Sorry guys. I think you got a bad piece of durian. Even for (picky) Thai people, we have to get it from a reputable place or the seller we know. The ripeness can affect the flavor, smell, and texture big time. Some people like it when it’s young, firm, mild, medium, soft, pungent, etc. Anyway, please try again when you can find a legit source. They might even offer you to try using your finger to poke test for the firmness you prefer or eat a tiny piece before you agree to buy it. I love your videos. So glad you’ve come to my country. Good luck!
Cool video. Love the suit fitting footage. As for durian, it's not a good idea to buy packed boxes because you never know how long the durian has been placed in there. It's best to ask the seller to choose a good durian and chop it open in front of your eyes to taste it. Durians are yummie. It's a popular south-east asian fruit, either you love it, or you hate it. And I LOVE IT🙂
ICE. Crushed or tubular, it's the same stuff from the same ice factories. All ice factories use purified water to make both tubular ice and large blocks of ice. The large blocks are then crushed. The way the ice is handled can be the problem, not the ice itself.
This video is a gem! We’re off to Chiang Mai in December and everything here is extremely useful, especially the info on the markets, the coffees and the khao sois! Lovely stuff 😎
Lived in Chang my 8 years and have stayed in many hotels and owned 2 different houses also own 4 condominiums for rental investments. None of our residents ever had smelly water.
We've been watching SO many videos before our trip and really enjoyed this one! Thanks so much for a comprehensive guide and for keeping it fun. We leave on Dec. 4th (2024)! We'll be in Chiang Mai 8th-13th. Contemplating a day tour to Chiang Rai but hard to pick the *right* tour since it's such a long day.
Steve!!! You were the highlight of the whole video for us! 😂 Hope you guys enjoyed the rest of your honeymoon! From then on, you got me inspired to learn a bit more Thai haha 🧀
I am in Chiang Mai now. I Did Mae hong son loop for 5 days consecutive.i feel I falling in love with this city, everything is cheap. and Kao Sai is the favorite food the most. North Thai is the heaven of street food vendor.ough I just want stay here longer.

I'm so happy you had a great time in Chiang Mai! I couldn't wait to watch this video. One of your best, I think. Also, well done on finding an experience with rescue elephants. My day with elephants around Chiang Mai was hands down one of the best days of my life, but there are so many places that exploit them.
This Vlog was so relaxing and pleasant to watch and I watched the whole thing and I literally never finish a vlog! 🤣🤣 #adhd I'm going to Chiang Mai in Feb and now I'm super excited!!
I'm sorry the food is disgusting the weather terrible and it is expensive a shell go somewhere else try Bali or Hong Kong or Hawaii or Fiji you won't get sick just came back yesterday I'm in hospital my son in law was sick most of the trip my daughter was sick for 3 days my 2 year old gradaughter still got temperatures I thought I might not survive this trip there's much better courts to visit
Great stuff and thanks for helping us plan our trip! Where did you rent your bike? Do they have the 160cc bigger scooters? Any information will be helpful!
There are some nice local restaurants on the small soi's off Loh Kroh road....one of the best is about half way down, turn right on Soi 1, walk past the Number one bar and past the scooter hire shop to a small restaurant on the left called 'Aum and Camrons' ....excellent thai food and reasonably priced beer....a lot of the bar girls from Loh Kroh eat here and take aways are constantly leaving the shop to be delivered to girls working in the bars....
Appreciate the sharing:) I’m sooo hungry now. I’m no where as fit as either of you! Trying to step up my game get my endurance back with walking, better cardio health and trim some extra off. As like yous I love eating. Thou it’s sweet to see you’ve both got a hungry for food yet are really active with great looking bodies! Way to stay fit dudes 😉 My mind is set on Thailand for spring break. Seeing videos like yours has me more convinced & motivated. Thanks ✌🏽
great video. Which country are you from. I am planning to go to Chiang mai for a month for an internship. How much should I take for (transport in taxis, food, and excursions)
This is one of the best video I have watched thank you for sharing the different spots things to do how to get around, etc. can you please let me know where you got your long sleeves, shirts and shorts they look very light and comfortable. I am planning on coming to Thailand in January, and do not want to be baking the sun by buying the wrong material, thanks. And by the way, these suits are definitely James Bond suits.
There are massage places in bangkok that are 3 bucks an hour I know of 3-4 of them. I was literally getting 2 hours of massages everyday after waking up.
Hi Guys..............loved your video ...............cycling up there in November.......Hong Song Mae loop and then into Laos...........keep up the good work....cheers
Hey. I am thinking on doing the cooking class. May seems to be one of the classes, my concern is the amount of people she allows in each class. It seems as having too many people, for it to not be as personalised. What are your thoughts? Thanks
We’re going to visit Thailand in November. Going to stay six days in Bangkok and want to go to Chiang Mai. What is the best transportation to get there? Thanks.
One of my favorites in Thailand and I think the best part was missed. The weather. The other popular area's are so hot. I also found the locals much friendlier.

chiang mai is the very best part of thailand. however the smoke season killed which can take up to 4 months when lot of people forced to leave the city.
Song Thaew's are not the same as Tuk-Tuks but are cheap to get around the City usually about 30 baht - Tuk -Tuks are smaller for 2 or 3 people and you need to negotiate a price.
Thailand is absolutely an amazing country and Thai elephants are so cute. They deserved to be spoiled in every direction from humans. After all people and nature must learn to live together peacefully a lot better than how cruelly mankind have been acting in the past. Love your over views on showing us the whole gist of exciting experiences in the northern province-Chiangmai. Till date we are still wondering when are we foreigners going to start calling Bangkok by its real name, or has it become too late for the u turn. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this peaceful land of smiles for sure, even with that bone crushing and cracking Thai massage.😅😊❤

HAHAHA, the Huay Kaew Rd motorcycle stop. How cool is it that they let you continue on. Not gonna happen back home. It was there today. They just wave me through cause i have a real helmet and they can see I am not on a rental. No helmet, crap helmet and rental bike is a flag to get pulled over.
