Face ID is more practical than fingerprint, but it still has problems with twins."
is it just me or did this guy not explain why apple brought touch id back?
Hahaha.. you're not alone. I was kinda pissed though. Subtle clickbait.
I actually did explain. I guess it just wasn't the explanation you were expecting.
I had a $70 phone with fingerprint reader, and I think theres one for $150 that has both fingerprint and face id
Also IN THE MacBook Air AS WELL AS THE PRO M1 AND M2 has Touch id so ya they actually kinda made it work in a weird way
Apple needs to understand that There's also something called in display fingerprint
They can put Touch ID on apple logo or under screen.
I had an android phone, and the under screen fingerprint sensor would work maybe 50% of the time.
@@heavy0119 what phone did you had?
@@mylifeisajoke7090 it was a Samsung Galaxy a71
@@heavy0119 probably on flagship Samsung model it works better so if apple were to make a iPhone with Touch ID under the screen it would probably work as well as normal Touch ID sensor.
If i created the iPh15 series, i would get an on-screen touch id+ face id
I’ve been using home button iPhones since my very first iphone and only just recently got my first ever face ID iphone. Honestly, I was 100% expecting to prefer touch ID but man, Face ID just works, all the time. It’s noticeably faster when I want to unlock my passwords or my locked notes than touch ID.
Why not implement it in the camera area like the iPhone? The iPad has a suitable bezel which could comfortably fit the components needed for FaceID
It is possible as the latest iphone 14 for the us has no physical rim and there's a space empty that is unused. It can fulfill the requirwmenta
A normal In Display sensor please Apple
I still miss home button. I actually liked it.
Still in the past huh
At least you get a decent size display.
Most android pro models have wayy larger displays than iphone.
@@cammayburrell8117 it was just feeling good, when you were pressing that button.
I don’t care Face ID is so much smoother than Touch ID. It’s much smoother and more consistent
Sooo there is a iPad with both Touch ID and Face ID so yayayyayay
I just don’t understand why you would want Touch ID. When I switched from the Touch ID on my iPhone 8 Plus to the Face ID on my iPhone 11 the difference was night and day. Almost completely reliable and instant. Touch ID was always finicky in my opinion.
They could’ve made it on power button of iPhone 12,13 or 14 since these have flat sides and bigger button area or they could’ve just placed it under the screen
bro stealing apple explained thumbnails
Don’t MacBooks hdbe Touch ID
and I just bought an iPhone 14
THIS IS GREG FROM APPLE EXPLAINED 🤣🤣
😂
so littearly mid range samsung and xiaomi phones can have fingerprint sensor inside a screen and on the power button but newest most expensive iphones cant?
Of course they can but it's just Apple being Apple.
@@MarkoVuckovic32 true, apple is being apple and apple sheeps are still running to the nearest apple store every year to buy new iphone pro max model even tho they dont even know whats in that phone, and they dont even feel difference between generations bcs there is barely any difference and yet the same people are saying that samsung lags just bcs they've tried their friends galaxy A14 and it laged ofc its going to lag its a fucking low end phone Galaxy S7 is going to beat it.
@@MarkoVuckovic32 and samsung doesnt know to make an ad about their features thats why 90% of Samsung users dont even know about quick share, samsung dex and many more features
The newest Samsung is just as good as the newest iPhone, and it has under display fingerprint scanners, but “can’t make it work”
Touch ID is also available on Macbook.
MacBook users can still enjoy it too!
I had a iPhone 7 so I had some experience with fingerprint iD.
Same! I also have the iPhone 7. It's an amazing device even today.
What if Apple brings back the Touch ID placed on the notch?
Why can't apple make the fingerprint sensor built into the screen like any other phone
My first & only iPhone 5s 👌✨ so cool 😎
missing the iphone se
With some of the iPhone thumbnails that have the touchid concept, it looks like the samsung fingerprint recognition animation. They'd just be copying samsung if that were the case
It is condemnable that Apple treats their customers this way, by denying them the fingerprint scanner
Oh how EVIL of them how will we ever recover???
Why? Face ID is superior
I think they should put the touch id on the apple logo behind the back
