🙋‍♀️Hello, In case someone doesn’t have cornflour(corn starch) to stabilized your whipped cream you may also use gelatin dissolved in a little water. I also discovered that by adding some of my chocolate ganache (white or dark chocolate) to my whipped cream it not only stabilizes it but it also replaces the sugar I would normally add to my whipped cream. I hope my info adds to an already WONDERFUL VIDEO! 😁👍 Take care and happy baking, Dee😊

@@febeanncastro4303 I try it and I dont like it with cornstarch (corn flour). Feels weird. Use gelatin or another stabilizer. The recipe without the starch is tasty and amazing. Another thing that I did is overbeat a little bit but maybe you wont that. For me was ok and the extra beat gives to the whipped cream stability. But like I said, I like it but maybe for you will not work.

Powdered sugar already has cornstarch in it. The extra corn starch will give the whipped cream a sticky thick texture.
The separate cornstarch will help stabilize the cream if sweetening with granulated sugar.

@@ruhi15285 if using icing sugar you won't need to use cornflour - or if you do only add a tiny bit as needed as most icing sugar already has cornflour in it.
You can also use granulated white sugar/caster sugar, though it tends not to dissolve as well and you will definitely need to add either cornflour or gelatin to stabilise 🙂

In case anyone wants a KETO version of this just sub the sugar with allulose or stevia (but stevia has a horrible aftertaste, IMO), and sub the cornstarch w/gelatin; or if you don't eat meat products sub the gelatin with agar-agar powder (it's a vegetarian gelling agent derived from from red algae, instead of animals.). Some cultures use agar-agar "threads," instead which i guess is the form it is in before it is ground into a powder, which is the most common form in the U.S.

I just use more powdered sugar which contains corn starch, which prevents the sugar from lumping together and getting hard like sugar can and will , I skip the cornstarch as an extra step because its already covered And I want to say VANILLA its essential to. Make it all come together taste wise but I also use this with cranberries that i run through the food processor and add sugar to and chopped pecans let that sit and stir twice in 24 hrs covered in fridge Then make the whipped cream with one cup of p sugar and fold into the cranberries and chill again until serving my Mom called it Pink Fluff and its so good with turkey at Thanksgiving also like cranberry icecream i use 1/4 C sugar for a bag of cranberries or 1/2 C for a big bag and chop the pecans up with a knife they can be fresh or toasted lightly in butter w a pinch of salt. Homeade Cranberry relish is soo good and soo easy And i apologize cause I am soo hungry im going to take some cranberries out of the freezer and make it I’m just mad I didn’t buy more cranberries this year. Usually I can get a whole bunch. But I missed it this year i got some but not like I normally do. I dont get hangry i just cant focus lol So its actually time for lunch and I will have peanut butter and cherry jelly see lol food time

@@mchavez76 no problem I am actually asking myself if using corn starch won't make the whipped cream taste grainy. I always use mascapone and white chocolate mix those together and put them peu a peu into the whipped cream, that stabilizes the whipped cream and makes it taste good.

So this recipe is for whipped cream “frosting” but if you just want normal whipped cream it’s very easy to make! All you need is 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 2 - 3 tbsp of sugar then whip until it forms stiff peaks and your done! :)

I don't think you have to, but I'd recommend it because it'll keep the cream and bowl cold so that it's easier to whip. Also this cream will melt in the heat, so put it in a cooler if you're taking it outside into the heat.

This is extra! Wonder what I’m doing. - I get lucky with mine. I sift the crap out of my powdered sugar, use cold bowl and blades and make sure to inject as much air as possible with mixing and moving blades up and down. No extra chilling required. Work fast.
