Cap, there's no current way for the AI to use TALDs correctly as an action in the mission editor. As you saw, they use it as other munitions, with the F-14 diving down and the TALDs going on weird (and low) trajectories. I hope that ED corrects this and creates a new AI task when the Hornet gets the TALD.
Cap, could one just play around with the mission edited and run missions and a good time with DCS while saving up to buy planes and hardware and learning to fly?
Nice video. I have a problem JDAM only work on the Caucrsus map(i have all the maps) and the AGM 154 miss the target by miles on all the maps. DCS said it must be a bug, they were not very helpful. Have you heard of this? Any suggestions? Not tried the AI like you did. comp I7 32 meg ram GTX 1080
I do not have the problems you are talking about, both JDAMs and JSOWs work on both maps for me. Have you made sure the guidance systems are aligned? Have you made sure your coordinates are actually correct? Have you made sure to release within parameters, and not just straight on the edge of it's capable envelope? You can use waypoints and designate them as targets if you don't feel like sitting around and entering coordinates.
