When I think of great rappers in the 80s, I think of Kane, Rakim, EPMD, LL, KRS, Slick Rick, Moe Dee, and many others but definitely not Mel. Like I said, he’s a pioneer in Hip Hop and has a few songs that definitely had a lot of influence on Hip Hop but he didn’t have a longevity.

To those who've been around the game since 70s/early 80s, it's clear that the game has advanced as far as true Mc'n goes. To those who've been around the game since 70s/early 80s, it's clear that the game has advanced as far as true Mc'n goes.
