- Note! I made a mistake (typo) - Doom 3 BFG was released in 2012, not in 2005. Sorry.

Doom is a series of first-person shooter video games developed by id Software. The series focuses on the exploits of an unnamed space marine operating under the auspices of Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC), who fights hordes of demons and the undead in order to survive.
Doom is considered to be one of the pioneering first-person shooter games, introducing to IBM-compatible computers features such as 3D graphics, third dimension spatiality, networked multiplayer gameplay, and support for player-created modifications with the Doom WAD format. Since the release of Doom in 1993, the series has spawned numerous sequels, expansion packs, and a film.

Finally a History of Doom video that uses footage from the original vanilla version.
This is a very nice video, you managed to include every single release in the Doom universe which is not easy to do. Very solid games all of them but in my opinion, Doom 3 is the best of them all. Many people didn't like it because it wasn't true to the older games and to be honest, it really wasn't, but it was a masterpiece of it's own.
Best "History of" videos, in my opinion.
you are back! I like this videos
on 8:45 it says BGF instead of BFG,that's another typo. But i really enjoyed this video, especially the music!
Doom 3 was criticised!? News to me... I loved that game. First doom to actually scare you and not just about gore.
+bellers01 it was, by the old school fans. Just search the Doom group on Facebook, and you will know what I mean! Personally, I like it very much!
original doom games give me motion sickness when playing them
You somehow messed up the release year of Doom 3 BFG. I don't know if it was 2011 or 2012, but definitely not 2005 :)
Nevertheless a good video!
+TeppichPilot Damn, you're right, I'm sorry! It was supposed to be 2012.. I watched the video dozens of times before uploading and still managed to miss the mistake. Thank you for pointing that out.
+blablue123 No problem, it's the same mistake everyone does when getting too far into details :)))
New Doom looks like very good.
good very good than history of doom in 2013
Gr8 video m8, I r8 8/8
I really wish i could play those RPGs.
*rpg* ? *lol*
+Micropoint yep, they did two Doom RPGs and a Wolfenstein RPG
Critical Kaiju wolfenstein 3d ?
Tell me why the first soom is rated M
ok so you're not dead
Honestly some later releases of the saga were really terrible! 🤢 Perhaps the 2016 reboot was a good game, maybe I'll try it someday...
no mention of the movie at all?
+Critical Kaiju We don't talk about that.
the film was not that bad
+CATXXXMAN not that bad? Seriously? ok first of all the DOOM movie has nothing to do with the game and second of all the space marine from the game wasn't even in the move plus instead of the demon creatures coming from hell like in the game they came from a science experiment gone wrong smh but I do have to admit the creatures from the game did look spot on in the movie but that's beyond the point and not to mention the possessed space marines from the game weren't in the movie like really how can you call a video game movie adaption like doom yet you don't follow the game plot which is very simple and not that hard by the way plus you don't put all the doom game elements in the movie and space marine is not in it? Smh.
Bmendez378 i no what your saying but the chainsaw was in the movie the first person aspect was in the movie one of the monsters in the movie was in the game but yes i do agree that the monsters were a science experiment did not come from hell
Y BRUTAL DOOM ?
Like the video very good history of game, but you missed Doom on SNES
