@@rodintoulouse3054 There's some EBC ones that will fit the front caliper. Not sure about the back. I'll have to look up the part number for the EBC ones. Not done mine yet.
I see, have they simply reached the mileage where replacement is due, or is there another reason? I ask because I have a TC Max with about 3k miles on it, it has a slight vibration at low speed high torque that I am trying to figure out.
I believe so, i checked it following your other excellent video, it was quite slack and tightening it made a difference to the feel of the bike, but didn't stop the noise. The noise only happens in wet weather and is hard to reproduce as it needs both wet weather and resistance to the motor (it doesn't happen when the bike is on stands) sounds like a subway train pulling away up to about 10mph then nothing at speed. I'm not overly worried about it, just curious if this one in the video was being replaced for reasons other than mileage on the off chance it was being noisy like mine. Thanks for again for both videos.
@@robertstothard9583 That's weird. Sounds like you might be in the right area if it changes in the wet. My bike makes a bit of a clicky noise from the belt. Never had any vibration though on any of the bikes I've ridden.
Hi, do you replace both pulleys and belt at the same time or just the front pulley? Where do you buy all of the parts from? On another note, took the battery out and fully charged it in my house, so cold weather not an issue. Not been able to get out since then so about 4-5weeks Put battery in yesterday and it's showing 87%! A loss of 13% in 4-5weeks! That sounds high to me what do you think? Cheers
Hi, yes you should replace belt and pulleys together. I get my parts direct from vmoto. Just send them an email if you don't have a local dealer. That seems a lot of self discharge given you removed it from the bike. I have my spare battery charged to around 50% and it hardly loses anything. I've left it for months before. Maybe try 50% and monitor what it does?
@@thecapacitator8137 why do you recommend here to replace the rear pulley? You mean the front pulley since that one should be replaced once the belt is changed, right? Think I've seen it. An advantage could be the ability to change the gear ratio. I can't really think of any others. Belt is quieter, lasts longer, has minimal maintenance and is much cleaner.

Hi, great videos on the tc max. I'm curious as to why you are replacing the belt.
