@Diesel_Shorts i really like the Pittsburgh power box I have on my Peterbilt 379 with the 6nz cat, my cat does have the marine cat cam and marine Pittsburgh power injectors amd those back by the power box really made a huge difference in my pulling and top end response, of course you can start sucking down the fuel with it if you really get into it, but if your normal driving and get used to the way it's running you can get really good mileage out of it. Even being loaded I can honestly say that I can average 7 to 8 mpg but not all the time but I can average it, but that's because it's not starving for fuel or air of course, but I do not regret buying any of it, I honestly bought it all with getting better mileage in mind but it is nice to be able to drop a gear and mash on it to get around traffic or get on up a hill and not lose it all by not passing governed trucks or slower vehicles. I really recommend a owner operator trying out a Pittsburgh power box if you get the chance, iv let several of my buddy's that are owner operators drive my truck to see what I difference there is in the settings of it, my box has a 1-6 twist know on it with 6 being the highest setting of course. And I'll say to on the highest setting in a hard pull you definitely need to be mindful of the pyrometer if you have one or I recommend installing one.

If you watch this and want to float shift one and aren’t familiar with it, for God sake don’t put much tension on the shifter. Let your fingers be like the spring that is holding tension against it lightly instead of the palm of your hand! Keep in mind that all that length of the shift lever amplifies your pressure immensely and synchronizers and blocker rings aren’t unbreakable
The shift pattern is SO simple. I genuinely wish that instead of the complicated "splits" they just extended the pattern to the right or made you run it through the pattern again for the transmissions with more gears. A true 15-speed that you run through THIS pattern 3 times could likely replace an 18-speed and would be much nicer to drive. Likewise, a 12-speed that's just this pattern with an extra shift per layer could take over for both 10s and 13s. Then there'd only be two or three transmission types and they'd all be equally nice to drive. 10 speed low/hi, 12 speed low/hi, 15 speed low/med/high.
