Hi I have a 14 month old with diarrhea for 3 weeks now. He has been to the pediatrician 3 times now, they did a culture test a week ago and the results came back that it was no bacteria. They say it’s most likely viral and to just let it pass since he is not getting dehydrated or loosing weight. My child loves to eat even when sick so I feel like he will eat even if he doesn’t feel his best. I cut out dairy and been giving him just the plain diet of rice soups and Pedialyte. He’s having about 5 loose mucousy stools per day and I just don’t know what to do anymore. Should I look for a different doctor? An sis it okay to give my baby all 3 of the remedies in this video
Hi there 😘, if you know that it is not a bacterial infection, then you don't need to feed him the soup - it won't work. The other two remedies could work. However, we would start with the blueberry tea first and then take it from there. What does worry me a bit is that he has had it for 3 weeks now. This seems like a long time for a viral infection. Has your pediatrician also looked into other possible explanations (such as allergies, certain illnesses etc.)? And did your son suffer from diarrhea before?
Hi, my baby is 3 months old and she has diarrhea since 1 week. I tried your blueberry tea but she didn’t drink it she drink only 10ml/feed. Is that amount will help? Second, is that tea can be mixed with formula ? Or is that ok to give this tea just before the milk??
Hi there 😘, when your baby has been suffering from diarrhea for such a long time, the first thing you should do is talk with a pediatrician about it! The other thing is: please keep in mind: the tea can only help if your baby really suffers from diarrhea, which is sometimes hard to tell when it comes to such young babies... But in general: yes, 10ml will do the job. And yes, it can be mixed with formula... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, yes, please do! In fact, it is very important to continue feeding him milk! Thank you! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
By the way: please do remember that you should not be giving your baby too much of the tea as long as your baby is only a couple of months old because of the risk of water intoxication in babies. Here is an article on this topic: www.stlouischildrens.org/health-resources/pulse/water-intoxication-infants Therefore, please stick to the recommend 3x25ml per day only... Thank you! ;-)

Hello there, my 3 months old son has diarrhea for a week now.. can he have hydralyte to keep him hydrated? Or should I give him the dried blueberry tea please?
Hi there 😊, if it has been ongoing for a week now, we kindly ask you to have a checkup by a doctor first! It's always good to know, where this is coming from (bacteria, a medical problem, a virus etc.). If your doctor then believes that he needs hydralyte, then - of course - you can feed him hydralyte between breast or bottle-feeds (this is normally done with a syringe). However, many doctors also recommend temporarily increasing the frequency of the breast- or bottle feeds to keep babies hydrated in such situations (it really depends on the case and cause). No matter your decision, you can still give him the blueberry tea. But please only in small amounts (see table). Babies that age should not be given too much additional water or tea - next to being breast or bottle-fed. We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Nathalie Iam currently at 39th week yet I didn’t get labour pain . Is it normal?? Apart from abdominal pain Iam getting everywhere even at my private area. What shall I do further to induce my labor?? Pls help
Hi there 😉 First of all, please understand that I cannot diagnose your case because neither am I allowed to do that, nor am I able to do so because I don’t know your pregnancy case. What I can tell you though is that - in general - it is totally normal if a woman does not go into labor in week 39. Most women will go into labor in week 40 and some women even later. Moreover, many women are in labor already, although they don’t know it. It is called “early stage of labor” and during that phase, a woman may already be dilating, although she does not feel any contractions (or she only feels mild to moderate contractions). Also, many women complain about “abdominal pain” in the last weeks of their pregnancy. They often describe it as a “sharp or shooting pain” which they feel because the baby is so deep in their pelvis that their baby puts pressure on ligaments and nerves. A woman may feel that sort of pain in her pelvis, her rectum or in her vagina. With that said, it is always a good idea to have a check-up at the hospital in case of abdominal pain - just to be on the safe side. Finally, the best thing that you can do to induce labor is relax because relaxation can help release Oxytocin which helps with contractions. If your healthcare provider allows it, you can also have acupressure or reflexology to induce labor. We explain how it works in this video: ruclips.net/video/8rehbupwhzY/видео.html. I hope this helps! 😀 We wish you all the best for you and your baby!! 💕
