Super clear, thank you so much. I was reading an old sock knitting book and the written instructions for this stitch weren't making any sense, but your video was very helpful!

The first method does make the stitch loose looking. I’ve been changing the sts round before knitting but it is difficult on fine lace. ❤

I know this video was posted a long time ago, but I’m desperate! My pattern says “yb, insert right-hand needle between 9th and 10th stitches on left-hand needle, draw loop through and slip onto left-hand needle.” This seems a bit different from the stitch you are creating in this video. I’m so confused! Any advice?

I don’t know if you ever got an answer elsewhere, but yes, that’s pulling the bar in between stitches. You’re making 1 left or right, depending on how your asked to draw the loop

Hello, I am writing a knitting pattern that has this stitch in it. Would you mind if I link your tutorial in my pattern?
