I Love that Dana is getting a chance to do a guest run. You can tell how much SNL means to him and he is such an important piece of SNL history, I’m glad he’s getting to scratch that itch again. Honestly, Dana could be a cast member again if they wanted to do it. I’d like to see SNL bring back former cast members for a season at a time.
Those legends don't want to taint their great legacies by being dragged down by the current level of SNL (minimal) talent. Mikey Day, Michael Che, Heidi Gardner & Kenan Thompson are the only cast members with any real comedic talent imho.
My wife and I have been binge watching “Just Shoot Me” over the last couple weeks, and it has us rolling, it was such a wonderful show!! Spade’s one liners and quips were awesome and a definite highlight every episode!!!

Not kidding that was the best SNL ep in a LONG time. Its been a little rough the last few years even with 2 or 3 insanely funny people. Idk something just hasn't been good about it. As a whole. But that fucking episode was balls to the wall incredible. Love both these dudes.

When she was on Designing Women (as you mentioned in the last episode), I loved getting to see a different dimension of her as an actress, too. I love how much Dana Carvey reveals about his visit(and future visits!) back to SNL. The impressions are part of why these podcasts are really the best out there. It is such a privilege getting to see someone make something so confusing(this high school competition rather than collaboration to truly see what is best for us) play out into something so entertaining that the masses really truly need. Thank you so much for that.👏 The behind-the-scenes about the water and throw-up: I can't believe how hard it would be working with unpredictable hoses and *not* do it far too early. I'd never be able to. That would be the end. I'd just hide in a hole after that, forever. So glad the delay really was a "misstep" that worked out and we got to hear it here first! 🎉 Now that "Lorne saying it" was mentioned, I realize David Spade having hinted at the ghost thing was amazingly discreet. Whetting our appetite for some Dana Carvey on SNL. Clever man. I hope he gets to come back sometime soon, as well! It is lovely to see these two amazing people. The photos to reference the backstage memories were so cool! The hot dog lady is so fun(as David says his mother likes to say about everything😄). What a great sport. "Came so fast..." David with the dirty jokes gets me every time. 💀 What David said about the Frankie Valli TikTok(or Instagram reel) with the guy's head "for views" was hilarious... especially because of how often we see that and all we really want is to see the original. Led Zeppelin at 100. 😂 The Kylie Jenner lip thing was hilarious. I have seen a lot of successful ladies who work with strange companies, like did you know the Kardashians have a church? I hear that's a great way to make some bucks, but Dana's good impression of them makes me wish I was still amazed and not jaded by those RUclips videos showing me my favorite people aren't as lovely as I first perceived. 🙃 Listening to the way they catch us up on current events from this more personal perspective with a positive light and humor is so refreshing. 😊 The story about David's mom and Dana talking about his travels. With the staircase workout, the alarm bit they did was fantastic on both ends -the ending with "save some milk for the kitty"😂 - , and the potential for a hotel neighbor's complaint(lol) are lovely tidbits. They remind me of why I have always gravitated to hearing about performers outside of their acts, like on (podcasts like these and) interviews. Ps: David is looking *hot* , no "TikTok hair"🥦🤭. I would have also loved if Dana had been in Ratatouille; I wonder if Remy would have been a completely different character, had it been him. ❤ Love Dana and David, and their production teams! Thank you for making everything possible. Their families are so funny in these stories, too. 😂

It's going to keep getting funnier for me as the years go on because I'm going to more and more identify with that (sadlol) It makes me want to go and find a tree and just start chewin' the skin off it. It's such a a pleasure getting to watch you and David do this kind of show on RUclips, getting to see you be your selves with little or no restraint. Mia also nailed her Kamala , The slight vibrato Shakey voice, laugh, etc. keep on keepin' on gentleman. He does it several times, and we couldn't stop seeing it once we noticed it. Maybe Biden could do some crazy interpretation of what he thought he heard Trump say.
