Ford had the right idea back about 2008 when they put a small space behind the seat in their regular cabs. But then they stupidly stopped making them. A regular cab has very little storage in it.
The more offroading I do, the more I appreciate non-lifted vehicles. That truck with that wheelbase was probably more capable in stock form than it is now. In my experience, all a lift really does for you in the end is increase your center of gravity, increase wear on rotating components, and decrease ride comfort. Especially a cosmetic lift like this where you really don't do anything to add suspension travel. That big crossmember in the front, yeah that's just waiting to be snagged by a big rock. The blocks on the rear axle, all those are going to do is induce axle wrap, especially if you're hung up in a precarious spot in 4 low.
Single cab XLT definitely rare. I've never seen one. I bought an STX fx4 because I couldn't find XLT single cab. Love the wheel color too. I think they would look good on white or race red also. Great , honest walk around Mitchell. Thank you.

High end suspension systems don’t use 4” lift blocks, that truck wasn’t designed for a block that tall, with light leaf springs on a half ton the axle wrap is going to be bad if you actually try to use that suspension off road uphills or pulling something .
