were helpful for you. Thank you for watching and supporting our channel! It looks like you're not appearing a one of the top results for "best Italian food in Gold Coast" when I search for it on Google. One of the common themes is that the highest ranking Italian restaurant tend to have a lot of reviews. You currently have an awesome average of 4.7 stars, but encouraging customers to leave reviews will help you compete more with the top dogs in the search results. I'd suggest using keywords like "best Italian food in Gold Coast" or "best pizza in Gold Coast" too! I have a bunch of content on this channel that you may find helpful if you liked this one. Feel free to check those out too!
Thank you so much for the feedback. We really appreciate your support. I did a quick search of your restaurant online and wasn't able to find a dedicated website for your restaurant. Without a dedicated website, it's challenging to use these marketing strategies for your restaurant. If you want to check out Owner.com and book a free demo, I can show you how we help you build a fully SEO optimized website through our platform. Just tell them Adam sent you!
Thank you so much for the video. Could you please look at my restaurant’s please: Maman Burleigh, Gold Coast, Australia and Lucia in Tugun, Gold Coast, Australia. Thank you 🙏
Hey Johnny! Sorry for the late reply. The last month has been packed! I looked up both of your restaurants and what came up were two restaurants with slightly different names: Lucia Tapas Garden on Golden Four and Maman Bar & Kitchen on James St. Are these your restaurants?
Thank you for the valuable TIP. It proved to be highly beneficial. Adam, could you offer any recommendations on promoting a Meal Plan company that offers complete meal delivery services five days a week?
Hey there Margarita! Thanks for commenting and so glad to hear that the tips in our videos have been helpful. Try keywords like "best meal prep in (insert city)" or if you specialize in a certain type of meal prep you can go for something like "best low calorie meal prep in (insert city)" Do you have a website or Google listing for your meal prep company? I can take a look and give you more insight.
Thanks Adam! I own Jon Smith Subs in Harrogate, TN, which is part of a franchise, so I am limited in what I can do with our POS system Toast. How can I get more exposure via Google SEO?
Hey Ron! Reviews and keywords in those reviews can be a good tool for you to leverage since you have limited access over your website. Encourage customers to leave reviews and mention the dishes they tried. Keywords like “best subs in Harrogate” and “best sandwiches in Harrogate” could help you with SEO.
I have no idea about Florida USA but how do you manage the logistics as general websites entertain orders from their portal and delivery individuals would be costly
Hey, I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're asking. Are you asking how to manage online ordering while also having the capacity to deliver those orders as well?
Hey! Just got to see your comment after a busy week. Sorry about the delayed reply! It looks like you primarily offer sushi inspired by Latin cuisine. Some keywords for your restaurant could be "best latin food in Miami" and "best sushi in Miami" If you want some more tips, be sure to watch some of our other videos or you can visit our Owner.com website and sign up for a free demo where we can show you some other methods to grow your online business! I appreciate your support!
Hey there, Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. First, your restaurant looks delicious! Some great keywords for your restaurant would be "best chicken tenders in Greenville" or "best chicken tenders in Spartanburg" since those are listed as some of your popular dishes. I would also try "best wings in Greenville" or "best wings in Spartanburg" as well since those are one of your main offerings. If you want more help with your restaurant, be sure to check out some of our other great videos or you can visit our website at Owner.com and sign up for a free demo of our platform meant to help restaurants like yours with all of this and more. Really appreciate your support and your comment.
Hey Justin, sorry for the late response! Got swamped over the last few weeks and didn't have the chance to see your comment. I went onto your restaurant website, and the online ordering button is hidden in the top menu. Having a noticeable and easy to find online ordering button on your website would make a big difference in a user's likelihood of becoming a paying customer. Omakase and Sushi seem to be some popular items on your menu. Keywords like "best omakase in Queens" or "best Sushi in Queens" would be great additions to your website as well! My platform, Owner.com, actually specializes in things like this. Feel free to check out our website and sign up for a free demo so we can go over some other strategies that could help you boost your online presence.
Hey there! Thank you for commenting. I looked up your restaurant online and it looks like you don’t have a website. Having one can make a huge difference for your SEO and online presence. You have a 4.9 star average which is awesome, but not as many reviews as a lot of the restaurants you’d compete with in your area. I’d suggest encouraging your customers to leave reviews to build credibility with potential customers and boost search rank!
Hey Charlie, Your restaurant looks delicious! With such a tasty menu, I'd recommend having dedicated pages for each of your menu dishes. That way your restaurant will turn up when people are searching for things like "best clam chowder in Montebello" or "best fajitas in Montebello" or "best seafood in Montebello". I also noticed you offer online ordering through third-party services that charge ridiculous fees and commissions. These other third-party apps can make it really challenging to turn a profit for your restaurant and grow your business. I have an idea. Why don't you book a demo with our team at Owner.com. Our team can help you with all of this for your restaurant. Thanks for watching!
Hey Shawn! The first thing I noticed when I searched your restaurant is that your Google listing doesn’t have any reviews. Reviews are a great way to show web browsers that you are credible. People want to be sure that they are choosing to go to a restaurant that has good food, service, and other check box items. One of the first things they look to for this is your reviews. Encourage customers to leave a rating and mention their favorite dishes in their review. Your website also redirects traffic to your third party pages. You’d save a lot of money by having a direct online ordering platform that fulfills pickup and delivery orders. This also can do wonders for your SEO. Thank you for supporting us! Feel free to check out the other content on our page for more marketing content.
Hi Adam! Really love your content, its extremely informative and well put together. Great Job! I operate 2 restaurants by the name of Wing Fix in Australia. They are located in suburbs Brisbane & Coorparoo (In Brisbane City). Would love to hear your take. Regards
Hey! I’m so happy to hear that this video was helpful. Thank you for the kind words and the support on our channel. Things I really liked on your website and ordering page are the photos of the food, descriptions of the items, and you’ve really honored your brand through your site. Something I’d suggest is adding keywords to your site like “best wings in Coorparoo” or “best burgers in Newmarket” to really appeal to SEO. I’d also suggest attaching your online ordering platform to the same domain. This ensures that the traffic and interactions you get on your ordering platform contribute to the same SEO as your main restaurant site. Thank you for supporting our channel! We have a bunch of content already uploaded that you may find helpful too and even more content on the way so feel free to check those out as they come!
Hey Zach, Having it show up in the navigation bar would definitely be a lot for the user scrolling through the menu. Let’s use a cafe in Springfield as an example of what I mean with separate pages. Say their domain is cafeinspringfield.com. Their menu page would be cafeinspringfield.com/menu and if a customer was to click on their signature cafe latte, then it would be cafeinspringfield.com/menu?item=cafelatte
Hey thanks for your wonderful video. I have a restaurant based in delivery named Orimaki sushi in Barcelona Spain. Would be great to hear from you. Thanks in advance and Kudos for the great tips.
Hey there Jose! Thank you for taking time to comment. I searched for "best sushi in Barcelona" and your restaurant doesn't come up in the first page of results. Try adding keywords like "best sushi in Barcelona" and "best Japanese food in Barcelona" I'd also suggest encouraging your customers to leave reviews on your Google listing. You have a great average star rating, but less reviews than a lot of the restaurants that pop up before you on Google.
Hey Karla! Thank you for the support. It’s awesome to see how this video has stayed timeless. I still upload content regularly so feel free to check that out too!
Hey Marcus! Thank you for leaving a comment and supporting our channel. I looked through the Hud's website and it looks like you don't have separate landing pages for each of the restaurant locations. Is that right? I noticed that you're using Toast and other 3rd party vendors for online ordering. Since your website and your preferred online ordering platform are on different domains your restaurant domain isn't seeing the SEO benefit you would normally see from having people click around and spend money on your ordering platform. Your ordering platform doesn't have food images, and since people often make food choices based on visual appeal, their likelihood of ordering from your platform will significantly decrease when they can't view the enticing menu options. If you want more insight for your restaurant, feel free to check out some of our other videos or head over to our website and sign up for a free demo!
Hey there! Do you have a Google listing? I searched for Taqueria Sabrosa in El Paso but wasn’t able to find anything other than links to delivery apps.

Hi Adam, just discovered your video & channel about 15 minutes ago. Only halfway through the video and already saved it so I can reference it again and work on these things for our restaurant. Appreciate you and the info you're putting out there for other people in the restaurant industry!

Keep it up!
Great content. I just signed up for Owner. I think it is going to make a big difference for my restaurant.
If you’re interested in seeing how we tackle online strategy for restaurants like yours, feel free to sign up for a free demo on our website at Owner.com.

Thanks for commenting. Do you have a restaurant?

Thank you for your comment! 305 Peruvian looks like a perfect fit for the platform we built at Owner.com. Maybe it makes sense to book a demo?
Ed's Forest Grill LLC, Silver Springs Florida.
This can entice people to continue scrolling and see the food they would miss out on if they did not eat at your restaurant.
hi, thanks a lot adam your video is so helpful, and it contains imporant informations, it helped me a lot.

Great tips! Our restaurant is Melt Yard in Marietta, GA
I appreciate you saying that, Justin! Just reviewed your website and had the below tips for you:
Best keywords for Melt Yard are going to be "best burger in Marietta", "tacos in Marietta", and "bar in Marietta".

Great video! - Do you use the current POS system from the restaurant to update all the data or Owner has their own POS system?
Hey there, Carmen!
We don’t currently offer a POS of our own but do integrate with a number of POS systems. What POS system do you use?
This is great information. Thank you. My Family owns a Restaurant in Umatilla Oregon. The Bridge Bistro and Brews.
Try "best poutine in Umatilla" or "best burgers in Umatilla."
Thank you for supporting our channel and feel free to check out our website at Owner.com and sign up for a free demo! We'd love to give you more insight based on what we've seen work for other restaurant in your cuisine type.
This is great! Thank you for this...any chance you can check out Magnolia Room in Tucker, GA?
For Magnolia Room that could be "best Southern comfort food in Tucker," "best mac and cheese in Tucker," and "best catfish in Tucker."
Feel free to sign up for a free demo on the Owner.com website if you're interested in seeing how we approach online strategy for thousands of other restaurants!

The Edge of Town Tavern, Plymouth NH
Great video and enjoyed the tips
Keywords for you would be "best burgers in Plymouth," "best steak in Plymouth," and "best cocktails in Plymouth."

Macanudo Mate Naples Florida - thank you
Hey Christine!
Great tips and insights!
Thank you, Jason! Means the world coming from my favorite business content creator :D
Really informative and value packed. Please I have a question: can these strategies be implemented if the restaurant doesn't have a website?
Hey Isaac! Websites are one of the best tools a restaurant can have to grow their presence online and make implementing these tips more impactful. Have you had trouble creating one?
Hi, Adam. Thank you so much for the video. 🙏
I'm currently managing a Mediterranean Restaurant called Zest Grill House in Sun Valley, CA.

Also, huge congrats on going from cashier to manager. That is very impressive, and most people never make that jump! The owner must have seen greatness in you, and I can see why if you're watching RUclips videos on how to improve their business.

Tacombi Miami, FL
Hello Olga!
I see a few different locations for Tacombi in Miami. Is there one in specific I should look at or are you affiliated with all three?
Just gound this vid, its super informative. I was wondering about the modifiers you mentioned (w chownow and toast), it work w square?
I own:
Aliceas NY Bagels and Subs in Rio Rancho NM.
Hey!
Square online ordering does allow you to set some modifiers but you’d have to ask your point of contact at Square to find out exactly what modifiers you can make or you can likely find it in your online customer portal.
I wish you much success
Thank you, Rashaad! I appreciate the kind words.
Thank you for this valuable information. I've watched 3 of your videos so far and find your tips extremely helpful. I create reels for The Cafe at OM in Spring Hill, FL. What are your suggestions for the business? Thank you!
Hey. Can you look at restaurant Green Panther, Montreal, Canada. Looking forward to reading your suggestions. Thanks
Thank you for taking a second to comment, Yulia!
I looked through your restaurant’s Google listing and website and it looks like you already market yourself as being organic and plant based.the demographic that is most likely to be a customer in this cuisine type is Gen Z and Millennials
These two groups really enjoy being rewarded for their loyalty, strong online presence of the vendors they consume from, and authentic branding.
If you’d like more tips on your restaurant’s online presence, feel free to head to our channel and watch some of the other content we have up!
Love the video. But how do I add alt text to my website so it pops up on google?
Naan n Curry, Halifax, NovaScotia
Try “best butter chicken in Halifax” or “best tikka masala in Halifax.”
Thank you again for watching. Feel free to check out the other content we have on our channel as well!

Hey, this is really useful thank you!! Our restaurant is Peachy Goat, in London.
Hey Natalie!
Thank you for taking time to comment. I'm always happy to hear that this video was useful for someone.
I took a look at your website and you don't have SEO-friendly keywords that could help your search rank. Since you guys specialize in vegan and Italian food you could try keywords like "best vegan food in London" or "best Italian food in London"
Putting photos of your food to the menu could also be a great addition. Customers love to see pictures of the food available to them, and are more likely to make a purchase when there is an image of food right in front of them.
I have a bunch of content on this channel that you might find helpful too so feel free to check those out for more tips!
Maplewood III Vineland NJ
Hey Ken! Sorry for the slow response. The month has been packed!
I googled your restaurant and saw that you specialize in Italian food. You also have over 700 reviews and a lot of them mention seafood. Some keywords for your restaurant would be "best Italian food in Vineland" and "best seafood in Vineland,"
Feel free to check out the other videos on our channel or you can visit the Owner.com site and sign up for a free demo. Would love to show you a bit more of the strategies that could make a difference for your restaurant's online presence.

Hey Adam! Great video. My restaurant is called “crepe castle” in Oshawa, Canada. Anything we need to work on?
Loved the video! Here’s my restaurant, Casa Nueva taco & tequila bar in stow Ohio, I’d like to get some tips please :) thank you!

Just tell them I sent you from RUclips

Hey Sabina!
Try using keywords like “best Nepalese food in London” or “best Indian food in London.” This will help you boost your search rank.

Hi Adam , would love your opinions. Learned alot from your video. Silveyra's in San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato

Overstreet restaurant llc Cuero, Texas

My restaurant is Chick'n Cone/Big Lou's Single Wing Express in Winter Garden, FL.

Thank you so much .. our restaurant (Golden Karak) in Riyadh - Saudi Arabia
Hey Hessah! Sorry for the late response.
You have over three thousand reviews on Google which is a great for your SEO! Since you focus on breakfast food, some key words for your restaurant is "best breakfast in Riyadh" and "best shakshuka in Riyadh."
Thanks for your support!

Turkish Shawarma in Walsall
Thanks Adam for the valuable content
Hey! Thanks for the comment.
Some keywords for you would be "best Turkish food in Walsall," "best Shawarma in Walsall." Falafel is one of the most notable menu items according to customers in your reviews so "best falafel in Walsall" would be a good one too!

Hi Adam, I own "Saar Indian Bistro" in Times Square NYC. looking forward to seeing your opinions on it. Thank you!

Hey Adam, I have a counter service restaurant in Brooklyn NY called Bowl. , I would be super grateful for your input on how I can increase my customers
Hello!
I’d be happy to give you some insight. I wasn’t able to find your restaurant on Google. What street is it on?
Casino Inn Bar and Grill in Alpine, CA
Hey there, Courtney!
Try using keywords that reflect your restaurants cuisine type. For Casino Inn Bar & Grill this could be “best burgers in Alpine” or “best beer in Alpine.”
I also noticed that a lot of your reviews mention things about the events you offer.

Hey there!
Looks like you’re labeled as a caterer online. Do you solely do catering or do you have a full service restaurant too?
Campiones taste of Chicago Gallatin, tennessee
Hey Adam, I own and operate NorthFresh Coffee Roasters in Portland, OR. Would love your take on our site. Thanks for making your videos!
Hey there!
I took a look at your website and it looks like it goes directly to an online ordering page. I'd suggest getting a website and have an online ordering platform attached to the same domain.
Add keywords like "best coffee in Portland" and encourage customers do leave reviews on your Google page to boost your search rank.

Red Arrow Drive In Cle Elum, WA

Amazing video! Super helpful. Only issue I had with it was the person cutting a taco with a fork and knife in the 25th minute………
Haha! I don’t think I’ve seen anyone point this out in all the time this video has been up. It’s customary in some cultures, but definitely odd in others.

this is super helpful, tips on photos and al text is definitely game changing! We have a family owned Italian restaurant called La Calabrese at Ocean on the Gold Coast, Australia. Would love if we can get some feedback from you!!
Hi Rae,
I'm so happy to hear that some of the tips in this video were helpful for you.

Try keywords like "best meal prep in (insert city)" or if you specialize in a certain type of meal prep you can go for something like "best low calorie meal prep in (insert city)"
Do you have a website or Google listing for your meal prep company?
Hey,
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're asking. Are you asking how to manage online ordering while also having the capacity to deliver those orders as well?

Obba Sushi & More, Miami
Hey! Just got to see your comment after a busy week. Sorry about the delayed reply!

Wing Crave Greenville, SC
Hey there,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

Kaizen New York. Queens, New York City.
Restaurant name is Kala rooftop lounge . Location orlando close to Disney . Thankss❤ for all your help . Love your videos
Waiting on your response
Crabby's Seafood & More Montebello, CA
Hey Charlie,
Your restaurant looks delicious!
The Caribbean Cajun, Dallas TX
Regards
Sorry* Newmarket & Coorparoo (In Brisbane City)
Taco burrito king in Chicago. Specifically the greektown locations google page
Hey Christian! I only see one Greektown location on W Jackson. Where are the others located?
For the individual pages for each menu item, would you have the pages show up on the website navigation? It seems like that would be so many pages
Hey Zach,
Having it show up in the navigation bar would definitely be a lot for the user scrolling through the menu.
Try adding keywords like "best sushi in Barcelona" and "best Japanese food in Barcelona"
I'd also suggest encouraging your customers to leave reviews on your Google listing. You have a great average star rating, but less reviews than a lot of the restaurants that pop up before you on Google.
Even though it is 2024, This was very useful for me and my family!
Hey Karla! Thank you for the support. It’s awesome to see how this video has stayed timeless. I still upload content regularly so feel free to check that out too!
Hud's Amarillo Texas
