@@C1NukeTrue, there's no competition in the market anymore and as such there's no need for companies to improve their products; this is true of Samsung, as well. The smartphone industry has stagnated... Meanwhile in China where there's tons of competition they're seeing all sorts of revolutionary technologies, especially in the battery department. But, I gotta say, iOS has become more like Android, and Android has become more like iOS. I'm still a hardcore Android user, but I don't enjoy the changes Google has made in the past few years, and iOS is no longer as restricted as it once was.
Yeah, Apple products that came out and changed the world during the Cook era: Apple Watch EarPods M series Macs and iPads Apple Vision Pro... Show me another tech company that could come out with 4 products that changed technology like these 4 Apple products above.
Apple Watch, Airpods Pro and M series Macbooks are amazing products and were in their own way revolutionary. I remember Bluetooth earbuds before airpods were pretty bad and were treated as an afterthought. Airpods did popularize that format and forced other companies to improve. Same with smart watches. Apple didn't invent it but their implementation is the one that became mainstream because it provided a better UX. Even during Jobs era, smartphones and touchscreen phones weren't new. Palm was making amazing phones. But iPhone's contribution was an amazing UX followed with a centralized App store that allowed 3rd party devs a simple way to make and monetize their creation . This is not to mention all the good software improvements in iOS. Something like Find My is an amazing example of hardware software integration. Touch ID and Face ID are amazing, seamless and secure. Apple was the one that made biometric authentication on phones mainstream. Motorola had made a phone with a fingerprint sensor but that went nowhere because it was an afterthought and there was no software integration for it in 3rd party apps. Apple did that.
The only reason stopping people from switching to android is lack of familiarity. When u cross that barrier, u won't be coming back to apple, that's how good android is !!

Think about it, the 11 series were very well-received and were the most accessible new iPhones at the time, the 12 series were so good that it managed to reinvigorate sales in the iPhone, while the 13 series were very competitive and made great Android alternatives. It could be very hard to increase sales when you have 3 back-to-back successes and 450+ million have no reason to upgrade
It also has the fraction of the security you get with IOS. That is a fact. You may not care, or choose to ignore that but it is not even close. Similar to OSX and Windows. OSX doesn't even need an anti virus software.
I think Apple overestimates the power of its "ecosystem". I just replaced Windows on my laptop with Linux, and then replaced MacOS on my wife's MacBook Air (2017). MacOS was okay, but very sluggish. My wife never used any of the extra features such as Airdrop, iCloud etc. She finds Linux Mint much easier to use, and the laptop now feels very fast- like a new computer- 10 x snappier. It also means her MacBook, which hasn't had a new OS update since 2021, and soon will no longer receive security updates, is now supported (By Linux Mint) until 2029.

I mean I could say something equally as stupid about android phones.... Androids that are nearly $1000 still dont have the same display uniformity as iPhone, or the same security measures or the same App Store quality or the same graphical performance as a base model iPhone or the same HDR bit depth as an iPhone or dolby Vision video recording or 3D facial recognition or sat comm. My point is.... android people are in a cult. As a cult they have to group up and make fun of something about iPhone. There always needs to be a "saying" that that will catch on in social media comment sections.... And post 2020s, that saying has become "no 60hz screen on iPhone is pathetic". But 60hz is a professional standard still.. my $1300 4k display is 60hz which is double the frame rate I need since Im a filmmaker.... and plus iPhone's display is still more calibrated and more uniformed than 99% of android phone displays.... But no android fan will speak about this. Yes iPhone's display is even more uniformed and brighter than Samsung Galaxy Ultra smartphones. And 3D games run at a solid 60 fps on iPhone whereas on Android phones they run at 40 because app development sucks on Android. Android cult is real. The 60hz screen is just one of many specs that make up an iPhone's Retina Display - a display that is advanced in terms of uniformity, peak brightness, sub-pixel fill space, off angle accuracy, True Tone accuracy, and image retention prevention. These are the reasons why iPhones are expensive. Android people wouldn't know about these things because android people don't know how to research technical specifications properly. They only know how to repeat what they hear on IG/Tiktok comments to get attention.
@@harrisonhurley4761 TLDR Best Buy app on Samsung Galaxy Ultra runs at like 15 frames per second. But on the base iPhone with only 60hz, it runs at a solid 60. there’s almost no point in Samsung phones having a 120 Hz when iPhone can give a smoother experience even with just the 60 hz display
Well I hope it TOTALLY fails. Its an extremely greedy company. To me though I think the reason why smartphone innovation has stagnated is because the big players (Apple, Samsung, Google..) are allowed to rig the system against the smaller players. This means less competition. The one company that was on the way to probably dethrone Apple and Samsung was Huawei and we know what happened. So yes if we want good things then we MUST break up these monopolies.
People often say iPhones can't compete with Androids because they don't change, but Androids rarely change their design either. As for Apple's 30% App Store fee, it's just a smart business move that gives them an edge. If Android is really better, then why complain? Just buy an Android phone.
Samsung barely changes but look at these other phone brands like Google and OnePlus I own a foldable One plus phone and its light-years ahead of both my 15 pro max and my friends s23 ultra but I'm not complaining I love the simplicity of the iPhone but it's definitely not worth the same prince in terms of hardware but definitely in aesthetic it's an American phone and I support it to an extent but there's no easy way to say this but it's definitely a worse all around product in terms of features and hardware but a better product in terms of support
@Leah-ju8ht Android is soon going to get closed source. Open source is no where near safe anymore and Google have talked about it for years. They're even trying to create a more safer and more complex security designs starting from the Android 11. We're seeing it from the stock folders being untouchable and integrated into the device with the ability to uninstall such updates to later not being able to in Android 12, and so on. We're heading towards complex safety and privacy problems with open stuff. If you're a tech manic you would've known why Android 15 is much delayed for the better. Not only it improves a lot of security flaws, these fixes can also improve overall device performance by turning off several unwanted "privacy unlocker" features.

I was thinking the opposite about the iPhone actually. Many people I know have switched to iPhone, or are planning to switch to iPhone. But I did notice that they are buying old iPhones, instead of the newest ones. Kinda like buying used cars.
They need to start thinking about releasing a phone every 3-5 years and continue major system updates every year. rather than force an incomplete product every year. Think about PlayStation. They release a system every 5+ years. Why that long? Because it’s good for 5 years! And continue to make tremendous sales every year until then. iPhone needs to release a product that would be good for 3 years before releasing another upgrade

The smartphone market has largely plateaued. In the early days, the differences between generations were substantial, but now improvements in areas like camera quality and CPU performance are more incremental. Despite talk of planned obsolescence, I know people who have been using the same iPhone for years. Sure, the battery life may decline and the phone might slow down a bit, but it still functions. When these users finally upgrade from an iPhone 8 or another older model to the latest iPhone 15, the difference is significant-unlike the minor upgrade from the 14 to the 15. Predictions of the smartphone’s decline due to emerging technologies like AR and VR have been around for a while, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

The idea that iPhones are failing doesn't align with the data. Apple continues to dominate in profits within the smartphone market, even if its global market share isn't the largest. However, consumer expectations have shifted. People now demand innovation and significant changes with each new model, and some feel Apple isn't delivering on that front. So if you ask me... iPhones are not failing. They're incredibly reliable and continue to set industry standards in many ways. Android software is terrible, On samsung even the registar back tap functions lags, Registar is an application made by the team of samsung in goodlock application for more customisation. Okay android has many features, but who's gonna use all those features ?? Okay even if you do use all the features, The software isn't well optimized for those features. Android has really hardware but it has shitty software, Whats the point of having snapdragon Gen 2 or 3 or 4 when the software isn't optimized well for it and even the app developers make their apps for apple first, So they get the newer apps first, Apple has better app optimization. Apple Watch

So yes if we want good things then we MUST break up these monopolies.

iPhone no doubt is a great product but the competitors catches up
They need to start thinking about releasing a phone every 3-5 years and continue major system updates every year. rather than force an incomplete product every year. Think about PlayStation. They release a system every 5+ years. Why that long? Because it’s good for 5 years!

Huawei had high focus on fast phones, and is why they never get slow.

@@OtteyTheOtter Android either
@@christianplay4041 true, but it still got more features
@@OtteyTheOtterbut does android has software optimisation for those features ???? Hell no, On samsung even the registar backtap actions lags, Registar is an application made by samsung in goodlock applications for more customisation. Apple doesn't have the same features as android but it has really good software, Apple has better software optimization and better app optimization. Even the app developers make their apps first for App store, So Apple users get the apps first with better optimisation than android. It's true that android got sooooo many features but who's gonna use all them ?? Okay even if you use all of those features the software isn't even well optimized for those features, MY experience with my s24 was terrible with the software.

I prefer iPhone for its security and simplicity
That's right, the iOS Is more secured than Android
It's not simple lmao, it appears simple at first glance. But isn't at the end of the day. Plus security is not an issue for my pixel 8. Just don't download weird shit from the Internet,
@@1VONGARDBut is it, really? Android has improved in security significantly over the years, to the point it's pretty much the same as iOS now. If anything, if you're a journalist/celebrity and don't want to be vulnerable to actual security attacks such as Pegasus, you should use Sailfish OS.
@@1VONGARDsamsung has samsung knox
Yes Samsung is secured too
But Samsung or Android gives you much freedom while risking a bit of security
While Apple sacrifice freedom for more security
Overall they're both safe with latest updates
And yet you’re using iPhone and Apple Watch .
Can't lie, they are great
But we want them to be better and improve, that's the point
The first mobile phone without a physical keyboard was the LG Prada (LG KE850),was officially announced in December 2006 and released in May 2007. It was the first phone to feature a fully capacitive touchscreen interface, designed to be operated entirely with touch rather than physical buttons or a stylus.
the LG Prada (LG KE850) was not widely sold in the United States. It primarily targeted European and Asian markets, focusing on premium customers due to its collaboration with the Prada fashion brand.

One lesson: Prioritize Improvements over Profit...
4:35 If These 1 Thing In The World Safer Than Boeing 💀😭
That's a joke 🤣
The idea that iPhones are failing doesn't align with the data. Apple continues to dominate in profits within the smartphone market, even if its global market share isn't the largest. However, consumer expectations have shifted. People now demand innovation and significant changes with each new model, and some feel Apple isn't delivering on that front.
So if you ask me...
iPhones are not failing. They're incredibly reliable and continue to set industry standards in many ways. However, the perception of stagnation and their premium pricing can be turn-offs for some users. If Apple focuses on balancing innovation with affordability while maintaining its strengths, it will likely remain a powerhouse for years to come.
This is a really well-made video! I actually am surprised it only has 15k views
Thanks 🙏❤️
The fact that Apple is not as free as Android makes me dislike it.
That Boeing comparison really didn’t age so well 😂😂😂

Yep, we wouldn't buy with that comparison. I just rode on a Boeing jet more than four weeks ago.

I went from android to Iphone, personally i liked my experience on iPhone more.
At the end of the day it’s just a preference, enjoy what you want life is short.
I don’t do much on my phone except play one game or watch a video and text some friends so not really a big deal for me but when I return to android in the next couple of years i would definitely go for Oneplus.

Smart phones have just matured. People hold onto their cars now longer too. This will drive prices down as phones become more of a commodity rather than a luxury item. I for one am very happy about this!

I have always preferred android over iphone because of the features and access to sites android phone provides.
You forgot to mention that Apple will now also allow users to choose default apps for everything like, browsers etc. But I guess it will only be in the EU (I am not sure about this though).

iPhone 11 was never meant to replace the previous flagship iPhones. That would be the 11 Pro. XR, 11, 12, etc are the standard iPhones. The Pro series are the real flagships. Comparing the iPhone X (which was a flagship at the time) to 11 (which wasn't ever a flagship iPhone) is simply foolish.

If you read an artlicle called "The law of accelerating returns" you'll understand that even though technology grows at an exponential pace and the pace itself is exponential, when an architecture matures it stagnates.Because one approach has its limits. It keeps this ways for some time until the next architecture emerges and an techonological explosion happens. The same is happening for some decades with combustion engines. So what's happening to smartphones right now would happen any way and this could be foreseen one decade ago.
