OMG this really helps. Its been 4 days ago when my daughter last defecated. I'm a bit worried ,this is the reason why I went to your channel. Thanks for the useful hints. We have to give baby formula additionally to our little one because mommy don't have enouhg breast milk. Since he has poop every 2-4 days only and helping him to have easier way to poop is wellcome.

By the way: just that you know: although most babies poop several times per day at that age, not every baby does. Some babies go days without pooping and are still not constipated, particularly if they are breastfed or if they receive a combination of breastmilk and formula milk... So, if you are worried about your baby, you could just have a checkup at the doctor to exclude other important reasons why your baby is only pooping every 2-4 days. And if the doctor says there are no important reasons, then at least you have peace of mind 😊

OMG my baby (7 weeks) has been having trouble pooping and I decided to give this a shot. Yes, unfortunately, when it comes to babies who are being fed solids, it can sometimes take a bit longer for the effect to kick in because the digestive waste from solids is very different from digestive waste from milk. Moreover, at that age, the baby's digestive system is only getting used to solids... Therefore, it is important to repeat the massage frequently and to extend the duration of the circular movements on the belly...

please note that this treatment should always work if your baby is indeed constipated. So if it does not work, then it can be because of the following reasons:
1. Your baby is NOT constipated. Please note that such young babies can often go days or even a week or longer without pooping although they are not constipated. This can particularly often happen in exclusively breastfed babies. In other words: just because a newborn does not poop for days, is not necessarily a reason that baby is constipated.
2. There are medical reasons why your baby is not pooping: in very rare cases, there can be more severe underlying conditions why a baby is not pooping.
Therefore, the first step should be to see a pediatrician! Let them confirm that your baby is indeed constipated (they can do that by palpating your baby's belly) and that there are no medical reasons why your baby is not pooping.
If your baby is indeed constipated, repeat the treatment 3-4 times per day. It WILL work...
