    i love this recipe! i’ve always found other frostings like buttercream too rich heavy and sweet. but this is so light and doesn’t make your feel overly sweet or full!

    I remember whipping the cream to the second phase and stopping since I was irritated. Now I have a lot more patience so I will try again. Thanks for sharing this method 😌

    Tysm for this recipie! whenever i used to try buttercream frosting it always wouldn't turn out stiff and the taste would be too heavy! I just made my brownies batter right now and im gonna make this frosting too!
    Edit: It turned out amazing! The frosting was soo light and smooth and the texture and taste was sooo yummy which melts in your mouth! Definatly recommend this recipie instead of the buttercream one!

    Is it the 35% whipping cream. I tried to ice the cake many times. It was a failure every time

      Sooryante Lokam i have made cake many times with this recipe and I prefer to use 35%whipping cream but I recomend to beat on high for 9 minutes and then turn it on low and whip for another 8 minutes, If the are stiff then it should be pretty good

    I put a little gelatin in so it keeps its forms a little more. I add hot water maybe a teaspoon or two the a half a teaspoon of gelatin mix then add slowly to mix before it gets stiff

      That also works . But the way I make without gelatin is so perfect......you can follow this video to get stiff cream without gelatin 🙂

    That first method recipe is very similar to 'Chantilly Cream'. Some people use super fine sugar instead of icing sugar, however I think it is better with icing sugar. Keep sharing. Thanks

    Hi guys, just a suggestion, please refrain from using liquid in measure cups like this one 0:39 those can be only used for dry ingredients. Purchase a liquid measuring cup/jar which usually has ounces, mls & cups written down in measurement scale.

      Icing sugar is essentially powdered sugar you can make it by adding normal sugar in a blender at high speed for a minute or so

      I think the red one is just food coloring added when putting icing suger and vanilla in. But food coloring i totally optional if you want a colorful cake then ok 👍

      Use unflavored gelatin add it to hot water then room temperature water when is almost done the whipping add the gelatin quick and mix it

      @Carol Rudy, plz try Ice Bowl Method I have showed in the video. Another thing, preserve the whipped cream in refrigerator. It may melt if room temperature gets too high. Hope, you will be able to make it perfectly next time.

      They are the exact same product it just depends on where you are from. If you are from the US the words powdered sugar is mainly used while Canada and other countries say icing sugar. Believe me it's the same identical thing.

    After whipping the cream til u get stiff peaks.. do u put it in the fridge first? Cos ur frosting looks really firm .

      I have used Vivo Whipping Cream Which is available in my place. You can buy whipping cream from any super shop or grocery store.

      @@deecalhoun437 i make whipping cream with amul fresh cream with d second method. Ice in first bowl then put second bowl of cream on it n start whipping. It will work.

    The one you’re using is Topping Cream, already sweetened/stabilised

    Which cream should we buy whipping or fresh cream or thick cream. When I used whipping cream even after 10 mins of beating I did not get the stuff peaks

      U shld use whipping cream mam. Frst beat on slow speed den gradually increase the speed it will form stiff peaks sometimes it might take time also.

      @@leelaashok3296 Yes mam. After buying keep it in freezer. If u want to use it den transfer it from freezer to fridge. Like if u want to bake tomorrow keep the whipping cream in fridge a night before so that it shld be in liquid form and not frozen, and yes cream should be chilled. Den u r good to go with it.
