@@jenniferloving9054 You are so right. About 2 years ago, a tuxedo kitty took up residence under my car in the driveway. We fed her, of course, and she stayed a couple of days. She left for a day. The next day the front door was open and she was looking thru the screen door. We invited her in, and she adopted us on the spot. She's a delight.

I think there is a system in some parks where you can live there p much for free as long as you also help work at the park. Most national park employees live on site, which tbh sounds amazing ksdhfkjds

Of course he knew. The humans at the shelter acted different, he saw them act that way with other dogs who never came back. He knew.
The lady said “I swear he understood me.” And that’s true, dogs understand human language! When I say to my dog “Walkie,” she gets excited and jumps around.
I would like to take this time to thank the internet or even more specifically social media for showing the TRUE side to the PIT BULL and saving this breed from human destruction!
The second she said “We’re just gonna foster him”, I’m watching this video like “No you’re not” LOL!!!
Not when the two dogs hit it off like long lost brothers. Bub was instantly like "Hi! you belong here! Let's get to know each other!"
You could see it in her eyes, from the very first car ride 😭 They chose each other.

Looks like Bub was definitely ready for a sibling. Can't even imagine Simon being put down, he has so much love and gentleness in him. So well behaved.
Foster Fails make me smile... I know fostering is important, but seeing someone just fall in love and not be able to let go of an animal is heartwarming.

@Smileyrie.yeppoon I am devastated. He went for his heartworm treatment. I had questions about his allergies before adopting. Yesterday they answered my questions. So I decided to adopt. Called the shelter, he was already adopted. I am heart broken

It was destined to be a foster failure from the moment Simon got in to the car with Katharine. It was so delightful to see him swoon all over her in the car and her merry laughter. That union was meant to be.

when it comes to animals, my motto has always been "there's always room for one more" they are so cute, lucky dogs !!!
I use to say there’s always room for one more but I can’t say that anymore, not with 16 cats in my house and no income this year. I just can’t say no but my husband has put both feet down. Please say some prayers for me to be able to continue caring for my furbabies.🥰🙏🏼
PS.....please also pray for my Teddy Bear. He is in terrible distress. He’s 14 years old. Around 5 weeks ago he started having issues which, we think is due to him falling off the top kitchen cabinets and hitting his forehead on the edge of the countertop on his way down. He was ok after some swelling, which I had to drain out the cut on his nose. That was earlier this year.
The vet thinks his current issues are related to the fall. He has given antibiotics for an ulcerated lip, cortisone shot and eye ointment for what he thought was an eye infection but after much research, it seems he has a lot of neuro damage. His eye has turned black and he is now blind in that eye. His tongue hangs out and he drools everywhere. His tongue isn’t working correctly so he’s barely getting food in.
His hind legs are atrophying and stiffening and one foot has swollen toes. I have been trying to reach the vet for nearly two weeks but his wife is not giving him my messages.
He is very compassionate and he loves that I don’t wear a mask when I bring my Teddy Bear in but the last time his wife was there and she threw me out and said I can’t come back without a mask for a “virus” that has still not been isolated and verified.
She is letting my furbaby suffer because of the scamdemic. I have sent her so much scientific studies, including the Denmark “covid” mask study that was just published a week ago, that proves, once again, masks do not prevent or stop the spread of any virus. Yet she’s allowing my baby to suffer horribly. Other vets are not taking in new patients. Our previous vet was mobile but has moved hours away. I’m stuck, the vet’s wife won’t even tell him what’s going on with my angel.😖
@@lovetoclearclouds7017 I will pray for you and Teddy Bear, maybe there is a local animal shelter that could help? Sometimes though, we just have to be strong and let our animals go so they don't suffer. I know it's hard, but you need to evaluate the quality of Teddy's life right now. God Bless and stay strong.

I was one of those people who loved dogs but was a little scared of pitties. Until Hubby brought home one that someone had dumped in a parking lot and it had been living there for 3 weeks according to the store owner. Oh my! They are the sweetest, most affectionate dogs. The way Simon had to be touching her is so pittie-like. Our Boo thinks she's a lap dog and tries to bathe us non-stop with pittie kisses. This is what pitties SHOULD be known for.

This lady has the sweetest voice and laugh, no wonder Simon and Bubby fell in love with her immediately. She's a happy person and a kind person and it's contagious.
Simon seems to have the same personality my dog did, just lovable and goofy. Even the way they lie, with the legs kicked back (that's a sign of happiness and content, I think.)
It's a wonderful life for Simon, and ur other pittie. Once the bond is built for two dogs to separate them they would both most likely have gone into a depression, so it's great that u chose to keep. Great job 👍

There was this one time in class we read articles and one of them was to get rid of pit bulls. I was so mad that I took as many as I can and when I was back home I threw them all out.
I got in trouble but it was worth it

Love it! My husband and I just fostered a red nose pit bull for about 6 weeks, and we fell totally in love with him. He found his furever home, and we miss him so much. Such a sweet and cuddly big bear of a dog.

Katherine and Cody must be 2 kind people. I'm glad their dogs get along so well. I think it's easier to have 2 or 3 at a time because they keep each other company. A national park! How nice is that. I love Katherine's laugh and the way he just kept kissing her when she rescued him. These dogs bring joy. You can just hear it and see it.

Bub and Simon formed a strong bond from word go. Just as well she and her boyfriend decided to keep him. The dogs would have been devastated in they parted. It's all worked out wonderful they are one big happy family. Thank-you for giving him the best life ever.

I'm a veterinarian. I love all dogs- and I will say, in my experience, pitts are much much less likely to fear or pain bite than a shepard or a lab.
