You actually don't need ceramic coat. I have an old car that still shines because I always park it in shade and wash regularly as advised by manufacturer. Any coating to the paint that is not advised may have undesirable effects.

Getting a maintenance coat after 2 years is important to extend the life of the ceramic coating. The car should never be cleaned directly using a dry cloth after ceramic coating; it is always recommended to wash the car with plain water to get rid of mud and dirt and then clean it with a good microfiber cloth. Also, the cloth movement should be in one direction instead of swirls. I follow these instructions, and my 7-year-old Honda City still looks like new.

Also met uncle there he was also very friendly. He asked me to have a look in work shop so i visited my favourite place where they do ceramic coating . I have done ceramic 10H graphene coating on my newly bought tata nexon from detailing devils just a week ago. I’m amazed after seeing the shine and the smoothness of my car.
Even i have done it through detailing devils as well. If you maintained your car well then that smoothness and water beading effect could lasts for a year but shine will remain as they guaranteed

Thanks Parikshit for covering ceramic coating. I am not a fan of PPF at all and looking for alternative. Been thinking about ceramic coating but glad your video cleared everything out.
ceramic and PPF coating are worlds apart I have first-hand experience.
I did ceramic coating on my car and it did a good job, but it did not save me from light scratches from normal cleaning and washing, wear and tear even if I was careful, I followed 2 bucket washing system, with a grim collector in one bucket, I also purchased really high-quality washing mit(around 1000rs) I washed with foam shampoo as step 1 and then wax shampoo(Maguires, and turtle wax products), I have special drying cloth around 1100 GSM(800rs cloth), even after all this there were scratches.
then I applied PPF from 3M (I don't have Brotomotive services in my city) believe me it was night and day difference, as PPF went above and beyond in saving my car.
in my personal opinion, don't waste 10,20 or 30,000 on ceramic coating just shell out good money with Brotomotive and go for a PPF.
You won't have to look at your car for at least five years if you do a PPF (granted little bit Care is required, but not anywhere near ceramic coatings care requirement)

and my T-Roc was done with Llumar for 130K.
10years warranty.
I know they are expensive, but honestly, they last the whole practical life of the car (around 7-8years)

Yes u can say that coating make it hard.
But that microfiber cloth used again for other purposes in workshop
