What you want to pay attention to in clips like this in order to determine what these cars are like, is HOW CLOSE they are able to follow each other through the turns before the car behind gets out of shape and has to back off.
It looks like this version of the car is slightly less aero dependent than what we've been seeing, but there were a couple times where #18 had to catch the car without being all that close to the bumper of the #2.
Right direction, but need to keep pushing 👍

From what I’ve seen and read adding the 670 spacer and smaller spoiler didn’t seem to open up passing, certainly not compared to the test earlier where the drafting sessions had some very competitive slicing (highlighted by the Chase Elliott-Erik Jones double slingshot). I’m puzzled they apparently didn’t test the 670 and big sharkfin with the 8 inch spoiler.
Certainly we’re seeing noticeable improvement in passing and that’s a definite positive

Sadly NASCAR will never go above 800 again. For the better or worse but as a sport, and the dynamics of vehicles in general, if they want a racecar to feel more like what a street car does today the changes they made had to be done, but our racing is unlike anything else in our world. Ovals were made to look like homestead but we got tracks like Charlotte and the cookie cutters, racing at these tracks versus homestead they need some kind of side force so the car can actually turn. This car is going in the right direction but can only add so much power before other problems are put out and give this car more issues
