Here in Las Vegas I can find new 2024 base model crew cab 4x4 diesel’s for $55k for Rams, 61k for Ford and over $70k for Chevy’s. Prices have been going up every month consistently and winter sales were pretty terrible. Tried to find something for $1,200 a month $0 down and my credit is too bad to make it happen. Good thing though because my job started cutting everyone’s hours in half for the past month because whoever is doing inventory doesn’t know what they are doing. That is the same I pay for rent in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment and my mom just bought a 1 bedroom condo because she’s insane apparently and pays $1,400 that’s crazy she’s paying more than we are for much less no storage or garage and I have both of those.
I bought a 2014 ram hemi in 2015. I have replaced the fuel level since twice and ram refuses to do a recall. Now I want to buy another truck and I see that hemi is no longer being offered. They ruined a good thing. Next truck will be a Silverado.
New vehicles are just too expensive. A couple of years ago I bought a 4wd 2013 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman for a little over $20,000 and it will do everything that I would do with a $40k truck at half the price. Near the end of 2024, a nearby jeep dodge ram Chrysler dealership sent me a letter saying that they would pay off my grand caravan with the purchase of a new 24 or 25 vehicle. If Ram had brought the Ram Rampage to the US, I would have traded in, but the mpg of the gladiator stopped me from trading in because I need to keep the same mpg as a daily driver. My local jeep dodge ram dealership closed the used lot and has new and used on the same lot.
Most people are afraid to spend that kind of money waiting for the crash that's never gonna happen, and those with the money are waiting for the crash that's never gonna happen. In either case these auto makers need to stop re writing the rules of supply and demand.
Red seat stitching is only $2000 more per month. Same drive train as the cheaper one. Why would someone pay more just to have something to brag about? They gave up on steaks to have red stitching. Add in a couple hundred a month for insurance on top of the price of the truck. I'm good with the tiny display. I had the new Toyota for a couple months before realizing there was a back up camera. I work 7 days a week to make the payments but look at the size of that display!
In 2020 when I walked into the floor and saw most Ram at $58-66000K and I laughed hard thinking no one would buy it at that price. Today, I pay to see that price again 😂
Well, we know they’re not selling in California because the dealers still have 10 K dealers markups on 23 and 24s won’t budge on the prices and won’t give us the the factory rebates they keep them too. That’s why dealers are not selling in California because of greed.
$145k for a half ton truck 😂😂😂😂😂LMAO LOL, that's ridiculous,,I could get an RV for that price 😅 😂 LMAO. Like you said $1861/month payment, if I had that kind of cash to spare every month I would buy a house
Yes those are some crazy prices, I can’t believe what they are charging! But who is more ridiculous, the sellers or those buying these units? Lol. Thanks again Vincent
No thank you. I been saving up like 20 many 25 large and paying cash. No interest great vehicle maby under 50 thousand miles. like 1/2 price. I can save that cash in 2 years . Just start saving while you car is still in good condition. You be surprised the deal you get when you don't NEED to buy now.
Ram quality is no better or worst than Ford or GM. Ford and GM sell a lot of fleet vehicles. In fact the majority are fleet. Ram and Toyota aren't big players in that game. Having said that, Ram isn't more expensive than the competition. They are all overpriced . The issue for Ram is the Hemi V8s. The benefit of buying a RAM was the bullet proof Hemi. That's gone so sales are gone. "Hemi tick" 😂😂😂 how about the GM lifter issues, dozens of recalls on the Ford ECO-CRAP, even Toyota recalled 100,000 Tundra engines 😂😂😂
Rams and ford trucks are made as work horse. Not for show boating like Lamborghini. They lost their minds. American cars are today’s junk cars. Sadly, Even the Hyundai is better quality than a US made cars. Looks are worst for American cars. I use to love American cars, I wouldn’t spend a thousand on them low quality cars. No sir, I’ll invest in Toyota, Nissan, or Audi.

Wow these OEMs are out of touch

Nice looking truck, yeah it will look great being towed to the shop every other day
Thanks for sharing
You can take a longer loan if you need to but if you do, make higher payments toward your principal so you can pay off sooner.
Indeed it’s better to go to a shorter term

It’s great that you’re able to get good value out of your older truck!
They are also not selling because deceptive sales tactics like dealer added options or market adjustments . Those are just slaps in the face to us .

Agreed
@@NM5037-r3y it's the banks money
No V8 and super high prices. Pretty simple why no one is buying
Hahaha, I love it. Can’t wait to see the $150,000 basic pick up in a few years.
Ridiculous

Because they get stolen a lot where I live and insurance is through the roof on them.
Yes that’s on the rise
In 2020 when I walked into the floor and saw most Ram at $58-66000K and I laughed hard thinking no one would buy it at that price.
Today, I pay to see that price again 😂
That must of hurt walking into the floor lol
Don't forget Mark, these trucks are equipped with planned obsolescence 😅😅😂😂LMAO
Haha true there Vincent. Yes there is a finite amount of miles and the. It’s too expensive to repair
Same reason Toyota trucks aren't selling!
That is an interesting point!
My 2023 Ram Hemi🎉 with 8000 miles on it. I lost 30k in depreciation in the first year of ownership. Why would anyone buy another one!
Yes they are not great investments
NO V-8 engine. You're welcome.
Yes the lack of a V8 is a huge factor in why people are not buying.
Interest and insurance rates need to come down for all vehicles!
Yes indeed

Sticky spot for car dealers
RAM is not selling because they are stupid and removed the V8 line up.
😂😂😂😂😂😂wrong
Those are literally the trucks they can’t sell
They barely released the hurricane rams
That's one reason, the other reason is low quality and high prices
@@diegoharo7943 no they are literally not
It's the price and the v6
For sure those are some huge reasons
The prices you are quoting are ridiculous. I promise, I will keep the two SUVs and 2500 pickup I already own repaired and running for 25 more years.
I agree with you, it seems like the public is saying they don't want to play.
It's simple, nobody is going to Pay $100,000 for a Pickup...
I can’t afford it
For being v6 this trucks should be more than half price out the lot
Nice
There’re too expensive and don’t last long.
Yes its like pouring money down the money pit
I bought a brand new 2012 crewcab f150 xlt loaded 2x4 for 30k back in 2012 😂😂
Same truck now is over 50k plus 😂😂
Simple Answer: No HEMI, No Sale...😊
I agree with you, they really need to bring back the old classics.
Car industry layoffs started months ago and its only going to get worse...........

@markholubetz the buyer is crazier, it allows the stealerships to charge that price if people keep paying it
Why would anyone want to chance the Tavares 3.0 engine?
There are some people but yes that’s another reason
Sales were down long before the new ram
@@diegoharo7943 And did sales stabilize with the Tavares vision?
@ lol prices went up under Tim who’s back in charge
@ ironically their best selling vehicles are actually hybrids (jeep)
No thank you. I been saving up like 20 many 25 large and paying cash. No interest great vehicle maby under 50 thousand miles.

Cheers

They are all the same
Stellantest is going out of bitness.
Well…..
Have they lost their minds. My house didn't cost that much lol.
Cheers
Volkswagens new little van is 90 grand lmfao.
Haha ouch
Even 50 percent price cut don't work. Sorry.
That's a big drop, but maybe it's time to think outside the box on what to do next.
Why isn't ram selling? I mean I can think of a few reasons right off the top of ny head. 😂

Damn
Dont waist your money guys
Thanks
No Problem Brother @markholubetz
Because v6’s are G**
$4500/month payment???,😮🫣🤢😵
Every month your basically paying like one auto worker monthly wage if car payment is 4500 a month
@stevengiroux1753 yeah, it's crazy 🤪
It’s criminal really. People need to stop buying this crap
@markholubetz exactly my thoughts
