Car paint has multiple scratches and swirls marks in it by time this is an 9m 7m compound uses for swirl marks and scratches removing remember if you don't focus on these marks so they will completely fade paint in 6 months or a year weekly cleaning and polishing never make like these marks on paint

My car/paint is 35yrs old, been compounded years ago, now needs another. I really dont want to do it again. Can a buffing shine it back up?

This is exactly what happened to my car after i got it buffed the paint has gone dull and grey like this how fo i fix it cos the guy who did it said that whoever i bought my car off used clear coat and that it buffed off wich i dont believe cos its a new ish car and it was nice and shiny before and now it looks battered any help wuld be appreciated
Honestly after you buff and polish your car ans ceramic coat it. I then i try to upkeep with a nice liquid wax once a month and then clay bar it every three months . Keep in mind this is my weekend car. My daily i liquid wax every two weeks and clay bar once every other month.

Had a question do you wash your car first then do this step next? And I have another question if a customer wanted sealant and a paint correction do I use a paint correction first then the sealant or sealant then correction?
Hi, we always fully decontaminate a car first before starting a paint correction. Also only after a correction is done do we apply Ceramic Coating or PPF or both. Thanks

I promise everyone watching this one pass does not do that. That is like a good hour of back and forth passes on that one panel
I prefer a rotary for cutting its less time consuming in my opinion

It cuts a layer of clear coat actually correcting and completely getting rid of swirls. That’s why you always properly wash your vehicle and never wash in circular motions or go through ANY drive through wash
@@Kennybeachum Lmao. Unless you got a nice ass brand new Camaro or something the advice of *never* going through any drive through car washes is just unrealistic. The average person doesn’t have time to hand wash their vehicle every time it gets dirty.

@@Kennybeachum I certainly try, but I’ll add onto that point by saying that if one doesn’t have time to hand wash their vehicle every time, going through the automatic wash for maintenance is better than putting off washing the car because you can’t find the time to wash it. Especially here in the Midwest.

We use a variety of Rupes compounds to get the best result
Dont you have to clay bar it or something so the paint doesn't get scratched even worse the next time? My white 2014 Tacoma and my dads 2011 Crosstour need this so bad, especially the Crosstour good grief that car had gotten scratched up. 😢
