I still can't believe we all got to hang out finally after A YEAR of being so close but so far away! We were smiling from ear to ear the whole time watching this video. Have the best time in Vietnam & can't wait to catch up again soon!! 🤗
We are SO happy we finally got to hang out and have the opportunity to film together. We are very much looking forward to crossing paths again very soon to share a few more beers and travel stories. 😊😊
If you guys like local markets, I recommend Jingjai Market on Sunday mornings. Get there early though, it does get crowded fast and many shops close up by noon!
Fun and informative to watch! Thank you! And today my last day of cancer treatments! Yay! Your videos are inspiring me to follow yr steps if I can beat this. Keep up your hopeful bon voyage travels helping others to travel through your eyes. All the best!🙏🏖❤☘
Ahhh, great to see Hannah and Trey in your video. I love both sets of RUclipsrs' travel series around Europe and Asia. I find your slow travel and the costings super-interesting, and Probably Lost''s fast travel guides brilliant for planning weekend city breaks. Because of them, I have been to Sofia, Barcelona, Budapest and Copenhagen in the last few months!! I love your Chaing Mai vlogs. I climbed up to that temple as a 12 year old... and remember feeling sick when we got there!!
Thank you so much for watching! Hannah and Trey are amazing and have such a fun channel. It looks like you have a successful channel of your own!! Very cool!! Again, thank you for watching!! Cheers!!🍻
Another great video! Bypassed the scorpion for a burritto! The look on Brian's face early on when he had the beer was priceless! Cool to catch up with other VLOGgers! I think you two would be such a fun couple to hang with (and have a beer or two). Rockin' those new pants!! On both of the guys! Cheers to all.
We had such a great time with Hannah and Trey! Their a lot of fun and really good at what they do. Thank you so much for watching! Maybe one day we will have a scorpion for lunch! 😁
Love your videos. Thanks for sharing your take on Old Town vs. Niman. Is there any specific area within the Old Town that you would recommend? We are also planning a longish stay in Chiang Mai soon. Looking forward to many more videos.
Sorry, we did try to find a name for the area but couldn't find one, that was why I showed the map of old town and zoomed into the area. If you look up Lanna square that is the location we really liked in the old town area, and the footage we showed when walking around there. Hope that helps 😊
Love your videos! My wife and I look forward to them every Saturday morning. Just a suggestion - when you guys are trying street food vendors, we would love to see, every once in awhile, the vendor making your meal from start to finish, depending on how long it takes of course. Again, you guys are the best!!
That's a great suggestion and we are always looking at ways to improve content. We really appreciate the feedback and thank you both so much for watching ☺️
Totally cool if this isn’t a video you want to make Carrie. However, it is so obvious that Carrie stays in great shape. Brian you are very handsome, but I’m so interested in Carries routine while traveling. I think she does morning walks before the day starts. Carrie do you go to the gym, yoga, running, weights etc.? Just curious 🧐
Hi Noelle! I try to incorporate exercise how I can based on where we are staying. In Chiang Mai we had a gym in our building so we hit that most mornings. In our place in Croatia we we in a building with 18 floors, so I would do that 3 times each morning. If we have room in our Airbnb we will do workout videos on RUclips. I will also walk in the morning if that's the option but we walk a lot already (9 miles yesterday alone) so that's not my first choice 🤣🤣. It's not easy to keep a routine, but it's doable.
Thank you, Laurie! Hannah and Trey are an awesome couple!! We had so much fun hanging out with them. Thank you again for watching and commenting. Cheers 🍻
Great video guys, the temple is gorgeous and the view is pretty up there. Isn’t it great to meet up with fellow RUclipsrs? I saw a sign fried insects, wonder when are you releasing a video “Carrie is trying insects for the first time and couldn’t wait to try again”, lol😂. Anyhow I am just teasing, I wouldn’t touch them either. Hope you guys had fun, love travelling and make memories to last a lifetime. Cheers ❤ 🍻 ☀️
Love your videos. Great camera work, appreciate that you show the prices of your purchases, etc and that you share not only the positives but the potential challenges. Do you have a crew with you?
Thank you, Craig! We do not have a crew with us. We do everything ourselves from shooting the video to editing it. A process that we have had to learn as we go, we are getting faster at it but it can still be time-consuming. Thank you for watching and commenting! Cheers!!🍻
Great video! Loved seeing Brian rock the elephant pants! Thinking they need to make regular appearances going forward. Saturday and Sunday night markets are epic events that you definitely need to rest up for!
How fukn cool to run into other youtubers!!! Those two look fun to hang with! Great video as usual! And way to negotiate that red truck ride price Carrie! YOU ROCK! Miss and love you both! So looking forward to seeing you guys in May! Mmmwah! 😘😘
It was great to cross paths with some fellow RUclipsrs we'd been following for so long....had a great time! Can't wait to see you in May, it will be here before we know it ❤️❤️
Hi Brian and Carrie! What month was this video taken? Having second thoughts of coming to Chiang Mai in Feb or March due to burning season. Have you experienced any effects of it when you guys were there? Kudos to you guys for making awesome videos. My husband and I resonate with your travel style. More power!
We were there in January into early February. We had just started to be affected by the smoke by the time we left and do know Feb and March got much worse. We concluded that Dec and Jan seem to be the better months to be there. Hope that helps! Cheers 🍻
Hi Penny! Thank you so much, we are loving sharing Thailand with everyone. I actually just got these silver earrings when I was back home visiting family in Oregon...a wonderful gift from my sister in law 😍
Hi. Love following your Thailand vlogs. What time of year is your Chiang Mai video as we're are looking at next April and concerned about Burning season? xx
Thanks for all your great information. I have been following your channel from inception and really appreciate all the detailed info given. My husband and I are planning a trip to Thailand around November this year. Could you please give me some idea as to where in the Old Town we could investigate for accomodation. We would like an area within walking distance to eating places, night markets etc. Thanks so much.
Hi, Jeanette. Old Town isn't very big, and everything is within walking distance, we really liked Lanna Square. There are a number of nice boutique hotels to choose from. Thank you for supporting our channel, we really appreciate it. Cheers!!🍻
Great content as always! And thanks for introducing us to @ProbablyLost. We are considering planning our first trip to Thailand from the Eastern US - how many days would you suggest we need to cover at least Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and possibly Phuket? We're huge foodies and appreciate you taking us to all of the local markets.
We would say three days in each place. In Chaing Mai, you want to see all the temples plus you may want to go to the Elephant sanctuary, something that we didn't do. We saved our money for Ha Long Bay. Bangkok has day trips as well as temples that you don't want to miss. We really enjoyed both and the food is amazing!!! We are in Vietnam now and will be heading back to Southern Thailand in mid-March, Phuket we may visit in April. Thank you for watching and safe travels!! Cheers!!🍻
Hi Susie, thanks so much for watching! It's very cool to see so many solo travelers doing this kind of travel as well. Safe travels where your adventures take you. Cheers!!
If you are still in Chiang Mai - do check out the "Lemongrass" restaurant. Its a small home run eatery - fantastic food and service at very reasonable prices. We ate there every night during our visit to Chiang Mai around 10 years ago. Will be curious to know how you like it if you do go visit. On a side note, my wife and I (we are Americans as well) are enjoying following your journey - and learning from it. We are planning something similar - but with 2 kids - for 9 months. Keep up your great work, and safe travels!
We've already left unfortunately, but hopefully those viewers that plan to visit will see this suggestion. Thank you so much for watching and it sounds like you have some exciting adventures ahead
Great, as usual. We have just returned from five wonderfulbweeks inbthe Yucatan and are planning for Thailand later. There is one enhancement I would like you to consider when engaging food vendors. Jeanette (like many other viewers I think) is allergic to shellfish. Could you comment as you engage, whether the vendor takes that into account and prevents contamination of the NON shellfish meals please? Roger
Hi Roger, the street food venders probably are not able to avoid cross contamination. There are plenty of options that don't sell any kind of sea food to choose from, however. Peanut allergies would also be a big problem.
@Brian and Carrie Thanks so much. No peanut allergies, just the wife's shellfish one. We expected that you would say that. We have travelled to nearly 70 countries and territories worldwide and have been fortunate by taking commonsense precautions but always carrying her Epipens with us. I highly appreciate that you took the time to respond. Cheers. Roger
I think the commonsense precautions are best. It would be difficult to navigate the way you have with a food allergy. We did address it in a video coming out in a couple weeks. We did the boat cruise in Ha Long Bay and they are very accommodating and will have a separate menu for any guest for any reason. This is a good topic to touch on! We are drafting a video now for next Saturday and will address it. Thank you!! Cheers!!!🍻

What I did do on the last time home was set up Google Fi. I used it while home and then paused service as soon as we arrived. You can pause for 3 months at a time. This gives me local number banks recognize and if I need it I put in my Google Fi sim card, activate and I'm good to go. Not the easiest or cheapest solution but it's works for us. Hope that helps

I've been testing the various accounts that I use multi factor authentication with and not all worked using my Google Voice number.
