This is one of my favorite guitars that i own and use on stage. It is voiced like no other,it is stage and performance friendly with its light weight and low oval profile neck. I use a lr baggs i beam and para di on stage. I think this paticular instrument adds so much in a band mix. This guitar is good for fingerstyle blues, folk, even blue grass flatpicking. I think this 12 frett is constructed on an a symmetric braced frame.
Nice pickin'. The SM15 is especially clear with chords. I often use an open D tuning and this guitar just blows me away with its resonance. I'm a solo performer and, in this guitar, I have found the perfect mate to my voice and story telling. My only regret is that I waited so long to get it.
@@mr.plumchannel5420 Hah, that’s called old fashioned “Relic-I ng”! Some guitars have certain “sweet spots” my OOO15SM has all fretboard sweet spots, and the Harmonic usage is off the hook enormous bell tones.
I'm surprised by the glossy finish on your guitar. I have this model and it is completely satin. Did this occur over time or did it look like this new?
The SM is no longer on the Martian catalogue. It seems the stopped making them in 2019. They are hard to find and about double the price of the standard 15M. If you own one it's now an investment grade guitar.
It seems that they are producing a small amount again. It's very rare in Japan. I asked the musical instrument manufacturer and they said that the transaction is about 5-6 a year.
EXACTLY the way one of these beauty's should be played
That was classic Martin sound - love it.
So i just got mine today..man..i cant believe how light weight it is..great playing...love it.

I think it looks great. I hope mine gets a nice, subtle shine like yours
great playing of a nice guitar. I was going to buy one when I bought another Martin. Have regretted that purchase.

Thank you.
Let's enjoy each other's performances.
Excellent playing bro!
Great guitar, can never go wrong with Martin.
Martin is great in any tone wood.
Beautiful playing... sweet like a ripe plum.
thank you!
These are super fun to play!
Beautiful...I always look forward to your posts. I am fascinated by this little Mahogany beauty. How do you like this guitar?
This guitar always relaxes me.
I put it in the living room, so it's already worn out.😁
Nice playing. As for the guitar, how did you get the shine on it?
Thank you for your comment
It's disappointing, it's shines because of my sweat over the years.
What year is this guitar?
Nice.sound I have one too! Did you use guitar polish on yours because mine is not that dark and shiny?
This is not polishing.
Actually, it's because of my sweat💦

This gloss is due to my sweat!
Please enjoy playing the guitar
Suena a Ed Maverick🤠
Comment deleted because I corrected someone and told them the SM is available? Are they a friend of yours? Is it my user ID? What's the deal?
Just happened to me too!?

I'm not crazy about martin guitars due to their bright sound that lacks a certain depth and warmth.
how'd you get the beautiful semi gloss finish on this model? What products/materials did you use to buff?
To tell you the truth, this gloss is from my sweat.
I'm sorry I missed your expectations.
@@mr.plumchannel5420 that’s okay my friend! It looks beautiful nonetheless 🙂
