Yes, please!! More horror-focused content would be much appreciated!
AMEN
Horror is my escape. The more stress I am under the horror I enjoy!
Great selections to start with. One of the great appeals to horror is “ less is more…!”.
As well as ‘The village of the damned’- Martin Stephen’s (the kid from VotD) is amazing in ‘The innocents’ by Jack Clayton- where he is once against amazing as a terrifying yet super tragic kid. An underrated horror film of the early 60s,definitely check it out if you haven’t already!
Awesome!! I always look forward to your videos, thank you so much for your work!! 😄❤️
I love this channel so much great video ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love horror movies 😀
Village of the Damned is (in my opinion) one of the 10 best horror movies ever made
Excellent choices, these two films had a major impact on me as a kid in the 70's, and they still stand up today for highly effective creepy atmosphere.
The Haunting, Carnival of Souls, Night of the Living Dead and Black Sunday( Italian b/w 1960 Mario Bava) are among my favorite movies
I like how the video gives context for films in the era before jumping right into the list. Much appreciated
Super video as always, thanks !
SPOILERS : I watched Psycho for the first time a few weeks ago, and what a film !! Even if I knew the story, it really was greatly done and very a tour de force to kill the main character in the end of the first half of the film. Brilliant acting and music too !
I didn't even know that 1999's The Haunting. Have to see the original, without that CGI
I adore every single video you dedicate to talking about horror
My guesses on the last 4 films are Psycho, Rosemary's Baby, Night Of The Living Dead and The Birds.
Repulsion by polanski might be in the list...great way to show character descending into madness (btw the whole apartment trilogy is goated)
Close! You got three right, the fourth is....yeah, influential, but just kind of blah. Repulsion is a great example, as is The Birds! It seems like they skimped on the 60's.
Great job
Your videos are crack man, such amazing job
The Sinners of Hell is also one of the best horror movies i've seen from the 60's
Kwaidan too
I sinxcerely hope The Carnival of Souls will be mentioned in part 2, love this atmospheric movie
Really interesting video
Where do you find and watch these films?
A lot of them are up for renting on RUclips. Criterion has Night of the Living Dead. Tubi tv has Peeping Tom
@@Screened Thanks! I'll make sure to check on YT first :)
Agreed.
i love cerea l
Why mention The Innocents then not include it in your influential horror movies? It's every bit as influential as most of these films (I would except Psycho and Night of the Living Dead). Just seems kind of odd that you didn't include it.
That's one long ad..
Yep, considering this video is merely 8 minutes long and the commercial takes up more than a minute of that ... it's not good.
Seems a bit too disposable, with nothing to teach or learn from. Just regurgitation of trivial information.
