idk i have always had a soft spot for crecida i mean she is only aweful because her mother thought her to be like that. but i think she is a little misunderstod and lonely deep down.
she didn´t tell people that she saw Daph with the duke in the garden. even if she tried to put up a facade i feel like she rather be intimidating than show how vulnable she is. she deserves her own love season.
and eloise is a smart woman she might have seen the softer side to her.
also i find it strange that she is not yet married because she is pretty and wealthy and have had other suiters before maybe she and her mother is to picky about who she is going to marry.
I love that we see Cressida trying to go against what she's taught by still being friends with Eloise despite her parents saying to cut that friendship out. It gives me hope that she'll break the cycle one day she's away from her parents, as long as her parents don't arrange a marriage...

I'm a bit upset that everyone has a glow up and not just Penelope, why in her season, again throwing her into the background and not the main focus again
Because it's the trick if they make her prettier in her season then everybody will see her as main character it's like Anthony in 1st season he looked mid then in his season he looked like a total dilf 😂😂

Ugh and this is exactly why I dread my favorite books coming to the screen. The love triangle how overused is that. I should have learned there will never be a good adaption after the horrid job they did with Julie Garwoods "For the Roses."
Eloise and Cressida make no sense as friends or more. And what is up with Eloise's wardrobe? It's all just....curious.
To setup her glowup to be impactful when her season comes. It's Shondalands formula
I've seen a theory that Eloise is starting to dress more like Cressida, and she wears her clothes like armor.
My theory on why she befriended Cressida, originally it kept Pen at bay and since Cressida is outwardly known to be cruel, is less likely to be written about in LW's papers since it's hardly newsworthy. It seems like a trauma response to her sole best friend lying to her. Cressida for all her faults has been honest about her intentions throughout these seasons and Eloise was always talking about how great it was that she could trust and confide in Pen just to find out she never really knew her "friend" the way she thought she did. As for why she stayed Cressida's friend, well both of them are alone when it comes to friends now that Pen isn't in the picture and we have seen Cressida keep Eloise's secret even if Eloise accidentally let it slip that Colin was helping Pen in the marriage mart.
The books are truely awful. The series is 100% better. Both are unrealistic.
Without Shonda Rhimes reading the books we would not have the fabulous Bridgerton...and yes they are both works of fiction. ❤
I disagree , the books are much more historically correct. The series is, albeit entertaining, is quite ridiculous.
Book Colin was a possessive, sometimes violent jerk to Penelope. He was insecure and needed her constant reassurance to be anything but a failure, while treating HER success like it was a shame. I hope Debling turns out to be the man who can truly see Penelope's worth! I hope Colin eats his heart out over what he lost.

@@retroreceptionist7571 He grabbed her arm hard enough to cause bruises. When she winced in pain he saw it, but didn't care because he was so indignant. She later made excuses for his behavior, or even romanticized it. She was being written as the perfect abused spouse, always ready to blame herself for provoking him rather than him for not having better control of himself.

I bet Penelope initially marries Lord Debling, but he dies in Antarctica, and then she marries Colin....
That would be unfortunate for Lord Debling, but serve Colin his just desserts

Cressida’s hair and outfits are hilariously awful 🤣🤣 Her glow up will be fun.
He was boring, but I think they wanted him to be. It’s too bad. He could have charismatic with the same story line.
