lildecable you judge him for playing a game how he wants to play it, i know it's about stealth but come on,complaining about it doesn't make him change his ways :P
Conviction and pandora tomorrow were the best splinter cells. At least in my opinion. But I don't see why many people don't like conviction that much. It was a good game.
Well, I like all the games really, but as for playability I like the new ones, as they just flow better. He does exactly what I want him to do in the exact manner and speed. He's lethal, instead of lazily getting stuck on every object in the map. Sometimes I feel it's highly unreal that he can hand hang and "run on the walls" like he does. But when you see the endless control you can get I just instantly fell in love with this "predator" kind of approach. Sam Fisher never seemed deadly to me in the games up to maybe Double Agent. But his humour is not as deadly as it was. And when Michael Ironside was taken off as voice actor, my heart bled. But overall, the series has been the one I have followed and enjoyed the most, following the development and possibilities of the console it's on in an excellent fashion.
I like the way Conviction helps you detect if it's light or not, but sometimes I want to disable the black and white thing, and sometimes it's not even that dark and it gets gray.
For me the fun part is that it started out as a 'shouting' game, with a stealth part in it, but still and it went more and more to the stealth side (Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory)of the game and then it was getting more and more hostile again (Double Agent not so much, but Conviction is) and that is what makes it a fun serie.
Ive loved this series, and remember playing the first game as a kid. That game was so intense I used to piss myself while hiding in the shadows praying I wouldnt be spotted. I liked Conviction too, but it never did that to me
Everyone gives the new double agent flak, but I really liked it. The Shanghai mission where you are on the outer side of the skyscraper and the Kinshasa levels are really good. It definitely comes in ahead of SC1, Pandora, and Conviction. I just replayed Conviction's campaign, and compared to Blacklist, you really have to question why Conviction is even in the "stealth" genre at times.
Do you click them? Because only then youtubers get paid. In the end you would have to buy the product because if the ad will be uneffective, then nobody will want to advertise.
chaos theory was the splinter cell game that got all the pieces of the puzzle correct. Accurate way of demonstrating noise and light, plus enemy AI that was decent (remember it was 2005), amazing story, plus natural feeling controls...
No, I know that, but I'm saying the game is MUCH more fun when you 'ghost' your way around missions. Passing a mission with zero KO's and zero kills, zero alarms, and just no sign of you ever being there is such a satisfying feeling.
@ose007 chaos theory was not with blacklist (upcoming game) the first trailer of gameplay maybe firefights from conviction but there is a stealth trailer with the same level using total stealth.
I think that conviction is a big leap from the original gameplay of the game but it fitted in well! If you think about it he isn't working with Third Echlon anymore so it wouldn't make sense for him to move around with the same spy equipment and stealth as in the previous versions. Sam Fisher wants answers and this time he's the one leading his own missions so making noise and giving away alarms isn't a problem because he won't blow his cover.
I don't know why people are pissed at the recent and upcoming entry to this series. Yes, you can run and gun but that gives a higher chance of getting shot to shit, and the fact that you can hide in shadows is still present (at least in conviction) stealth is still a big part of the game but it also manages to nail cinematic pieces of the game. Which, to me, makes Conviction and Black list honorable entries to the series. I have played the original, Double Agent, and Conviction fyi.
i love the Splinter Cell Games for the original Xbox. I can't believe, how this poor little thing could handle the graphics, it had dynamic shadows and stuff...
I played through Double Agent's final missions just by killing everything and everyone, and I didn't really notice a real penalty. Conviction I haven't played, but judging from the gameplay videos I've seen it's not that different. Also, the green/yellow/red shade-indicator system sucks, Chaos Theory just did it better. And why did they remove the sound indicator?
you're not supposed to headshot people. splinter cell is all about sneaking past guys or knocking them out. "Your firearm should always be a last resort" -Lambert
I played all instalments and for me conviction has the best game play, animation, graphics, score and enemy AI.. cant wait for the upcoming splinter cell :))
They should make it where you have to turn off your night vision goggles or else they could spot you if they looked right at you. I've thought the same thing.
"you're not supposed to kill or even knock people out in Splinter Cell games unless you have to" Nope....you can knock em out if you like (it does not say anywhere that you can't and Mission rating is unaffected by knock outs)
Me too, just switch DA and PT around. well, actually, keep DA at 4, switch PT and Original around. it goes like this: #5 Conviction #4 Double Agent (actually good, just annoying trust meters) #3 Original #2 PT (its just weird, idk how to explain, I like it alot) #1 Chaos Theory
Hopefully after a decent attempt at returning to Splinter Cell's roots, Ubisoft makes the next one even better. Also, R.I.P Tom, you will be missed, and you will be remembered.
Actually you can kill in the 2nd level, the end of the 4th level, the 5th level, the 6th level, the 7th level, and some people on the 8th level. So don't say you can't kill ANYBODY until the 8th level. Plus, you're not supposed to kill or even knock people out in Splinter Cell games unless you have to.
Both versions of Splinter Cell DA came out in 2006, but there was a version for PS2/Xbox/GC and the version for PC/X360/PS3. The story was different, bigger and better on oldgen. The nextgen version was only graphics and bugs(at least on PC).
1. Chaos Theory 2. Double Agent 3. Splinter Cell 4. Conviction 5. Pandora Tomorrow (Riddled with bugs and I hate some of the voice actors) 6. Blacklist (I never played it so it's possible it can be moved up when I do)
hoodzeo The voice actors though... it just sucks to play every other game in the series then go to PT and just hear someone that makes heavy breathes after every sentence
+Watch Fox honestly I can look past that, and I've played all of them except double agent (although I am watching a playthrough) and blacklist. But the more I play the original and ct, the more I like those games more, I ai in pt really killed it for me
You go back and listen to the dev diaries of those who work on SC1 and SC:PT and they explain how the spirit of the games is to push the boundries of game by creating something new and fresh. Every SC game has done that wether it be #1 with light in games or SC:CT with graphics or SC:C with its revolutionary speed stealth gameplay. If anything by evolving the stealth genre Conviction was the most true in spirit to the series.
It was painful to watch this, playing the games like shooters......
bad execution of a stealth game
Yeah might as well have been Call of Duty hahaha
let him play the game how he wants to play it
Hunter (Wordawordb) That is the stupidest comment...
lildecable you judge him for playing a game how he wants to play it, i know it's about stealth but come on,complaining about it doesn't make him change his ways :P
You should call this "worst splinter cell player"..........
Chaos theory and blacklist is my favorite :)
The first Splinter Cell is the best and always amazing. Can't get enough of it.
Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory and Blacklist are my favourites in the whole series.
Conviction and pandora tomorrow were the best splinter cells. At least in my opinion. But I don't see why many people don't like conviction that much. It was a good game.
It was a call of duty game and not a splinter cell game so logic
Double Agent was the best.
I'm really suprised you feel that way did you play them all?
I only didnt play SC Blacklist, 'cus its the worst of all
@@TRDogukan61
Conviction and Double Agent (PS3 version) are the worst
Chaos Theory, Double Agent PS2 and Blacklist are the best
Chaos theory is better
Blacklist and double agent. had a lot of fun memories on double agent, blacklist I just like because it's newer and more fun.
Well, I like all the games really, but as for playability I like the new ones, as they just flow better. He does exactly what I want him to do in the exact manner and speed. Funny how I got the new splinter cell ad just before this video started
What order should I play these in.
Pandora Tomorrow was my fav hands down, cant even tell you how many times i played it
lol the video title should be "history of a guy playing the splinter cell games terribly"
I remember me & my brother staying up all night to finish this games :')
Ct, da, and c are my favorite right now, august cant come fast enough.
Yea, really challenging. I remember getting really frustrated with Pandora tomorrow around the 10th mission lol
Ive loved this series, and remember playing the first game as a kid. That game was so intense I used to piss myself while hiding in the shadows praying I wouldnt be spotted. I liked Conviction too, but it never did that to me

@ose007 i get it that yeah double agent kinda sucked but explain to me how conviction did not involve stealth at all?
Do you click them? Because only then youtubers get paid. In the end you would have to buy the product because if the ad will be uneffective, then nobody will want to advertise.
chaos theory was the splinter cell game that got all the pieces of the puzzle correct. Accurate way of demonstrating noise and light, plus enemy AI that was decent (remember it was 2005), amazing story, plus natural feeling controls...
Could you link me to the original version, i want to see what it looked like.
why did the graphics get worse at one point?
But the screen is what? 6"? The resolution is really low so it looks bad when you widen it on RUclips screen.
No, I know that, but I'm saying the game is MUCH more fun when you 'ghost' your way around missions. Passing a mission with zero KO's and zero kills, zero alarms, and just no sign of you ever being there is such a satisfying feeling.
Check out my piano rendition of Splinter Cell 2 and Rainbow Six Black Arrow!
Blacklist IS AMAZING but to top it all off IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOLD!! with Sam's old voice
He's playing these games without ANY stealth :D
I never had the full Chaos Theory game, I just had the demo disc that came with every Xbox magazine issue. Played the shit out of it though!
My favorite is is is is all the Splinter Cell im súper fan of the saga,Úbisoft we need a new one please •:)
Conviction, Blacklist
Well, Conviction you could be stealthy, but there wasn't a huge drawback if you weren't.
1) Chaos Theory
2) Blacklist and Double Agent PS2
3) Splinter Cell
4) Pandora Tomorrow
5) Conviction
6) Double Agent Xbox/PC
He (or she) didn't give me the impression that he/she was a stealth person... ha ha.
at 22.August.2013 comms Splinter Cell: Black List. From Orginal to Conviction and than From Conviction to Orginal ;-)
@ose007 chaos theory was not with blacklist (upcoming game) the first trailer of gameplay maybe firefights from conviction but there is a stealth trailer with the same level using total stealth.
damn so many memories with these games all the way up to chaos theory...
read the date that this video was uploaded, it wasnt announced until E3
Pandora Tommorow and Chaos Theory are my favorite Splinter Cell games... :)
Time to install chaos theory again.
I think that conviction is a big leap from the original gameplay of the game but it fitted in well! chaos theory was damn near perfect the best one

RIGHT ESPECIALLY @ 6:16 LMFAO xD

what is Splinter Cell Essentials? It looks like the PS2 version of Chaos Theory.
When i was kid i played alot of pandora tommorw on ps2. I never really finished the game :(
Double Agent was epic. untill you past the intro mission then they threw out the stealth mechanic.
you're not supposed to headshot people. splinter cell is all about sneaking past guys or knocking them out.
"Your firearm should always be a last resort" -Lambert
I played all instalments and for me conviction has the best game play, animation, graphics, score and enemy AI.. cant wait for the upcoming splinter cell :))
any questions?
They should make it where you have to turn off your night vision goggles or else they could spot you if they looked right at you. I've thought the same thing.

My favs is padora tomorrow, splinter cell 1, blacklist, chaos theory, almost all of the games
I completed Splinter Cell 1 yesterday.Cool game. Now I am downloading Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow.
Am I the only one who rages every time he shoots someone? So much for stealth I suppose.
Hopefully after a decent attempt at returning to Splinter Cell's roots, Ubisoft makes the next one even better. Also, R.I.P Tom, you will be missed, and you will be remembered.
First Splinter Cell was the best , thumbs up
funny that you still don't block ads on yutube
I played Double Agent on the PS2, so i never got to fully experience the game. :(
The first splinter cell is the best it is so fucking hard and has really cool missions and awesome ways to sneack past enemys
guy whos playing this for the 1st time wont create history of SC games just like that,he must be a dedicated fan to do this shyeet
he gave me HEARTATTACK at 1:45
i miss all the games, my fav is chaos theroy, butall of them where great
Pandora Tomorrow+Chaos Theory... Nuff to satisfy me for a good month or two.
Of course. I've played all the games of the series since the original to double agent and I am trying to get conviction before blacklist
But you have played Splinter Cell,Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory?
5:21 Look to the objectif: Use Detonators to blow the ice wall. your in the ship, you completed this objectif.
Conviction was more like action film, than stealth game. But still, it was cool and level desing was awesome.
What about Blacklist that's coming out?
Both versions of Splinter Cell DA came out in 2006, but there was a version for PS2/Xbox/GC and the version for PC/X360/PS3. The story was different, bigger and better on oldgen. The nextgen version was only graphics and bugs(at least on PC).
1. Chaos Theory
2. Double Agent
3. Splinter Cell
4. Conviction
5. Pandora Tomorrow (Riddled with bugs and I hate some of the voice actors)
6. Blacklist (I never played it so it's possible it can be moved up when I do)
I actually like pandora tomorrow, but I will admit the ai in this game I fucking hate
hoodzeo The voice actors though... it just sucks to play every other game in the series then go to PT and just hear someone that makes heavy breathes after every sentence
+Watch Fox honestly I can look past that, and I've played all of them except double agent (although I am watching a playthrough) and blacklist. But the more I play the original and ct, the more I like those games more, I ai in pt really killed it for me
1) Chaos Theory
2) Blacklist and Double Agent PS2
3) Splinter Cell 1
4) Pandora Tomorrow
5) Conviction
6) Double Agent Xbox/PC
Chaos Theory was the last stealth game of this series.
and how do you know that?
what the hell i did not know there was a splinter cell game for the PSP
Well, have you or haven't you? Then you would understand that a real Splinter Cell wouldn't even need this feature at ALL!
The life of splinter cell.
The best saga
i love splinter cell
5:45 so kommt man geräuschlos durch die Tür :D
This blablue is like : WTF is stealth???
If only those games had mark and execute and execute in motion, they could have been one of the best games ever. Hit like if you agree!
You go back and listen to the dev diaries of those who work on SC1 and SC:PT and they explain how the spirit of the games is to push the boundries of game by creating something new and fresh. ik,but he should update it once it comes out.
good job getting my point.
u never seen me playing splinter cell XD
So true!
Sam's aim with the pistol in the first game is horrible you cud be aiming directly at something and miss it.. lol
I hope you noticed that this was uploaded in 2010.
