Your absolutely correct, I’ve internalized my own situations and what I tell myself is that I’m grateful that the toxic people who were in my life let me see who they really are so I can make my own decisions to go no contact and block and when I met someone new I listen very carefully to what they are telling me so I can be ready for my exit strategy to not move forward.
Hi sir, I’m listening to your podcast for little long and I have grown more confident, but still very hard to bring all the positive things that you are showing to my life, I’m from world third class country and my family also third class in my country , I’m just a housemaid in a Arabic country, 36 year old no kids and don’t have any property’s or money, I can’t see how my life will be but still I’m listening to you, it’s help a lot, thank you so much, wish you all the happiness in the world, please if you have something in your mind to tell something a parson like me it will be word to me ❤
I took myself out of a living environment because the other person who lived there is a bully and even though I didn’t react I have what’s called a delayed reaction. What’s bad about this is I get angry later when I’m alone instead of in front of the person. I’ve already gone nose to nose and when I pushed back she got scared. I’m fully aware of how my actions are going to be impacted and I would rather deal with myself because I believe I know what I’m capable of doing. I’ve prided myself on not showing my feelings and watch the disappointment on the other person’s face when I show them that they didn’t get to me, unfortunately that person doesn’t stop attempting to bully me. Now that I’m out of that environment the husband and the adult child is going to be targeted which is unfortunate however they are enabling the bully. Not much I can do about that.
Oh wow...I have to admit...I never thought about "triggers" as someone else not poking, but rather much more can be used for one self ...triggers show what one hasnt healed from yet... But when you are and you can´t pin point from what...thats where most of the issues are... I will keep that in mind, however few of them i won´t let go of, such as disrespect, condescending etc....

Sounds like my experience I'm dealing with my relative. I am working towards removing myself from this environment soon 🙏🏽
