As someone who dabbled with maps for a few months, years ago, I am always left speechless by these maps knowing how limited the editor actually is. You can't just slap together blocks in thin air too close to each other, not all block types are allowed to coexist etc, but these maps always make it look like it's so easy to build. It's just awe inspiring, nothing short of a craft and art.
How much time does it take you to make these maps? I know for a fact there's hella trial and error to see what trajectories work and what don't and what speed works and what doesn't. Either way these are immaculate pieces of artwork, if this is your day job never quit it my guy cuz you got the formula so stay with it. ❤️🔥✊
Literally my only other experience with this game is a random video that was suggested that talked about the speed running world record on the hardest track in this game. That being said... That was smooth af. Very satisfying, very nice.
What I love about trackmania is that a map like this will 100% of the time result in the exact same outcome and will never have even the slightest difference. Incredible.
usually us pf mappers build to have fun and challenge ourselves, once you get to a certain point you can’t really train yourself, unless you’re me who can’t build a pf inside the stadium and would want to work to that
I just love to build press forward maps since 10 years already and in tm2020 it's super nice to build those maps. And seems like a lot of people like it aswell 😄
The smoothest one would be when you put Fragile after the start and the car goes into the finish in one piece

You can, in fact. I think you needed a plugin to do that in TMNF, but TM2020 has it built in.
that was years ago. the editor is much more powerful now. map is still impressive tho
