I would have loved to see a baseball glove leather interior instead, but, not my truck. Love the reverse lights in the bedrails, very cool use of that space
absolutely beauty. i was born in 1954. my 65th birthday is coming up. this would be a terrific gift! thanks for the effort and the sharing. BIG thumbs up.
🙋♀️ladies watching! 100 series land cruiser owner with 322k miles here! Love your LCs, but now I'm a huge fan of your truck builds too, wicked!! That auto window retro knob is the best feature!🤩 I haven't see that on any other restomods!! Love it! When I win the lottery...😃
Mine its a 54 too and we highly appreciate all the improvements that you are sharing. Many ideas to be implemented. Many blessings in all your proyects. Now you have a student in Puerto Rico, USA.
Back in 1987, I bought a 1955 F-100 from my oldest brother. (He was a master auto mechanic) for $500. He installed a 1967 283 cu.in engine, two speed auto trans. Straight headers.Tested On Super Seven, Vermont, back in the day. At 100 MPH she would track with her straight front axil so well I could let go of the steering wheel for more than a mile. What a fun tough truck. Drove it to work for three years.
Greetings Jonathan, It is a real pleasure being afforded the opportunity to witness the evolution of your company and Brands! Thanks for the burnout, Jerry
I will tell you this even though I wasn't there when the team built this awesome truck a lot of pride.and hard work went into customized this pickup truck I just pray to God the owner will take well care of it it will show the appreciation the owner has in Jo
That truck sir is a piece of art. You have a winning formula with the all new running gear with the old body attached. It makes perfect sense and the vehicle still looks close to original. They are definitely something to be proud of. It's something I would do IF I could.
Another very nice ride...I did and old truck many years ago and put in an auto type headliner. It had 3 bows I think and went all the way to the top of the seat...
I had one in the 80's. All original up to the vacuum windshield wipers and six volt battery. The faster you drove the brighter the headlight were. We called it the green machine. I miss it.
Another fabulous project Jonathon. I live in Cancun, Mexico and really enjoy your video's. As a long time hot rodder they give me a glimpse of the USA.
Ever thought of using rift sawn wood instead of board sawn lumber for the wooden beds? The straighter grain would look more premium, and it is more stable over time.
Original retro starter was on the floor, just right of the gas pedal and was never on the dash. I own a bone stock 54 that was actually assembled at the old GM plant in LA. California. That being said, I'd still love a Thrift master by you in a derelict version with all the modern upgrades. Nice work.
I had a 1948, as i recall, Thriftmaster. Had a script on hood that said Thriftmaster. They had a smaller carb than stock. That was it. I also had a 1954 Bel Aire with factory Dual Exhaust. Very rare.
I think this is probably very affordable compared to some brand new trucks that cost close to 100k. These are a little less money much nicer to look at too.
very nice!!... clean - - got a 54 sitt'n in my Bro in law's garage in El Paso I want to do the same thing to it!! Also look'n for a 54ish 1-1 1/2 ton dually I can restore/ build into a welding rig
I subscribed tonight after seeing the little bumpside four by four ford, a nineteen seventy model an that was my first new truck so was drawn like a fly to it. Alass, I had this truck as a kid and it wasn't real old then ... say ten years about then and still lots of life in her. I soon graduated to the nineteen fifty one one ton and it had all the bells and whistles of its time. I used it hauling firewood and dirt for my neighbors to earn the money for a house first I figured and I did buy a home and paid for it in cash money as I held two steady jobs then and earned just as much as the working men. At thirteen, painfully skinny, but willow tree strong from packing horses with my dad and another man on the cascade mountains in washington. That was nineteen sixty and I was skinny but pushing the six foot mark and from experimenting with the razor shaving. I wish that I only knew what I know now about hair!! LOL, I have worked my entire life as I was held back from school with issues not to be discussed here. Nineteen sixty seven saw me going to vietnam and that is another trip I wish I missed. I had a lot of the nice rigs of the time, how was I to know they would become collectors... we joked about it. The one ton I mentioned was from the bank and only had eleven thousand miles on it when I got it. What I would trade to have that very same truck back again
That truck is done right. Not slammed n bagged, not overdone. Perfect
They get cleaner and more refined each time. Really like the stitching update, bluetooth audio and hidden HVAC venting.
Every new vehicle that gets showcased here ultimately ends up being my favorite. Stunning Chevy.
This is perfect. I love everything about it - except the fact it isn't mine. Another beautiful ICON.
Me: "Beautiful Truck!"
OCD: "That 'A' knob is off-center. That 'A' knob is off-center. That 'A' knob is off-center..."
Color n chrome match made in heaven
Would you mind posting the before photos is the car as well? I would love to see the original condition that you get these in.
Once again ! You make it as good as ever !! Great workmanship!
Love These Trucks.. ( hope to see more with Manuel Transmission's )
Another awesome truck, love this model, and chrome offsets this color so well too, great job again ICON
So much nicer than any new truck. Much better layout and classy looks. Chevy should just sell improved versions of their trucks from the 50s-72.
I love hearing you nerd out in the intricacies of your builds! don't ever change 🔥🔥🤓🔥🔥
I would have loved to see a baseball glove leather interior instead, but, not my truck.
Love the reverse lights in the bedrails, very cool use of that space
Looks good sir, very sweet. Be safe. Peace.
absolutely beauty. i was born in 1954. my 65th birthday is coming up. this would be a terrific gift! thanks for the effort and the sharing. BIG thumbs up.

Nothing sweeter then an older truck tricked out and painted blue! That colour absolutely rocks. Great job!!
I'm a nearly ancient female Icon fan. I binge watch these videos. I LOVE what you do.
Love the colour, those wheels are the best. Wouldn’t be the same without the burnout 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Mine its a 54 too and we highly appreciate all the improvements that you are sharing.
Many ideas to be implemented.
Many blessings in all your proyects.
Now you have a student in Puerto Rico, USA.
Love the build. Awesosme work Jonathan and crew.
Not only do you build beautiful vehicles, you make great videos as well.
Thank goodness! I've been dying for you to do a '54. The coolest of the Advanced Design trucks hands down. Perfect job as always Jonathan.
I concur on the chrome/stainless and brightwork ... it's FANTASTIC!
Love, love, love this build... everything from the colors to the subtle recreations, yet another masterpiece!

I'll take two, a blue one and a red one..........okay honey I'll get up in a minute, I was just having this awesome dream......
One day when I grow up I will own a ICON...
I’m 33...
It's never too late you can do it
That is so much nicer than ANY new pickup.
Ahhhh so nice again lads ! Just love seeing and hearing about all the Icon creations. Cheers!
Absolutely incredible. The color is spot on!
The color reminds me of my Mom's 1972 Volkswagen Squareback, tastefully done in Neptune Blue.
Nicely Done! Respect to the 3 Window!!!
Flawless builds. Dream I dreamed as a young lad, to build icon's such as yourself. Wow times hundreds.
Greetings Jonathan, It is a real pleasure being afforded the opportunity to witness the evolution of your company and Brands! Thanks for the burnout, Jerry

If I ever win the lottery, first call will be to ICON.
Thanks Johnathan for showing us your amazing work of art.
Love that sound! SOLID!
Jonathan, another classic sir well done.
Amazing truck! ICON truck is so sweet. If had the bucks, would not even consider any of the big three. For a driver not a hauler.
The design, and implementation of it, is simply stunning!
This is a hidden gem. The vibe is grown and awesome. Great job man. The audio is great too!
'54... my favorite fifties Chevrolet pickup.
Another unmatched work from Icon, kudos Mr. Ward, what a joy even to watch this timeless piece of art perfectly done and driving flawless.
Every ICON vehicle is a masterpiece! One day...
Love the ac in the old speaker grille. Very clever. And the right height comfort.
Nice job as usual, great color ! Thanks for the ride.

absolutely beautiful truck! Great build.
Another STUNNING build. These old trucks have style by the bucket load, unlike todays pickups, less is more!
Love it! Dont like these old cars with new alloy wheels. The painted wheels always look great.
Love your work. I really hope you're still working your magic when/if I have the cash to get something built!
Another fine build Jonathan. Great burnout too. Can we get another tour of the shop? It's been awhile. I'm sure there are some updates.
What happened to video of the caprice?... I know alot of people would like to see that and a large intrest in some of the parts.....
You are a real inspiration! I'm building a 1954 with my dad and I hope to add some delicious touches. Great work!
Fine job Mr. Ward.
.....I'm In-Love !!! Love @ 1st Sight....nobody does the work of ART better than U-Guyz !!!
What a wonderful redo! You make me drool!!!!1
The unnecessary burnout made the day :) Love these trucks! But getting them in Europe is so expensive..
Create a playlist to let his videos play in background so his smooth voice can give ya carvana dreams about awesome icons and derelicts 😂
Impressive, most impressive 👍
I love how you preserve the style of the interior.
Wow it’s so quiet in there, awesome!
The ''Nice and clean'' ICON Pick up. Amazing Job!
Beautiful build Jonathan! Love these videos
What a beautiful sleeper...
Another very nice ride...I did and old truck many years ago and put in an auto type headliner. It had 3 bows I think and went all the way to the top of the seat...
Oh that burn out and exhaust brings a grin :)
If i had the money i would want a chevy el camino 1959 . Sleeper but a highway crusing work car . A perfect daily driver .
I don't know which I like better: the Thriftmasters, or the Derelicts! Oh, hell... they're both just too cool! If I ever hit the lottery…
SPECTACULAR as always
These videos are such a pleasure to watch. When I win the lottery, I'll be coming to see you
Probably the best custom cars in the World!
Well sir another winner right there. Awesome truck
If only I could afford it. My 54 is bone stock but I'd love to do this to mine. Nice job Mr. Ward, beautiful rig.
Not bad. When I save up a quarter million dollars or so, I'll buy it. Meantime I'll have to be satisfied working on my 55 GMC.
Ever thought of using rift sawn wood instead of board sawn lumber for the wooden beds? The straighter grain would look more premium, and it is more stable over time.
Jonathan, I love your work!
I think there should be a TV show about you guys
You build such great vehicles I know they are a little pricey, but the build quality is incredible
Thank you sir...a pleasure I don’t seem to tire of.....especially the burnouts! (Pun intended)
Another beautiful Icon.👍👍
You’re the Man!Most amazing work .Probably the best in the world!Class Act.Salute
I had this truck while I was in the ARMY, I sold it and regret, regret. It was powder blue, my grandfather called it pigeon blue.
Beautiful! Excellent work as usual!
I would prefer a manual 6 speed transmission over the automatic.
That’s the best one so far. Love it 👍🏻
The very definition of cool. You, I mean. And the truck, but that's a given. So many nice details but the window handle/switch is very nicely done.
I like stock or “second day mods” but this is well done and shows respect for the truck.
Original retro starter was on the floor, just right of the gas pedal and was never on the dash. I own a bone stock 54 that was actually assembled at the old GM plant in LA. California. That being said, I'd still love a Thrift master by you in a derelict version with all the modern upgrades. Nice work.
I have a original 1954 Chevrolet 3100 unmolested with the original push button starter on the dash to the left of the steering wheel.
Always a joy to watch and Nice Burn Out!
amazing build!
I had a 1948, as i recall, Thriftmaster. Had a script on hood that said Thriftmaster. They had a smaller carb than stock. That was it. I also had a 1954 Bel Aire with factory Dual Exhaust. Very rare.
Millionaires only need apply, however, if I ever win the Lotto I would definitely have Mr. Ward build a derelict Thriftmaster. Beautiful lines.
I think this is probably very affordable compared to some brand new trucks that cost close to 100k. These are a little less money much nicer to look at too.
@@ohdamnitsthatguy60 this truck is close to 200 thousand dollars.
@@thomasryan8218 Probably 300K ?!
Excellent ride.
very nice!!... clean - - got a 54 sitt'n in my Bro in law's garage in El Paso I want to do the same thing to it!! Also look'n for a 54ish 1-1 1/2 ton dually I can restore/ build into a welding rig
