That guitar is so nice, sounds great, is it as expensive as Grand suzuki guitar? Thank you so much for sharing. Your are a great guitarist. Keep it up uncle.
@@toddvossmusic7833 Thank you. I sold a D-15M year ago and am thinking about replacing it and possibly with the 000-15sm. My ears just hear a 14-fret connection punchier and more articulate on the Martin hogs but everybody seems to like the 000-15sm.
That's a personal choice. I sold the guitar, I think the new owner is putting a pickup in it. If you gig, a pickup makes sense, I generally prefer no pickup, but do put in some of my guitars. The right one would sound great in this.
I have a 2012 000-15M and love it.
I got one 8 months ago. I love love love it.
@@lamar1423 congrats! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for posting. Nice pickin as well.
Thanks Paul, glad you liked it.
I have been saving up for this one
@@toddcagle4245 good for you, you will like it.
I think it was Chet Atkins who once said that it takes a guitar 20 years to figure out that it isn’t a tree anymore.
@@rogerdsmith That's a great quote, never heard that! Thanks for sharing, cheers!

Thank you! Not sure what a Grand Suzuki costs, these are $2000- U.S. new, used around 1500-.
Todd - another question please. What mic are you using to record this instrument?
@@andynovak9838 Hi Andy, the mic is an Audio Technica AT 2021 small diaphragm condenser mic, I like it a lot.
Excellent demonstration. You have played the 000-15sm and the D-15. Which do you prefer specifically for fingerstyle?
Thanks for watching! I would say the 000 for fingerpicking, but the D fingerpicks well also. Just depends if you want the deeper bass.

@@2628064379 I prefer the versatility and lush depth of the D-15m. To each his own, trust your ears.
@@toddvossmusic7833 We hear the same thing LOL!
Todd are you using light gauge or medium gauge strings? Sounds great!
@@andynovak9838 Thanks Andy, elixir hd light, which are medium tops, light bottoms.
Correction, DAddario EJ-16 light, in desctiption.
Do you think it's worth it to put a pickup in it?
